She used to have a boutique in her house and she was kind enough to allow me to come during crazy hours and days just to look/buy outfits. Then, her business grew and now she has a store. Thankfully I had built a business relationship with her that I could email/message/text her to get an idea of what was in stock. This was extremely helpful for me because I'm big on online shopping and I live in Saudi so I can't easily visit her store location. Fariha was kind enough to send me pictures and videos of items I would possibly be interested in. The videos had detailed explanation. I would chase quick pay her the money and have the item reserved for me when I arrive. Stress free. Why do I like her company better than the rest? 1) At the other store that is next to fariha's they play a shady game of not putting the price on the clothes so they can name any price they want to whenever someone asks them. I am a Pashtun and often times get confused for an Arab. When I went to a store near fariha's I asked the price of an outfit and I was quoted a very high price whereas when my mother in law (who is Indian) asked for the price in Urdu she was given a price 100 dollars less than what I was told. Whether you think that's fair or not, at least with Fariha the prices are clearly labeled. No guessing/bargaining game there. 2) At poshak which is a few stores down, their outfits are outdated and unreasonably priced. At fariha's Store everything is new and I believe are original and very fairly priced. 3) Unlike other businesses that are pushy and rude (that you often see at the eid bazaar) you will not get that with Fariha's. I won't lie, when I first went to the store I was disheartened to not see Fariha there, but the young girl who works there is just as knowledgeable, polite, and accommodating. I love how they are with the times and have an active instagram account. I follow them religiously on instagram so that I can see what products they have. You will not ever be disappointed with the work and price of the outfits you get.

I decided to visit Houston to try to find an outfit that matched both my expectations and budget. Princess Couture satisfied both requirements! Hiba was so patient and helpful. She helped me find outfits for both my sister and I. My sister was not with me but had specific requests that princess couture was able to help me meet! Some of the pieces that I wanted to purchase were not the right size. The team was able to take my measurements and alter the outfits for my custom fit. All salwar suits came with sleeves which we had added on. All of these alterations were done within three hours and I was able to take them home with me to Austin that same day. I've come back to this store maybe once a month for the past two years ever since. They carry a wide selection of clothing from casual t-shirts and sweaters to fancier dresses and blouses. Recently, they've been carrying a collection of screen printed t-shirts with the Houston skyline on them which is the perfect gift for a resident/native Houstonian. Late last year, during football season, they were even selling college football themed shirts. They also host a variety of decorative signs for the home. I've purchased several of these for myself and as gifts for friends. Their jewelry collection fluctuates between seasons; sometimes they'll have a lot of options, sometimes they won't.
