Our most recent project was the installation of a Moen Flo water leak detection device, a requirement of our new homeowner's insurance policy. The project required both electrical and plumbing work. The electrical work was completed by Alfredo Tovar. He was cheerful and knowledgeable. He took the time to explain the electrical part of the project and to discuss options for where and how to place the new electrical service. His work was clean and tight. The plumbing part was completed by Richard Mettler. Likewise very upbeat and knowledgeable. He also clearly explained the install and reviewed all the work he performed for us at its completion. And when I called Bellows with a follow-up question later that same day, Richard promptly returned my call and answered my question. We will continue to use Bellows for our home infrastructure projects and ongoing maintenance/inspections (via their BAM program). We recommend you consider them for any of your own project needs.

Bellows had a valid signed contract with a deposit. The contract didn't involve me at all. In fact the contract they unilaterally canceled was with someone else who had never criticized nor complained in any way, yet they vindictively took this action and haven't returned her deposit. There will be a complaint filed with the Better Business Bureau and civil action if they refuse to return the deposit in full. They didn't bother to notify the customer that they were abrogating their contract until after contacting the contractor as he was on his way to meet with them. This is a horrible petty outfit willing to illegally cancel valid contracts just because they couldn't handle valid criticism due to their own mistakes. In fairness the actual workers there seem responsive and capable. The front office and management is a complete disaster.

Michael Calvey thoroughly explained all of the options for our house's specific HVAC needs and was very patient with me as I asked a variety of questions. In fact, he made numerous trips to our house to answer the constant flow of questions my wife and I had. Bottom line, we built a solid working relationship with Michael and this gave us the comfort we needed to move forward with our HVAC investment. Calvey Heating and Air's estimate for a new heat pump and furnace at our house was very competitive. I was amazed at how much the pricing varied from vendor to vendor. Michael and the Calvey team made the entire process seamless from start to finish. Michael recommended an electrician who did a great job with our electric panel upgrade and the permit team did a fantastic job working with the city for all of the required paperwork. When it came time for the installation, the lead installer, Servando, and his team took pride in their work for the two day install. Similar to Michael, they were patient with me and answered all my questions during the install. Following the install, the Home Energy Rating System (HERS) Team promptly arrived and conducted the necessary testing. Lastly, the permit team met with the city building inspector to successfully get the city sign off on all of the work. Throughout the entire process, Calvey Heating and Air did a great job choreographing and managing all aspects of the installation. I was constantly kept informed and Michael and his team visited our house daily during the installation to ensure all was moving forward properly. Lastly, a final walk-through was conducted by Johnny from Calvey ensuring that the install was 100% perfect. Once my wife and I have had time to work with and get familiar with our new system, Michael indicated he will have his team come by our house and balance out our vents if needed and answer any additional questions we may have. Overall, my wife and I cannot be happier with our decision to have Calvey Heating and Air install our new system. Their service was great from start to finish and there were no hiccups.     I am a repeat customer. They had been taking excellent care of my 28+ year old Carrier Furnace…read more But, I wanted to explore replacing for more efficiency. Michael came out to my house and walked me through the pros and cons of a heat pump HVAC. For my home, the extra money made no sense. I really do not need central AC. We then talked about a new Carrier, high-efficency furnace. That was exactly what I needed. I also opted for the Ecobee Smart, wi-fi enabled thermostat. I am extremely happy with everything. The price was right. The installation was flawless. The post-intall QA walkghrough, by Johnny, went really well. ThenI worked with the folks that checked all the boxes post-intalleation. HERS test was easy with a pass.. Today, we passed the inspection, in under 5 minute. Every person I dealt with was amiable and professiona. The office staff always very nice. Michael Calvey was a joy to talk to. Thank you to Johnny, the project manager, and the folks from HOPSTER that facilitated the post-installation test and inspectioin. From start to finish I met with Michael on February 12th. The 16th the new furnace was intalled. February 17th Johnny did the QA walkthrough. February 18th HOPSTER did their pre-test and inspection walkthrough. The HERS test was done February 23rd. March 5th the city inspection was complete. I will continue to use Calvey for annual maintenance

    Super happy with the work from Lorenzo heating and cooling. I originally called when my furnace…read morestopped working. My furnace along with my AC unit were roughly 30 years old. I knew they were getting close to needing a replacement as my AC unit went out about 3 years ago but was fixable. I reached out to this company via Yelp and they got back to me very quickly and had upfront pricing for coming to diagnose my issue. A reasonable fee of $69 when the next closest was over $100. Anyway, Max arrived promptly and was very professional and courteous. I could tell he wasn't trying to sell me anything as he explained that some of these old heating units are better to fix and keep because they just aren't made like they use to be. He was transparent and told me that he could fix it but there was no guarantee how long it would last. He did not suggest i get a new unit, but I inquired as to the cost to just upgrade my HVAC system to become efficient and effective. Max provided a full quote within about 24 hours of servicing my unit. He explained the breakdown cost of two different systems and didn't try to sell me on a more expensive one. Anyway, we scheduled the replacements and they did a great job. Each unit took about 4 hours to complete and they had to do in two sessions since we were dealing with some heavy rain on the first session. They left my house very clean, were super cool with my barking dogs and were just all around nice guys. The price was also very competitive and reasonable. Nothing beats having a comfortable home. I'd highly recommend LORENZO heating and cooling.
