I had pretty low expectations here due to the low reviews but I was so pleased with this experience!! As soon as I entered, the receptionist was there ready to help me. She asked what I needed and quickly confirmed my appointment and had someone ready to show me colors and get me to my seat. I've never had this great of service at a nail salon! Lilly was the one who did my nails - she was very friendly and even made sure she knew my name, which seems like something no one tries to do these days! She asked what I wanted with my nails at appropriate times and didn't complain when a piece of fuzz got stuck on my nail, which she had to take off and repaint. I'm very happy with the way my manicure came out, and even more happy with the friendly service here. The gel manicure was also only $25! Very affordable in my opinion. They also gave me a nice bottle of lotion for Christmas, free of charge! I'm definitely thinking this will be my new regular spot for when I come home! read more

This place is fine. Recommended to me by a friend and it got the job done. I walked right in and was out in less than an hour. I got a pedicure and the paint lasted for a good amount of time considering the fact that I wear closed-toed shoes so often. However, i was a bit annoyed that she didn't paint the whole nail. I didn't notice it until after I left. I know some people do that to shape them, but I'd rather have my nails painted properly. They got me in last minute today which I appreciate. I had an overall good experience. It was my first time there so some learning curves to be had I suppose. My biggest dislike is there was clear UV gel on my nails and the 3 nails that needed repair the tech chose a pink color so I couldn't wear nude nails anymore and they didn't match the rest of them. I repeatedly told her things were different than what I'm used to, she said it wouldn't matter with color. Guess what lady, it matters. Aside from that some nails look over a week grown out leaving the salon. The feet to hand orangey-reds are supposed to match. The sloppy ones don't bother me as the skin goes quickly but cmon it's paid & tipped on. Overall I will try again but will be micromanaging (unfortunately as it is an escape). My nail technician rushed my fill in. My nails were uneven. I left with nail polish on my hands and a small spot of blood because she was rough when taking care of my cuticles. My nails chipped yesterday night and again today. Normally when I get my nails done they last 2-3 WEEKS without chipping. 2-3 WEEKS. These didn't even last 24 hours. Had an appointment on a friday for 2 gel manicures. Mine turned out okay, there are a few bubbles but nothing to really complain about. The person I went with, got a terrible manicure. The brushes they used were all mangled and her manicure ended up streaky and thin. There was no way the manicurist didnt notice, but she let us leave with a bad manicure. We went back the next day, and they redid the nails, which was nice, but I'm not sure that it's worth the money. Came here with a friend last weekend for gel manicures. The nail tech was watching over our shoulders as we chose colors and rushed us into chairs as soon as we each showed interest in a color. I should have known at that point what kind of nail place this was and walked out, but decided to just rough it out. The manicure itself was probably the quickest gel manicure I've ever received... maybe 15 minutes. Which is great in the sense that it saved everyone time... but not so great because the job was pretty poor. The polish was uneven, left huge gaps between the cuticles, and that evening one of the nails had already chipped. I've never had a gel manicure chip that quick, in fact I usually find them impossible to remove. I knew from the way she was polishing each nail that it would probably chip (barely coating each nail, doing them too quickly, etc). Not coming back here, waste of $25 plus tip. read more

She used the cheese-grater on the soles of my feet, and even after I told her she was hurting me she kept up... my feet are not nor were they calloused, so the grayer was over kill. I've been into this salon twice now. I can't attest to the quality of their work because both times they couldn't seem to accommodate my request for a gel polish (or gel polish removal and then mani/pedi) because they were "too busy." Generally, I understand situations like that. But, generally, when a salon states they are "too busy" you can also plainly see that they're busy. If I walk into a desolate salon with 1 client and 6 staff members, I expect to be helped out. I do not find that to be unreasonable... guess they felt differently. That being said, there are dozens of other salons that will be getting my business. I do not have time or money to waste at places that clearly don't want it. Wanted to use some motorized filer for my nails. Never even heard of such a thing. Make a long story short, I've been getting manicures for years (job appearance reasons) and this has to be the most expensive manicure ever $15, and even a shoulder rub. Didn't think she was happy with the $2 tip i left her, cause she left them on the table and walked away, didn't bother to say "Thank You" and I'm an language, it's all the same. The products were good for my sensitive skin, the staff was friendly and I am so happy with the finished product. I will definitely return again! Anyway, they always used to do a good job so since I recently moved back into the area, I stopped in today for a mani/pedi and an eyebrow wax on my way home from work and was very happy with my experience. I had a good experience. The salon is clean and well litmus not super busy but definitely had business. The man took care of me. I got a gell fill French manicure. He was gentle and made sure everything is even. My only complaint is that I have white polish on a couple fingers that he didn't clean. I'm not sure why there are so many bad reviews! I have been coming here for years. Even though there are a few bad employees, they leave later. If you are in a rush, get an appointment with Tina. Sometimes when I'm not in a rush and I want to relax, get an appointment with Sara. But note that both of them get booked fairly quickly, I know from experience lol. I've been here recently and the new employees seem nice. Tammy isn't the nicest, but she gets the job done. My daughter had an appointment with her, it went fine. Do not get your eyebrows done here, the lady ripped off a layer of my skin and I had to go to the doctors to get a prescription ointment to put on the (non-existing) skin under my eyebrows. The marks/scars were bright red for a week- embarrassing for day to day life, and makeup was not able to even halfway cover up the marks. Two months later and I still have faded scars. I had an appointment (my first time here, so with no one specific) and Lyly was the one who I ended up with. While I'm not happy with the work she did, the other young lady that sat next to her and translated what I wanted is the one I have the REAL problem with . I chose a dark purple color and a nude color for my accent nail and a very simple flower design. I asked the lady if they could do this and showed her the picture on my phone. She didn't say anything but nodded her head and sat down next to Lyly's table and played on her phone. So the manicure starts with Lyly taking off my old gel polish with the dremel tool. I've never seen this done before; I've always had them file some of the polish off with a regular nail file and then soak them in acetone for SEVERAL minutes before they attempt to remove the remaining polish off. Not Lyly. She used the tool to take off the top layer and then put the acetone soaked cotton ball on each finger with the finger caps. As soon as she was done putting the cotton ball on the last finger, she went back to the first finger, took the cotton ball off and SCRAPED the remaining polish off, which took off a lot of my natural nail with it. I asked her to let it soak some more but I guess she didn't understand me and her translator next door was too wrapped up in her phone to care that I was speaking. Long story short, I STILL have little bits of red gel polish under my current gel polish and my nails feel very thin from all the filing from the dremel and the scraping with the metal tool. Lyly then cut and filed my nails in a shape that I didn't like but understood when I told her and she fixed it. She then soaked my fingers to prep them for the cuticle cutting (again, not nearly long enough for my liking). I told her that I have cuticles that grow really quickly and I would like it if she would please really get in there and cut them as much as she could. She looked up and smiled at me and nodded her head but she hardly spent any time on them at all. When Lyly was finished painting my nails, the translator girl came over and I figured out that she was the one that was going to paint the simple flower on my accent nail. I had my phone out with the picture open so she could see again what I was looking for. Now, I totally understand that not everyone is an artist and I do NOT expect perfection, but what this woman painted on my nail was a hot mess and nothing like the picture. I really wish she had just told me that she didn't think she could do it when I first showed her. I would have been completely fine with that and would have either chosen something else or just gone with no accent art at all. No biggie. Instead, she gets totally irritated that I don't like her design (I felt awful telling her....I hate confrontation and, even more, hurting people's feelings but I just could not live with that design for 3 weeks.) She yanks the dremel tool up and started filing the design off so hard that she BURNED my finger. I yelled ouch! and yanked my hand away and she looked up and said, "Oh, sorry" with absolutely no feeling or apologetic tone. She continued to dremel (more softly) until the entire design was gone and then very roughly said, "so what do you want then?" I told her I just wanted the same purple color, so she painted it, then applied ONE half-assed coat of top coat and then got up and walked away, leaving me there wondering what I was supposed to do next. After like, 3 whole minutes, I looked at Lyly (who was sitting next door, taking the gel off of another woman's nails) and said, "So, am I finished?" She said no and told me to wait a minute. At this time, I realized she speaks pretty good English because she was having a full conversation with her new client. WTH? When all is said and done, only ONE WEEK LATER, my clear coat is chipping off my color, my color underneath is now chipping, my cuticles look like shit, and my ring fingernail STILL hurts to press on it. I will never, ever, EVER go back to this place! And neither should you!! read more

I stopped in for a quick manicure. No wait, but they made me wait 5 minutes. They were rude and indifferent. She pulled dirty cuticle snippers out of her drawer, and there were no signs of sterilizing equipment, so I didn't have her trim my cuticles. I waited another 5 minutes to pay- I stood at the counter and they all looked at me, but no one came over, so I dropped the cash on the counter and left. they wouldn't let me pay before polish. The technician wouldn't look at me or even smile, it was like they were doing me a favor. 2 days later, my polish is chipped and my nails are splitting. worst manicure ever, won't be going back.
