This place has vegan soft serve! And it doesn't taste watery or gritty, it's full-bodied and satisfying. I got the frosted strawberry vanilla topped with magic shell which was incredibly satisfying - the regular was a great size balance between gluttony and scarcity. Place is clean and bright and the logo of a bear with a hat on is adorable. Service was fast and friendly.

Wow it has been YEARS since I've had Eb & Bean. I no longer live in the northwest, but we were home for thanksgiving and were just wanting something sweet after dinner. My fiance typically does the chain froyo places, but I wanted to show him how the locals do it, and I took him here for an elevated frozen yogurt experience. He was surprised at how few flavors they had and was slightly confused why I brought him here- until he got to sample it. We tried the Vanilla Bean and the French Vanilla and when he tasted it- he fully trusted the experience. I was so impressed by the quality of such a simple flavor- not the artificial vanilla he is used to having but a very high-quality vanilla bean yogurt. We wanted to keep the toppings simple so the yogurt could speak for itself, so we went with the pistachio hard shell- WHAT A BANGER. WOW. I hope they keep this one around permanently. It was so perfectly nutty, the hard shell was nostalgic, and it was a big wow from both of us. My fiance was a changed man and as soon as he finished, he said, "we will absolutely be coming back again" (which is a big deal).

best frozen yogurt!!! the tart is amazing i love how they have non-dairy options too like almond milk ones. the strawberry almond milk one was bomb! the portions are pretty small but I can tell it's high quality :) wish they would have more topping options like real fruit - that'd make it even better!

All these years later, and this is still a favorite spot. Since 2020, we have lost so many iconic Portland spots, and I'm so grateful we still have Eb & Bean. Their attention to detail and dietary needs is amazing and greatly appreciated. The Marionberry pancake is one of my favorite flavors. My SIL got the garden mint, another of my faves, and my partner got his go to Valrhona Dark Chocolate. We love the little patio out back during the spring and summer. But this place is a hit no matter the season.

Salty pistachio with caramel & tom bumble crumble was great! Also tried the staff pick: salty pistachio, chocolate magic shell, honey & toasted coconut.

Eb&bean has been my friends and I favorite hang out spot since high school! Kind of pricy but it's a nice little treat for once in a while. I really enjoy the variety of fro yo flavors and toppings option, just ask for samples to try when you see a new flavor on their menu they tend to switch it up monthly I believe. Will continue to be back :) Note: join their reward program to earn points for free treat!

It's been FAR too long since I had Eb and Bean. But still it's my favorite frozen treat. I love tbag I can always rely on delicious non-dairy flavors and vegan toppings!! We went pretty late on a Saturday, arriving around 9pm but there was no line and in all fairness it was pretty cold out so most sane people don't want anything frozen. But I love that it's a super nice treat that isn't crazy filling or heavy. Now that it's back in my mind, and at the front, I envision more winter frozen treat days!!! In the summer it's a busy spot, usually with pretty good lines but they're worth it. It's super chill (pun intended) inside and not loud except for the buzz or conversation. Winter has it SUPER quiet but I don't mind it. As long as I get to enjoy!!

Frozen yogurt is a very nostalgic treat for me. It was all the rage about a decade ago so I appreciate spots like Eb & Bean that keep froyo around with an artisanal twist. I appreciate that they provide some recommendations of flavor and topping combos; it really helps narrow down the overwhelming choice of froyo flavor and fix-ins. No matter what, I have yet to be disappointed with anything I get here. This time I opted for the Plum Marzipan (seasonal dairy-free flavor) with Papa Haydn Coconut Hazelnut Crumb. The subtle flavor of the sweet plum with the creamy almond milk surprisingly work well together, I was impressed! The cake crumb added even more nutty flavor that made for such an enjoyable treat. Something I've noticed is that their flavors are never too sweet and with that they do not compromise the flavor profiles. I truly wish there is an Eb & Bean on the West side of town, preferably Beaverton area because I would be frequenting this spot so much!

So good! The froyo and toppings were amazing! The service was excellent!! The lady at the counter was very nice and when I said I wanted a little bit she gave me a little bit. The ambiance was good. It was quiet, chill, and welcoming. The music was not that loud compared to other restaurants. I'm really impressed, highly recommend and will definitely visit again.

Hot fudge is in quotes because chocolate sauce does not equal hot fudge. This tiny thing cost me $8. You don't even get to do it yourself. Everything is behind a counter. Each topping costs extra. The flavor wasn't even that great, but since they do it all, you can't customize how you like it. Also, no cookies?! I gave it 2 stars because at least it's organic and local.

First time at Eb & Bean. We ordered from the staff pick menu: I had earl gray in a cone with a yummy berry topping and my hubby had the purple cheesecake in a bowl with an assortment of toppings. I loved mine beginning to end and my hubby was enthusiastic about his but he lost interest towards the end - he thought his toppings didn't taste good with his yogurt. Anyway, it's a cute place with a good amount of seating and big windows to people watch.

The yogurt is great but it drives me up a wall how ridiculously inconsistent they are with serving size. For such overpriced yogurt, for them to give kids portions and charge large is incredibly frustrating. Today one of the people even said we had kids when he saw how ridiculously small they were but the woman who made them said nope charge them regular. We go often and the workers and rude and horrible at their job. I never leave reviews but I am over it.

Good, but servings are way too small for price! It's such a small portion. Also, some flavors taste kinda watery.

If I was a billionaire, I'd invest in this shop to open a second location by me in Maine. Small batch and homemade, these ice creams are luscious and delicious. They are not sickly sweet, and they don't need to be. They really let the flavors shine on their own. The thai iced tea is my favorite flavor, though the fresh banana is up there too. This trip already I have visited once IRL and later I ordered a shake from them for delivery to my hotel, which was great! No drop in quality there and they drew a cute little note. The marionberry was sweet, tart, and refreshing. The birthday cake had bits of yellow cake and confetti folded into the ice cream. The Belgian chocolate was deep and decadent. The bowl was filled to the top and our waffle cone was served to the side because the scoops would not have fit. My parents had the hibiscus coconut sorbet and chocolate sorbet. Both are dairy free. My parents were indifferent to both flavors. The hibiscus flavor was too strong whereas the coconut was too subtle. The chocolate sorbet has an intense cocoa flavor and they generally prefer a sweeter version.

First of all, you have to know it's in a sketchy part of town that doesn't feel very safe. I would recommend parking as close to Voodoo as you possible can. It's not easy as the location is in an area that doesn't feature much parking. Thankfully, Voodoo employs a security guard to monitor who goes into the doughnut shop, so I guess it adds a little feeling of safety. On our visit, only one party was allowed in at a time to the lobby area of the shop. Before going in you have to cue up in line outside. We went on a random weekday at around 8:30pm and had to wait about 20 minutes to get in. The interior of voodoo is very unique and interesting. When inside you can see all their doughnut offerings. The doughnuts are quite large and on the heavy/dense side. We ordered the Voodoo Dozen and it was a hefty box. To get a good sample of everything I think the Voodoo Dozen is a good way to go. It samples a number of famous donuts. I surprising found the grape donut to be one of my favorites. I suppose if you like grape flavored things this bought also be a doughnut for you! Overall the donuts are good, but I wouldn't call them top of the line. They are a bit over-sweet and they are not delicate. They are, however, very novel and a lot of fun.
