Absolutely OUTSTANDING FOOD! Please do yourself a favor and come and check this out! The menu changes weekly and it's posted online so you can look ahead at the choices. My favorite thing about Chef Jeshua is that his menu is always changing. He is absolutely incredibly talented with his food and the flavors and combinations are divine. Coming to the valley from NYC, I've found it difficult to find many good spots that don't serve the same old things. When I came across an article about him and his food, I knew that not only would I have to try it, but that I needed to alert my foodie friends. This food is the real deal and VERY special. I tried the falafel and LOVED it. Especially the level of heat. So good!

Oh my yum!! My drive out to the town of Coachella and in particular their food truck park that's open on Sunday's was absolutely worth it. I wish I could convey the amazing aroma of it all ... deliciousness!! The Kuma Catering cart held my attention, and I opted for a super tasty and unusual grilled cheese. Full disclosure... I ordered two actually. I couldn't make up my mind which to get and figured this way I could have half of two and save the other two halves for dinner or lunch tomorrow. My two halves were: 1. Bacon, honey crisp apple, caramelized onions, sharp cheddar, all grilled to absolute tasty perfection on rustic sourdough; 2. Lamb fennel sausage, peppers and onions, mozzarella, basil, also cooked to deliciousness in rustic sourdough. A giant shout out to Jeshua "Kuma" Garza, for his creative mastery on making what could otherwise be a basic grilled cheese into a gastronomic delight. Bravo!

I gotta say, I have been an out of town fan of Coachella Valley Brewing for a while, and now seeing what Chef Garza has brought to the proverbial table, this place is going to the next level fast. The menu on the day we visited has some great options such the chicken sandwich, burgers and the amazing fries. Pretty straight forward bar food right? Yes and No. Chef Garza elevated the offerings with aspects such as fried rosemary and curry aioli with the fries. The chicken sandwich was a home run with chicken that was amazingly tender and a slaw mixture that balanced the sandwich perfectly. But you may be asking...these are all pretty solid 4 star results? Yep, that coveted fifth star was tacked on there by getting to watch the owner operator work the room making sure people were enjoying the food and by the way he interacted with myself and my 9year old daughter. Most young children are a hindrance at best in a brewery tasting room, I will admit. But my kiddo I will admit is pretty accustomed to these types of surroundings.Well she flagged down Chef Garza to place an order before I knew we were even hungry :). Chef Garza addressed my daughter directly, answered her questions politely and honestly and even brought forth a few suggestions catering to her (see what I did there) as a kid, such as cutting the sandwich in half and bringing ketchup in case she wasn't a fan of curry. A 5 star experience all around and I am now looking forward more than ever at getting back here. Cheers!

This is the Ramen Dog featured on this week's menu. Definitely not your typical, boring dog. This was great.

What a great concept. After reading about Kuma for a couple of weeks, we finally gave it a try. This week's menu was all about hot dogs. I'm not talking about your boring style dogs though. My wife ordered the Shawarma Dog and I got a Ramen Dog. Each was cooked to perfection and had a unique and awesome flavor profile. We are looking forward to future menus and will definitely be returning.

You never quite know when Kuma will appear but when they do, you better bring your appetite (and your cash)! Chef Jeshua is the master of blending fresh ingredients and amazing flavors in a unique way. Follow on Instagram to see their upcoming menu and schedule. You won't want to miss it.

We still had some time to order our food, we arrived at 10pm and they close the kitchen at 11pm. The server Maria was really nice about sharing that info. Our order- Chicken Lettuce Wrap/Romaine Lettuce Garlic Noodles Dynamite Shrimp Mandarin Crunch Salad Ckn Black Pepper Chicken Espresso Martini w/Bailey's Irish Cream We liked the lettuce wrap appetizer. The flavor of the meat was good and the lettuce to put the filling in were very fresh and crisp. The garlic noodles were great with garlic flavor and noodles cooked just right. The Dynamite Shrimp were pretty small, but tasted nice with a crispy batter. I ordered the Manderin Salad with chicken. It was nothing exciting. I felt it was watery as if it wasn't drained or spinned long enough. I wasn't thrilled w/the cut of the chicken. It was thinly cut medallion style. The presentation of salad wasn't appetizing. The Black Pepper Chicken was decent. Made good for leftovers. I ordered an Espresso Martini. It was pretty strong. Whenever I have ordered this at other restaurants it's usually on the sweet side. I ordered a shot of bailey's to pour into the drink so that I could finish it. The staff were really friendly so I definitely give them kudos for that. I like P.F. Chang's and have gone to other locations. Coming closer to closing time could have something to do with some of the dishes being off. It's not something that will keep me from returning. The ambiance is well done, love the colors and the wood features.

The restaurant occupancy was about half full, 5 PMish, so it wasn't too busy. Our server was pleasant, although because she had a large number of tables to tend to, it was about 15 minutes before we were approached for drinks order. We ordered drinks and a number of appies to share, chicken wraps, dumplings, and shrimp. When it came time to order entree, we were told that they had NO egg drop soup (two of my party wanted it as a first course), and NO Hot and Sour Soup (I wanted it). Really? Asian Fusion on Chinese New Year out of Chinese soup, not one soup, but two! Wow, bad, that. All entree's arrived, except mine. The food server brought the meals to the others, presented them and left. As he was passing again a few minutes later I called to him indicating that I did not have my entree. "Let me check on that" said he. He mever returned (about 6 minutes). There were no staff visible that I might get their attention to find my food. Meanwhile, my guests were half through their entree when our waitress came by, unaware of that I did not have my meal. Another 5 minutes passed, my guests were nearly finished eating their meals, when mine arrived. Poor service, poo r communication between staff (unaware that my meal hadn't come). Food was OK, not great. Dined at PF Chang at other locations in California and Nevada, the food quality was not as good as in other locations. All in all, I regret that we dined here.

I chose the Comeback Sauce and Jalapeño sauce. For one order, I requested macaroni and cheese and cole slaw for the other. Since the combo came with a drink, I opted for two unsweet iced teas. When the food arrived, I was concerned by the very light weight in the bag. I reached in and pulled out a cardboard clamshell box. Opening the box, there were 10 chicken nuggets. For comparison, they were smaller than McDonald's nuggets. I looked at the receipt and saw that I had ordered chicken tenders. Written at the bottom of the receipt, someone wrote "I added two more tenders because they were small." They added a :) I was not smiling. I have never seen a chicken tender that is as small as these nuggets. To me, a chicken tender is a cutlet of chicken. So, I went to the look at the website for pictures. The pictures of the tenders were exactly what I was expecting. Now, I'm heated. So, I look in the other bag to fish out the side dishes. Both of the containers were so small. Each held maybe two tablespoons of macaroni and cheese or cole slaw. I'll bet if I emptied two of the sauce containers into this side container, it would fill it. Tea was fine. Hard to mess that up. The only reason I gave more than just one star was the two sauces. Both were excellent. I'm not usually one for sauces, but these small overcooked chicken nuggets needed some moisture. I saved the extra two sauces for later! I was really hoping for a new place to frequent, but I won't be giving this a second chance. (I did submit a request to GrubHub regarding the bait and switch. They did refund me part of my order, which I appreciated.)

I'm used to seeing Cheesecake Factory fully packed during Dinner time, but this was a nice quiet and calm change of pace. Our waitress was very kind and attentive, ensuring our drinks were always full and answering any questions we had about the food! We ordered the Beet and Avocado Salad, Fried Calamari (which in my opinion is still the best compared to anywhere else I've ever had Fried Calamari, and they got even better!), Grilled Steak Medallions, and Evelyn's Favorite Pasta. All the dishes were delicious, however, the stringy/fibrous parts of the asparagus was included in the pasta which we had to remove, and the steak medallions were cooked a little more rare than medium rare (which was what I requested), even then so, we still scarfed them down! Still, we were told it would be a 10 minute wait to be seated, which already felt a bit off. We ordered pasta, including the Louisiana pasta, and specifically asked for extra sauce on the side. When the food came out, the pasta was noticeably dry. We asked again for the extra sauce, and our waiter admitted he forgot to put it in. He mentioned their sauces are made fresh, but then did not check back in with us at all, which explains the empty water glasses that never got refilled. When he finally came back, he told us they had actually run out of the sauce for the Louisiana pasta. So we asked if that is why the dish was dry, and he said probably. No apology, no attempt to fix it, and no solution offered. Overall, a disappointing experience, especially when there were two staff members refilling salt and pepper shakers while our water glasses sat empty. Both the food and the service missed the mark.
