I grew up in New England (Pepe's in Connecticut) and NY and have had all the best NYC pizzas (DiFara in Brooklyn, John's Bleeker St, Pasty's, etc). I am so pleasantly surprised since I am also the first to Yelp review this wonderful gem! I'd like to start by saying it's kosher, so don't expect it to have pepperoni on it, get a classic cheese for a flavor experience that will have you shooketh. The place is small and it's easy to miss, however, know you're in for a treat when you find it. It's extremely clean, they work very quickly and based on the fact that it's also Kosher (a huge bonus), it's also a really good value for a 12 inch pizza which is their signature size, it's perfect for one very hungry person. If there's two people, even though they're a little bit bigger than a personal size. I know that I could not eat one on my own, I recommend ordering two. $24 is a fine price for this much pizza. The pizza itself is perfect, thin crust, soft in the middle crisp on the edges, the sauce has just the right amount of sweetness, and is not overwhelmingly saucy, the cheese has perfect flavor, and the balance of flavors is exactly what anyone would look for in a good pizza. They are open until 2 AM, so for that late night pizza craving, after a long night at the Hardrock, this is definitely an easy stop on your way to or from I-95. We liked it so much that after we ordered one, tried it, were astonished by the marriage of flavors and textures, we immediately called back and ordered another two! I hope that you try this place because I can easily say it's the best pizza in the area. SO happy it's in my neighborhood.
