At the middle of the Twin Shopping Center North is Pizza Ricca. Slices are encouraged with a $6 Lunch Break special until 4pm - two slices of cheese pizza and a soft drink. The owner cooked me a 10" cheese pizza for the same price. After a short wait, my pizza was removed from the smoking oven and grabbed my choice of a Coca-Cola from the cooler. Sat at one of the two tables and began a full assault on the four slice pizza. It was a very tangy garlic NY style. Pizza Ricca was a great place stop for pizza. The cheese pizza was very good, ready quickly, and came out piping hot. We also found out that you can order a single piece of garlic bread, which was a great alternative to the entire platter that's on the menu. The staff were very accommodating and friendly, making sure we were updated on the order and checking in. I enjoyed that the restaurant was on the quieter side. We ordered takeout from this pizza spot on Uber Eats. The menu had a variety of options besides pizza, with plenty to choose from like wings, pasta and other appetizers. Loved the crispy crust, cheese tasted fresh, heavy sauce on top, no grease taste that you get with a lot of pies at other places. It had a serious flop to it though. David Portnoy gave it a 7.2 and I would probably give the exact same score. It was a good pie but nothing spectacular. We wanted to try a new pizza place in our area for football Sunday and Pizza Ricca had the best reviews. We ordered a large cheese pizza and it was perfect for the two of us for lunch and dinner. We ordered online and then I picked it up in store. I was greeted immediately and they had my order ready to go! They offered utensils, plates and napkins and told me to enjoy. It's so nice to be welcomed and feel cared about by a business! The whole interaction was so quick I wasn't able to take many pictures inside but it's just a small place with the kitchen, front counter and 1 or 2 tables inside. The pizza was good! The pizza is delicious and they offer many toppings. The rolls are also amazing. We do garlic on the side so we can put it all together at home. I always order a few extra sides of garlic to add.
