Amazing local ice cream shop run by two very passionate owners who are also ice cream lovers. Fantastic selection of flavors with warm and friendly service. There are several seasonal and original flavors. It's a small shop but they have several small tables to enjoy your ice cream.

Absolutely love kulfi!! The flavors that they offer are all amazing. We decided to stop by after dinner and ended up getting a double scoop of the mango and ube this time. The mango tasted fresh and fruity, while the ube was rich and had a sweet depth to it. Great spot!

First time here and already fans! We stopped by Kulfi for the first time after dinner tonight, and it was a hit with the whole family. Not only did we love what we ordered, we also got to learn what kulfi actually is, such a fun and flavorful discovery! The two staff members working were so friendly and patient with all of our questions and let us sample all the flavors beforehand and most importantly didn't rushed nor gave us attitude at all, which made the experience even better. - My daughter got the Mango Lassi Kulfi - Their friend got the Golden Milk Honeycomb - I went with a half-and-half Pandan and Rose City cone: flavorful, aromatic, and just the right amount of sweetness Everything was delicious, and we appreciated that nothing was overly sugary. We'll definitely be back anytime we're in the area. This place stands out above most of the ice cream shops we've visited in the past few years! The price is much more affordable compared to most.

Awesome variety of ice cream flavors, bars, and sundaes! Great service as well and spacious interior with seating. The turmeric honey ice cream was amazing - enjoyed the warm spice and honeycomb. The mango ice cream was like a lassi! The saffron pistachio and pandan were other standouts as well.

It is so nice to find a place that can make legit Indian Ice Cream - literally the most authentic in town You can try all the flavors and trust me, they are ALL good it's so hard to choose My favorites were the rose lychee, pandan and the saffron pistachio. The owner was serving that day, and he's awesome. Apparently his wife makes the ice cream behind the shop, which is really cool They carry new flavors every month, along with faloodas and kulfis. Street parking is limited and available. Definitely a place to stop by this summer!

Kulfiiiii, Kulfiii, Kullllfiiii!!!! I feel that if there is an ice cream parlor in heaven this place is exactly what it will taste like. SENSATIONAL!!!! I had the pleasure of finally getting to enjoy this shop. Enjoyed is an understated. I found myself indulging in every single flavors and couldn't pick which one I love the most because it was one after the other after the other. The shop owner was there and his presence made the experience all the more amazing when he said his wife comes up with the flavors.

This place is so worth the hype! We stopped by Kulfi around 6pm and it was definitely busy, but the staff was super friendly and made sure everyone was taken care of. You can tell they really care about giving every guest a good experience. Service was amazing! They let us sample a bunch of flavors before we made our final picks, and honestly, it was hard to choose because everything was so unique and delicious. The staff told us all about how the owner is super meticulous about flavor and texture, and won't serve a batch unless it's just right. You can taste that level of care in every bite. We ended up getting split scoops of: Kunafa + Saffron Pistachio: it was creamy, rich, and we loved the pieces of pistachio Kaapi Stracciatella + Chai Chai: it had a bold coffee flavor and the pieces of chocolate were well distributed, and the chai had a perfect spice balance. The flavors are bold, creative, and clearly well thought out. Will definitely make sure to add this to our itinerary next time we're in the area.

Dessert shop showcasing Indian desserts and flavors! They offer ice cream, ice pop, kulfi, falooda, and an assortment of toppings. Each flavor is mixed with familiar South Asian ingredients. These ingredients help to elevate the classics! The owners are so sweet and welcoming. It was clear that they were passionate about their customers and craft. It is worth noting that there is not a lot of seating inside, but their kulfi is best enjoyed on a walk!

There aren't quite enough words to express the passion / joy Gagan and Kiran have for Kulfi and what they've brought to the PDX community. Whether you're looking for a sweet treat or looking to have your frown turned upside down, Kulfi is the perfect spot! The intention they've put into this environment through their creation is palpable. The joy / happiness is contagious as soon as you walk in. Their new location is bright, vibrant, open, and welcoming (matches everything they embody)! I guarantee you'll need to make multiple visits because you're gonna want to try EVERYTHING. From homemade icecream to icepops, kulfi, falooda, etc. They've got a bit of everything! Mastermind Kiran puts together WILD flavors, and they turn out incredible. Major Mango is one of my favorite icecreams while the Pista and Cookies & Cream Kulfi are to die for. Recently, I tried their Kunafa and went to heaven. It's the perfect blend of savory and sweet because of the marscapone cream base and then pistachios, rose, honey, crispy dough strips, etc. You have to try it. It is one of my favorite spots in PDX and highly recommend checking it out. You'll be back for seconds.

"Kulfi" is an Indian Frozen desert. This place was brought up by 2 first generation south Asians searching for flavors from home. Such as I. This is walking distance from the hospital where our Baby is currently admitted. And during our walk, we stumbled upon this gem. The service was amazing! We got to sample lots of the different flavors but we have to go with Ube and Mango Coconut as our favorites. The Kulfi is hand made in the shop and the flavors are TO DIE FOR! The ube is spot on to how I remember it as a kid and just like the magnolia version. I wanted to take a whole gallon. The mango coconut tasted like fresh mangos that were cut straight from the tree. It definitely took me back. I wanted to whole tub of it. Now here's the best part- they both go great together too! Will return to try their falooda's which is a Mughlai cold dessert with vermicelli. To me it sounds similar to a Filipino desert called halo halo. But from Iran. I can't wait to try this the next time! Such a great place for this heat!

Came here for a unique dessert and I'm so glad we did! The staff were very helpful and were basically shoving information and samples, love it. Went with a falooda, the thing had noodles in it. The mango version was a treat. Ty ty

Jan18, 2025 If there is one place that I've to choose from my recent trip to portland, it has to be the "Kulfi". I'll be honest here, I knew just by entering into restaurent that its going to be amazing, without placing any order or tasting anything. I guess its about the vibe. Visited this place on Jan 18 with my friends. We had a heavy dinner so not much space left for dessert or ice cream but I still had to try it out. We got the "Mango Falooda" and it was mouthwatering. Jelly was the only part that I didn't like that much but overall it tasted great. Ambience is colorful with cute seating options, would highly highly recommend this place if you live/visiting portland and craving ice cream with some fusion flavors.

    The menu!

This place was awesome and we loved the Indian inspired flavors. Completed tugged on fond childhood memories and delicious! Gagan and Kiran were awesome and we loved chatting with them. Try everything and I suggest the flight! Such a cool and neat shop, had a line out the door. Must try while in Portland!

As someone who used to work in an ice cream shop, I have very high standards for what is served to the customer - the scoop sizes we received were noticeably inconsistent when compared to past visits & in my opinion, if a scoop doesn't at least appear to fill the cup, either smaller cups are needed or scoopers should be trained to not have their scoops be so compact. One of the scoops in the double mini we ordered was literally 1/3 the size of the other, cost more than the regular scoop but had less ice cream. The regular scoop was compressed into such a tight, dense ball, it was rolling around my cup like a marble on the drive home. We couldn't help but laugh when we looked in our cups because the portions we had just paid for were comical. For prices that are set at a premium, I want to feel like I'm getting my money's worth and don't like walking out of an establishment feeling ripped off.
