We live more than an hour away from Nick's, so the sandwich was cold by the time I was able to try it, so I warmed it in the microwave for a few seconds. The roast beef was cooked perfectly; thin sliced and rare. I wished it came on an onion roll (I'm not a fan of sesame) and had more barbecue sauce because I like a messy sandwich, but it was very good overall. Nick's Deli & Pizza has a huge menu and I would have liked to try more of it, so I guess I'll have to make a trip there myself someday.

Unless you want to…read morewait 20 minutes just for a regular roast beef sandwich and fries, I suggest you take your business somewhere else. I first went here back when it was Nicks and the service continued to go downhill until I gave up and just stopped wasting my time. Then I saw that they changed the name so I figured that they got new, better management. Nope. Just the same waste as time. My sandwich actually sat on the counter for 5 minutes before the girl noticed. Then she went and got the fries. Man. She couldn't have cared less just like the management in this dump. I can't post this unless I give a star rating. One is too generous but that is my only option.

We went back the next day and tried more of the menu and enjoyed everything we tried - DEFINITELY try the meatballs if you can! Husband said it was THE BEST ITALIAN that he has EVER had! The condiments are perfectly balanced, and the ingredients are so fresh that a simple sandwich turns into something incredibly flavorful. The women working here are absolute sweethearts. On my last visit, I called back three separate times to tweak my toppings, and each time, they were so kind and accommodating. By the third call, we laughed about it together--it was never a bother to them, just another example of their friendly and welcoming service. The space itself is small, so it's more of a grab-and-go spot than a dine-in experience, but that just adds to its charm. The efficiency of the service and the cozy, tucked-away feel make it the perfect little sandwich spot. Highly recommend! The sandwich I got this last visit was grilled chicken, tomato, spinach, lettuce, American cheese, and balsamic dressing with a side of hots.
