Rustic bubble tea cafe is a great place for snacks and for a date. There's a hugeeee selection of tea,.flavors and snacks that you can get there. While the environment isn't the most modern, they have tables and enough seats to accommodate customers..and you can definitely spend as much/little time there as you want. What I loved about Rustic Bubble Tea Cafe was...the selection! I found so many flavors that I would like to try that other places just don't offer (for example..guava..who has that flavor at all other than Rustic?!? But..it tasted good! If you know, the Bay Area is very diverse and are known for having the best types of foods around. The avocado smoothie and drinks are made of real fruits (and some sugar) of course. Most places use powder and pure sugar and no fruits in their drinks (more profitable). The tea, boba, grass jelly and other toppings here are freshly cooked to perfection! Yes, he uses real tea. Our all time favorite boba place in Albuquerque!! We have tried most every boba shop in town and always find ourselves craving Rustic and coming back for more! Our favorite is the snow bubble and there are so many different flavors and being able to have more than 1 flavor, there are so many combinations that you could do. And for most of my lunchtime or dinner, or when craving hits me, I usually order their amazing Pho. I've gone to different Vietnamese restaurants but I love their Pho the most. They just have the tastiest Pho ever. FYI, I brought my family and friends to this place. Rustic Bubble has an extensive list of bubble teas and the ones I've had are pretty darned tasty. They know the formula and have worked it well. Those, alone, make this place a must visit. Their food, on the other hand, is OK, not much more. It's great that they focus on Vietnamese cuisine, but their options are limited and really basic and limited. Their food won't kill you and make you sick. The owners just don't seem to have a passion to make their meals more exciting. They don't really go out of their way to make these dishes more enticing, which is a bummer. If you want decent Vietnamese, there are plenty of good restaurants around town. You can choose between milk one or a green tea one there's also blended or smoothies. Price wise is inexpensive competed to other places and boba tea co. Especially considering that they're tastier! I got the blended vanilla. Yes safe don't hate but it was really good. I also got a large beef pho for $10. It was a huge portion enough for me to share with my husband. On the side we got mint, bean sprouts, and limes. We got 2 egg rolls which came with a sweet and sour sauce. Super yummy! Service was great except the kitchen was backed up so our egg rolls took like 30 mins to come out. The rest of the food came out super quick though. This is the BEST bubble tea in Albuquerque! The tea was not bitter and still has the tea flavor. The boba are soft, flavorful and perfectly chewy. What we also discovered is the super delicious chicken wings, they are crispy full of flavor and moist. The pho here was discovered by my dad and mom. They came here to visit us from Orange county California where you can find hundreds of authentic Vietnamese restaurants, yet they ate pho here and they both raved about how good it was. We had to try for ourselves and it was really really really good. We have had pho in Boston, new York, San Jose, Orange county, in Vietnam also. This one holds it own. He ordered the Irish cream milk tea and I ordered the Thai tea. My husband's was delicious and I almost stole his but didn't. The Thai tea, while good, wasn't very flavorful in my opinion. I like it better at other places in town over this place. What I can say is that there are so many options here that I cannot wait to try and we will be going back very soon! Can't speak for the food here as I haven't tried it before, so this review is based solely on their boba drinks. The first time I go to a new boba joint, I always get a plain milk tea with boba or a Thai tea with boba. These are my methods for measuring how great the rest of the flavors are. Hahaha. I've got both and they were both pretty yummy! I do have to say that the boba isn't as flavorful as I'd want it to be and the texture is a little too mushy. I expect my boba to be somewhat chewy, but the boba here is too soft. I've ordered a few smoothies as well and those are always great! Passion fruit is my favorite by far.
