Thin well-done crispy pizza cut into small squares allowing for easy servings. The key ingredient on this pizza were the generous portions of spicy kielbasa slices. The unique style resembles the legendary Villa Rose Pizza, which is now defunct. The wife doesn't really enjoy pizza although went nuts over this one that put a smile on her face with each bite. This is located in a food hall with a couple other options. The pizza is a GREAT option, I must say. We arrived around 5:30 pm on a Saturday and the place was quite empty. The wait was a little long but we weren't in any type of rush. The pizza we ordered was absolutely amazing. It is a crispy tavern style- half Pepp half cheese. My kids devoured this. My husband and I also wanted to try the Mad Italian beef sandwich. It was very flavorful, but I'd have to say I prefer other Italian beef sandwiches that I've tried in the past. South Florida finally has an excellent Midwest pizza place! The toppings were to the edge of the pizza and abundant, the staff are friendly, the crust had just the right crisp char, the meat was flavorful and the sauce has a kick. If you're looking for a tavern style pizza Mad Pizza definitely delivers! Midwestern pizza is severely underrated and not easily found in South Florida. It has a thin crust, cut in squares, and has toppings all the way to the edges of the pizza. In short it is a slice of heaven, not a slice of 1+ inch breading followed by some toppings and cheese. Now pizza is very subjective. I'm not a person who discards the crust but know many. I know people like the crust to be able to hold their floppy slices of pizza available everywhere. But the square cut style will always hold a special spot to those who grew up with this as our pizza. As I devoured slice after slice I forgot all about my diet. It was an experience that brought back so many delicious memories. Oh and they have RC Cola and even RC Zero! What a great surprise! First half was only pepperoni and DAMN, the most perfect pepperonis ever Second half was veggies with bacon & chicken and it was perfection The dough is thin and crispy, sauce very delicious and not overbearing (some sauces tend to give me heartburn). I truly never leave reviews but the world needs to know about this place. I could eat pizza for breakfast lunch and dinner, It is my favorite food. Mad pizza has made my love for pizza even stronger. It's the tastiest pizza I've ever ate, with working in the City of Hollywood It's going to be difficult to stay away from there (gonna have to add more cardio to my days now). If you're a city of Hollywood regular or more specifically a Westside Savage and loved you some Villa Rose, then Mad Pizza will fill that void and if I'm being completely honest it's even better than Villa Rose was. Called to place order. Asked about delivery. Placed on hold and a couple minutes later told no drivers available. Placed order for two pizzas and was told they would be ready in about 25 minutes. 30 minutes later I go to the address I had for them by the American Legion. Not there. Looked at the text they sent me and it had a different address (which was not mentioned on the phone). I go to that address, pay to park. Walk around looking for them in and around the food court. Eventually someone at another of the restaurants in there tells me they were kicked out for selling frozen pizza and not being a legitimate business. I called the number in the text I received. Different pizzeria, I think in Pennsylvania. I call the number at which I originally reached him. He tells me I am close, they are in "the big building." I tell him exactly where I am and what I see and then he says he will get someone else who knows the area better. Hold for several minutes, he comes back and says they are just the answering service. First mention of that in two calls. I tell him what has happened and he says he called the actual business and they are closed until Tuesday. It is spring break in South Florida, and a pizzeria, that allegedly looked into whether they had drivers for delivery and took my order is closed for four days? Not buying it. I tell him that the business that the answering service is working for is apparently a fraud. He gets very apologetic and tells me I will get a refund. I don't believe the business exists at this point and in my opinion is that it is a scam. I spent quite a while placing and trying to pick up my order, paid for parking, and had to tell the volunteers I was attempting to feed "sorry." One thing is legit -- Mad Pizza did make me mad. I would give zero stars if I could. read more

I am a disabled senior living alone in a wheelchair most of the time. I get a lot of meals delivered. Tried Mad Pizza delivery after reading a few good reviews and recognizing the being less than a mile from my home, pizza should arrive hot and fresh. It was hot enough but the very thin crust was more like cardboard than anything. Also I like what I believe are unusual toppings; in this case anchovies and Spinach. Enough spinach that was anything but fresh (like most places) , but the pieces of anchovy were the size of a pin head. Need to find a way to get some yeast in their pizza crust.
