The only reason I keep coming back to this place is being they have beer pong, darts, and relatively inexpensive drinks (AKA the group can't agree on any other place to go). Unfortunately, the bar is not only grimy and very, very dark and crowded, but the employees and bouncers are soooo rude. The bouncer that mans the beer pong table is particularly picky and you basically have to talk him up in order to even consider getting a spot on the beer pong list. Also - people legit CHEAT in pong here by bringing their own ping pong balls - why would people do that??? There is NO PRIZE for winning. Also, I think recently they replaced the pong cups with aluminum cups so it's pretty hard to keep the ball from bouncing out of the cups. Again - the only pros are that they have pong/darts and that they play the song "Get the F out" when the bar closes at 2am (pretty funny). read more

I held a happy hour event recently on November 10th. The bartender informed me that they do not host events so my organization just gathered in one area and put our organizations sign up for that area. The staff appeared okay with this as no one said anything but they informed my friend who was visiting from Denmark to put food away as she had bought Danish's for everyone. Other than that my friends and I gather here from time to time to play beer pong and just have a great time read more

"Maze daze (~_~)" This place is located on the fourth floor of the building and boy was it a difficult task just to get to the front door. I felt like I was in a game trying to solve a puzzle. The building did have an elevator that conveniently was broken down, so I had to take several flights of steps (which wasn't the hard part) but the step location wasn't all one way. I found myself looking thru the next door to go up I had to double check myself to make sure I actually was going up the right set of stairs And not trespassing into any other company or employee spot in the rest of the business. "Packed but with beer and sweat" So I went during cinco de mayo, the good thing I did this notice upon reaching the front door I saw numerous amounts of beer pong setups which I thought was pretty dope! I'd was ready to play at any moment till I saw the long line of people trying to get games in that was an instantly mood kill. The beers at the bar was insanely cheap and the bartenders made the mood even better with servicing! "Overall" Literally I would come back here when it is less crowded, I think I would enjoy my night again at this place. So give this a second chance when u come here read more

Like many brilliant wordsmiths have done before, owner of Krush opted for the naming device of reinventing c-words by replacing the c with a k.* The decor is very of the moment barn chic. Wood is everywhere. So not the usual faux glam of so many other ktown bars, even "sports bars" like players. However like other ktown bars, it's on the 4th floor of a non-descript building. In trendier neighborhoods, this could be called a speakeasy. In ktown, it's called a game of how many drunk Asians can you fit in an elevator on a Saturday night (really fun game). Anyway, on to the critical issues: wings. The draw with many ktown bars is the food. Here, it's a mix of standard American mixed with Korean food. So, burgers are made with Bulgogi, pork cutlet is drizzled with tonkatsu sauce. Lastly, the wings were delicious and come in a variety of flavors like the standard buffalo as well as sweet chili and peanut sauce etc. Prices are standard but right now they're running a bogo deal on beer and appetizers (guess which one is more appealing to me? Lemme know if you want to go in on orders of wings so we can cover the flavors). *i have no idea that this is true, it may very well be that he used the k as an homage to its milieu of ktown. read more

Ever feel like going back to your college days, filled with fun and regrets? Here, you might go back in time. This is not your fancy schmancy bar with fancy schmancy drinks, but it is a bar with cheap drinks, young crowd and beer pong tables! So if you want to challenge the stranger next to you to a friendly competition of beer pong, you are at the right place. Also it is no joke that this place is hard to find! I am not going to tell you how to get there because don't want this bar to be super busy lol. Happy hours is pretty good, buy one get one free drinks. Destress after your busy work day! Oh, did I tell you that the female bartenders were cute? read more

Krush is relatively new to the Ktown community and I've got to say, it's got the most diverse crowd in terms of nationality/race on the whole street - and I love it! There's the loud an obnoxious frat boy types and the drunk whiney girl types. There's also a bunch of actual cool people there too... and my roommate and I were actually discussing how the eye candy here was actually above average! It's nothing like any of the other lounges or "meh" bars in Ktown... it's got darts, beer pong, and most importantly, tons of huge TVs for sports fans like myself. They've got a happy hour until 11pm on a Saturday, which I've never heard of, but my friends gladly partook in. Meanwhile, I enjoyed the NBA finals. Have not tried the food. I also liked that it wasn't overly crowded on a Saturday evening... but who knows, maybe it will be once people start really finding out about this place. Krush will be a regular stop in Ktown from now on! read more

This is a great place for casual beer or cocktail, beer pong or just to watch sports. A really good place in K town.

Krush is....well, an Asian sports bar. Complete with beer pong, wooden tables and stools, and a rowdy crowd Thursdays-Saturdays. They have a decent drink selection (including picklebacks!) and average prices. The real MVP here though is (the server) Ashley. Efficient, fun, and so nice! She's is simply the best--5 Stars for her :) read more

Krush Bar is kinda gross but kinda passable if you want a casual bar where you can feel like you're in college again without judgement. Because that's what most of the people here are doing as well--reliving their youths by drinking cheap beer and playing beerpong. You'll see dudes in their late 20's high fiving each other after making a cup, while their bored girlfriends sit on stools by the wall. You'll also see dudes in flannel trying to pick up girls they face at the beerpong tables after destroying them in a game. Yup--just like college, only a little sadder. read more

This bar might be worth patronizing if not for amateur ownership/management and an unwelcoming environment. Husband and I spent a Sunday evening at this new sports bar, KRUSH. (Don't worry, I'll get to the ridiculousness of the name later.) An as Asian-American woman, I'm always in support of patronizing Asian-owned businesses. Turns out that the owner is a woman, which is also terrific. It's a great bar to watch the games if you don't mind sitting around listening to drunk Asian guys yelling the N word at each other for over an hour while staff and management turn a blind eye to it. We couldn't believe that no one else seemed bothered by this. My husband, who is black, finally had it and asked the guys to refrain from using that word. The drunk guys became irate and threatened to "take it outside and f**k [us] up". Management showed up and responded by kicking all of us out of the bar. It's good to know that they have the safety of their patrons in mind. I followed up with the bar owner afterward and she was adamant that she and her staff are accepting of all people because they employ a black bartender and bouncer (unfortunately, neither of them were there that night because I'm sure the situation would have turned out differently had they been there.) What a relief to hear that they are not racist people because they have some diversity on their payroll. Instead, they oversee an environment that allows ignorant customers to use racially charged language at high volume while others get to sit around and feel invisible, silenced, and disrespected. At any point during this conversation, did the owner acknowledge this lack of oversight by her or her staff? No. So I called her on it. I had wondered why there were only 5 other patrons at this sports bar on a prime football Sunday. I thought it was due to the poor choice of names for a sports bar (Krush? Crush with a C would already sound pretty lame, but with a K?? In ALL CAPS?Seriously?!?) Now I know the real reason why. Never going back. read more

Most horrible attitude from the staff. This blonde lady was so rude to us. Not helpful At all. Management should be embarrassed for birding her read more

Can you please add me to the regulars list? I don't know why, but I've recently started going to Krush regularly on Thursdays. Maybe it's because of Wa Bar's wings special or because of the crowd I hang with, but it's inevitable that we end up at the pong tables, nursing our pitchers of beer. The vibe is a lot like a sports bar but fun and danceable. Despite being in the heart of K-town, the crowd is relatively diverse, and the drinks are all reasonably priced. Just a note on table service, if it's crowded, you're going to have to wait for the server. We made the mistake of ordering from our table server and trying to get our drinks at the bar (just don't do it, it confuses everyone involved haha). Oh look, it's Thursday. Maybe I'll see you guys there later tonight! read more

Gotta love a bar with sets of good quality darts and tons of ping pong balls at our disposal! At 7:30pm on a Friday night, it wasn't packed enough to be excluded from beer pong and dart games. In fact, we were the hoggers. A few shots (I can't remember how many), a few beers (I can't remember how many), a glass of wine (I remember!) and hours later, I found myself in Woorijip playing watermelon as if I was back to being an underaged sorority girl. Redundant to say, I had a great time. A pitcher of beer will run you $23, the chili chicken wings are delish but the kimchi fries are lackluster, even when with the drunk munchies. read more

If you want to revive your glorious beer pong days from college, Krush is the place to go. On a Saturday night, there were a fair amount of people there but luckily, we arrived early enough to have a table to ourselves for at least 1.5 hours before having to rotate. The rotation system at the tables were very easy to manage and very fair as there was a very friendly bouncer who closely regulated the lines. The general population is in their early 20's with a few exceptions. The bartenders were also super friendly and drinks were on the cheaper side of the Ktown spectrum. My only complaints are that the 4 beer pong tables might be a little too close to each other for comfort & on a hot summer day, the AC here is not blasting enough. read more

If you're looking for a chill night with friends, you'll find it at Krush. We got there around 11PM on a Saturday night and immediately found an empty table in the corner. It was a comfortable noise level and we were able to play games and chat without screaming. There were TVs everywhere playing the basketball game. There's also a beer pong section which is well organized. We ordered two pitchers of beer and they ran out of cups...? So they gave us plastic cups that looked like the ones used at the beer pong tables and they were also wet (hopefully from being rinsed). read more

Krush - Awesome wings. - Sports Bars Near Me - New York, New York

Been to Krush several times. Good place to meet up or hang, if you have a mix of friends that like pong, shoot darts, and just sit and talk. Drinks are pretty average Ktown pricing with some HH specials. Note that this place does not let food in through the door - you literally have to put food on the counter by the door. I lost my birthday cupcakes because of this!! Still upset, because they were purchased by my best friend and apparently comes from a famous chef. I get it - you guys don't want people to bring food to eat in your facility. Why don't you let people in with the food and a warning, then kick people out if you see people eating the food? Or if you're really salty about it, offer a better check-in service rather than leaving food at the door (and getting it stolen). Way to treat a birthday girl with some love there Krush! Hope you re-think your policies, or re-train your staff on how to handle special occasions! read more

Fun place to chill! Super casual bar as opposed to a lot of other places in ktown. There are tables on one side that you can sit down and eat and drink and the other side has beer pong tables and dart boards. Place is poppin on the weekends and sometimes weekdays too. But it can get super crowded at times so be warned! They got several tvs that you can watch games on above the bar and near the tables so it's nice. Friendly and attentive staff and owner and it makes for a great hangout atmosphere. I always end up stopping by when I'm around. read more

Came here for a couple drinks with a friend last night. Despite his suggestion that we go to yet another Midtown Irish bar, I insisted that we try this new place in Ktown. True to Ktown style, this place was very difficult to find. Located on the 4th floor of 2 west 32nd st. which as far as I can tell is half residential, half business, plus/minus a couple discretely operating brothels, you have to want to come here to find it. There is also a second floor sake bar in this building which I will be reviewing separately. Upon stepping off the elevator, we look to our left and see a door cracked open with a sliver of the bar peeking through. We walk in and notice that the place is mostly empty at 7PM. There is a group of older guys drinking by the bar, a couple of unhappy looking brown guys in place of the usual hot Korean waitresses, and an Asian guy who I would later find out is the owner. We sat ourselves at the bar and asked the bartender what the specials were. He reported that $5 Budlights were the only thing on special right now. Had I bothered I look at the huge chalkboard behind me, I would have realized that there were also other specials he hadn't mentioned like $10 soju bottles. Our beers were served up to us in mason jars with handles. I asked the bartender how many ounces the cups were and he said 20. A dubious optical illusion, no doubt. The decor is mostly wood with 4-5 TVs around and a dartboard in the back. As someone has mentioned before, it looks like a trendy barn. We ordered some wings - sweet chili and soy garlic. The wings were decent, saucier than Bonchon and not as crunchy but still pretty good. I got this one wing that seemed to have come from a chicken with a bone tumor as there was a huge growth on one of the bones. It kind of freaked me out, but I ate it anyways. As there was barely anyone else there, we had control of the dartboard all night and some fun was had there as my friend hustled me for two rounds of cricket. Overall, I think it's too early to say whether this place is going to take off. It's certainly classier looking than Players, the other Korean sports bar in Ktown. The potential of this space is undeniable, but they definitely need to do something to differentiate themselves from other Ktown venues. The drink and food prices here aren't cheap, and for the booty-minded, it's not exactly crawling with honeys either. I'll have to periodically check back and report. For now, FO STAHS. read more

Scared to write this review and overcrowd a fantastic sports bar space. Impossible to find, it's on the fourth floor of an office building with zero signage, so good luck. I believe when we went in there was a "for rent" stuck on the glass front door. It's on the south side of the street closer to 5th. Anyway if you make it up you'll be happy you did. It's clear there isn't always a lot of traffic because the place, for a sports bar, is in wonderful shape. Really nice space of wooden benches, wide bar, pool table, juke box, and screens. Everywhere. With 2 for 1 drinks all day and close to Madison Square Garden it's perfect for pregaming, or watching your fave New York team when you can't get tickets. Or just want a beer before mad for chicken mmmmk? Head here. read more

All of the negative reviews are true. Don't waste your time here. We bought beers and shots and because we didn't buy a pitcher of beer per person they wouldn't give us the balls to play...the whole reason why anyone goes there.... the bouncers are rude, uneducated, and lethargic. If you want to get bullied go here... if not go anywhere else. read more

beer pong, darts, and TVs everywhere. apparently, the bartenders do a dance when they make your drinks; though i haven't witnessed this myself. place is good if you just want to hang out and have some drinks. it gets super crowded around midnight, especially around the beer pong tables and darts area; so get there early if you want to play! read more

I'm so glad there's a new ktown bar that's not super crowded or blasting kpop, where we can talk without screeching and yelling, "WHAT?" every other sentence. My two girlfriends and I went on a quiet Tuesday night at 6pm for my birthday drinks. Place was pretty empty. The waitress Julianna was really nice; we got our food, shots and drinks quickly. - Their pickleback shots are no joke! Melon soju drink was also strong. We left tipsy. - For food we had the kalbi wings and kimchi fries. Very flavorful and yummy, fries were gone in no time. The only thing I would ask for is more happy hour deals besides specials for shots. My liver shrivels in fear just thinking about multiple shots on a weeknight, how about a nice HH cocktail? Will be back, especially to check out more food e.g. their budae jigae! read more

Don't come here. I came here with my friends to have a good time but my boyfriend got assaulted by the bouncer. First the ambience is so wack. There's no one there, the bartenders are rude and the whole establishment just sucks. My boyfriend and I went into the bathroom together because the bathroom door was broken. Then the bouncer comes in breaks through the door and pick my boyfriend up hits him and harassed him. All while I was just trying to use the bathroom. No wonder why the bathroom door is broken. from all the aggressive bouncers and rude people, please don't give your money to this establishment. read more

We went there right away after work in a weekday, empty cool. Bartender is a chill cool guy who likes to talk with us. Nice chef offered us cocktails which were on house. Yaay~ we had buffalo wings, pretty spicy, in a good way. The bar is up floor mid of nowhere in ktown. No sign at all that time, asked few ppl come in n out of the building, they all don't know the bar is up there. Lol. Are you a hiden bar?! read more

Johnny the owner is super nice and down to earth. The rest of the staff is just as awesome. But that's not the best part of this place... AMAZING food, stiff drinks, chill atmosphere. Oh, the food is good too! Beer pong was set up by the end of our stay. We wanted to play, but Matt was too drunk. read more

Dropped by real quick to meet up some friends. Beer pong FTW.... if you can get a table.

Ugh I guess Krush is okay if you're really into beer pong or darts. Scene is a lot of douchey Asian guys trying to relive their frat (lamda/akpsi) days who take beer pong way too seriously. Music sucks, half the bar is taken up by the beer pong tables so there would be no room to dance even if the music was good. read more

Great sports bar! Been living in Manhattan for over a decade and always wanted a nice sports bar in ktown. This place has tons of TVs and direct tv unlike fake sports bars like Players. The food is great here as well. The Kimchi fries are great - think shake shack cheese fries with kimchi. Also the buddae jiggae is very good as well. Other perks include two dart boards and great service. The servers, bartenders and hostesses are very nice. read more

KRUSH is officially the best Korean Sports Bar to hit up in Manhattan. The location is great being right in K-Town, 32nd/5th, and offers some distinct activities (beer pong, darts, etc.) to complement the crazy array of flat screens showing the big games. Their density of flat screens is up there with the best mainstream sports bars around. Their Happy Hour specials are fantastic as well with great food and drinks at great prices in a great, chill atmosphere. read more

Hidden gem up on the 4th floor (a bit tricky to find but it does exist) The wings and kimchi fries are really good! There is beer pong in the back (not my thing) and big screen tvs all over the places, playing the football games. They play good hip hop music and this place gets crazy busy at night time so if you want a table get there early. read more

Solid dive bar. It used to be cheaper, and used to have cooler staff last year, until the bar tender was fired as well as the bouncer. Still a good spot to get a cheap-ish and strong happy hour. Gets pretty packed on a Friday and Saturday night. read more

Went here for a group happy hour. Not exactly the easiest place to find. Any signage you might be searching for based on pinpointing its approximate location on Google maps will not only NOT be visible, but will also be overwhelmed by the signage of other businesses who have more sense when it comes to placement and advertising. Once you get up there, you'll notice the place is quite a detraction from the usual places in K-town. This bar could easily have been in Murray Hill. In fact, the only thing keeping me from believing I had hallucinated and was actually in Murray Hill was the slightly skewed ratio of Asian people to bros (there was also a number of Asian bros, to make things confusing). It's pretty much a bro/frat boy sports bar, but with a more relaxed vibe. Beer pong is a big draw here, although I didn't partake, and they have a 2 for 1 drinks happy hour special that is somewhat cool, aside from the fact that it's limited only to crappy well alcohol (hello hangover!). Also, the bartender was either trying to be funny or play a sick joke on me, as he told me that all happy hour drinks orders had to be placed in the happy hour period (8pm). It was 7:50, I had just ordered a drink, and they only let you order the second drink after you finish the first one. Thankfully, a friend called bs on him and told me to stop chugging. It was a cool enough vibe and I had a good time chilling with friends and meeting new people. It didn't get too crowded, probably thanks to its obscure location. read more

DON'T OPEN A TAB. Normally I really enjoy this place. Decent deals. Good atmosphere and a fun time. However never open a tab! We found extra drinks added on to each of our tabs. It was obvious that the bar tenders tried to pull a past one on each of us an up charge us. They tied to fight us about It too. So disappointing. Likely won't be coming back. Don't be fooled Update: we ordered chicken nachos, cheeseburger egg rolls and sliders and all of us got food poisoning. AVOID THE FOOD. read more

Beer pong tables to blow off steam, the food is decent, and eye candy (if that kind of thing matters to you) to boot. There are a bunch of tables if you prefer to sit and eat and such (instead of ordering from the bar you'll have to order from the server). The drink prices are fairly decent especially if you take advantage of the HH specials. There are also 2 dart stations as well so you have options to kill time instead of sitting around and being the people watching creeper. We stop by for quick happy hours with coworkers every now and then for some simple fun. The place is pretty quiet if you head over right out of work, but the place gets packed rather quick. read more

Great spot in Koreatown - A little strange to find and get to, on the fourth floor - Nicely setup - been there both on crowded and empty nights - On the extremely empty night, the owner comped us a few drinks, which was nice - Really tasty food, definitely try the krush dogs (which are on the happy hour menu) read more

Super subpar. Used to come to brush often but as we get older we find more sophisticated places to drink at. Came back tonight with my family and my sister in law's little bro and his friend (who was visiting NYC for the first time). Idc about the new people running the beer pong table but... Wtf. We were told that it's 2 ppl per pitcher and if someone wanted to switch with the loser we'd need another pitcher. Mind you it was only 8:30/9 and there was still another beer pong table open right next to us. Since when did they have this rule and since where they so anal about shit? Had the dude who ran the table hadn't told us that if someone switches out we have to get another pitcher, we probably would have stayed longer and gotten more pitchers as we play beer pong. Instead we said fuck this shit and left. total disappointment! read more

I'm between 2 and 3 stars, but had to lean towards 2. This is a really odd bar on the 4th floor of a building in Korea Town. Initially came because they advertised online that they had the playtime buzz trivia games but when we walked in the bartender said it wasn't even hooked up and that they had really no pressing or immediate concerns about even thinking about getting it started any time in the near future. How sucky. I suppose we should have called in advance or they should just not advertise as having it at their bar. This place also doesn't open until 4pm. It's also a very odd atmosphere. Half we're trying to sell ourselves as a fancy cocktail bar lounge with Manhattan prices and half we're selling ourselves as a college bar with an Asian theme. There are beer pong and flip cup tables set up on the side with dart boards and then on your other side a lounge with $8 cocktails or 2 for 1s during happy hour. But 2 for 1s only on cocktails. At least that's what the bartender informed me of with the deals. We were also the only people in the bar for a Saturday night and these normally $8 cocktails were weak as hell. The only good part about my visit were the 90s jams and complimentary chips that came with a sweet and sour type of salsa mixture. Although, they even managed to screw up the complimentary part by adding on a complimentary loose hair inside the sauce. read more
