The stupid bitch Sam wouldn't let a 90 year old man use the restroom and he was the customer. Horrible experience next time anything gets towed here find a way to get it out after hours read more

Due to a recent car accident, my dad's car got towed here and we were forced to come retrieve all his belongings. I wasn't expecting great service being that this is a tow yard, but the girl at the window was actually relatively friendly. She explained what papers we needed to sign and was pretty nice. After talking to her, everything went downhill. It wasn't until the very last minute that they informed my dad and I that they are a "closed facility" and we wouldn't be able to see the damage to the car or get our belongings out ourselves, some random stranger who worked here was going to do that. So we just asked that everything be taken from the car and had to wait. We were left waiting and waiting and waiting. Took about thirty minutes before someone came out of the gate with all my dad's stuff. The guy brought out my dad's golf bag (with all the clubs) and his lunch box, and EVERYTHING ELSE was thrown in a TRASH BAG. And by everything else, I mean EVERYTHING: car registration, GPS, transponder, a full portable cup of coffee, parking permits, golf shoes, clothes, CDs, loose change, pens, a plastic bag for trash (including ALL the trash), etc. I mean REALLY? Just a complete lack of respect for his belongings. Luckily, none of my dad's important stuff was ruined by the coffee or the trash they threw in there, but we were still extremely angry about the manner in which his stuff was returned. The guy didn't even hand my dad his belongings, he just dropped it on the ground and walked away. UNBELIEVEABLE. There also aren't many places to park, so be prepared for other people to box you in.... So the girl who gave us the paperwork was all right, but everything else about this place SUCKS. read more

I had a horrible experience here. My car was towed in late August, my husband totaled my truck and unfortunately CHP placed a 30 day hold on my vehicle. My problem with Kruger's Tow was how extremely rude and impatient the front receptionist was. Her responses were always so rude, she had the worst attitude, and this was all by phone. When I finally had to come in to pay the tow fee, guess what? She was even more rude in person that she was over the phone. She made a snarky reply to my husband before storming off to the back. He simply asked "could you make sure that they're careful not to break anything else" (because everything was turned over due to the crash) obviously that was not considerate of my husband to ask, but she did not have to reply the way that she did.. which was " My team will do whatever the f*** they have to in order to gather your s****! I was baffled and disgusted!!!!! Neverrrrr will I ever give this place business because of that lady. If I could give 0 starts I would! read more

This is my first ever yelp review. This whole team will treat u like a dog on the street! they will speak to u as if they never got taught how to speak to another human being! My car went in for a 30 day hold mind u my car has a brand new engine with nothing on the dash when i got it out all of a sudden there was a check engine and my car didn't turn on. I thought maybe it was sitting there for to long i took it to my mechanic and they said the battery was messed with & is missing a hose so how's that kruger? if ur car goes in here make sure u stand ur ground and treat them how they treat u. Cause they could give 2 fucks. every "adult" that works there i know there parents are ashamed of how they turned out. they work at what looks like junk yard cause they r some junky ass people. read more

My car was in an accident, half a mile from there tow yard ,I asked the driver to tow it to my mother's body shop which is located in Long Beach .Her shop is Color King World ,and even told the driver I would give him an extra $30 tip if he would ,plus of course the tow fee,he said he couldn't that he had to take it to his tow yard ,and since the car is under my mother's name and they closed at 5pm,my mom had to leave her shop and pay for another tow truck to have it tow to her shop ,and the lady at the front window was so disrespectful, towards my mother. I couldn't believe they have people working there with that addittute, behind a glass. read more

How can a tow company that works with the police steal things from cars? When my car is left with someone who has the keys, I expect them to be reliable, especially since they work with the police, who are supposedly here to protect and serve. Please make it make sense. Not only were things missing from my car, but everything in my glove compartment and trunk were moved around, as if they were searching for something more to take. This is not the first time, and I am sure it will not be the last. Not only should this tow company take responsibility, but the police should uphold their values by looking into who they partner with. Very very unprofessional and appalling. read more

worst place ever . MY CAR WAS STOLEN FOR 3 DAYS & THEY MADE ME PAY $300 TO GET MY CAR BACK WHEN THEY DIDNT EVEN HAVE IT FOR 24 hours . they told me my car wasnt drivable when they called me and told me they found it. all i needed was a tire on it . All my stuff was everywhere like they went through the car papers everywhere read more

Twice I had to get my car out of here. (Not my fault for either.) They take forever, and make you wait forever! After I paid, the driver went out to tow a car and they made me wait until he came back. That's their policy, if there is a car that needs tow service...everyone else has to wait. The lady at the window, just sat at her desk. They need to hire at least one more person, being a tow company I know they make enough money. read more

Worst place to get your car towed to!! EVER!! They completely destroyed my bike, & they said it was like that when they picked it up. Lady that helped us or was rude read more

Would give zero stars if I could! Beware of the heavy person ( ugly overweight and has nasty 'blonde' roots can't even say lady because she didn't even act like one) she is mean, rude and frankly undeserving of a job considering how awful her attitude is/ was the day I dealt with her. She was so awful I literally had to scream my vin # at her at the top of my lungs (in a empty office) for her to respond sorry I didn't hear you with a smirk on her face. I said you didn't hear me I was screaming it out? Her "nope" I said don't you work in customer service? Because your attitude is horrible. No I just work at a tow truck yard. Ok well do you have a pen I will write my vin. Her response "what you can't see?" And slams the pen down to me. Ugh. ghetto, unprofessional and lastly, definitely should have been fired ages ago for her extremely poor attitude to customers and inability to work with the public. Only thing I am thankful for was the men pulling the cars out. So kind, quick and helpful. They deserve a raise and tips for being extremely helpful despite the lack of proper clerical office staff EDIT: can they just fire Fat ass rude Brenda already? 98% of the reviews here are because her miserable ass can't be a decent human and have even the most bare minimum customer service skills. Owners should take notice!! read more

Unlike most of the posts on this company, they were fast, efficient, AND my daughter's purse and all the items that was left in the car when it was impounded was still there! Kruger Tow was very helpful w/ regards to retrieving and stowing the personal items that were in my father's truck after it was towed here after an accident. Joe was very understanding of the situation and guided us through the proper protocol in getting our stuff back. I understand that a lot of things can be stolen when vehicles are in transit from tow yard to auto shop and they were under no obligation to secure our belongings. If this much care is given to people who have been in an accident I would believe the same would be true for their other services. Thanks, Joe and Kruger Tow! read more

1. I feel like they were the ones who stole the things inside my car. They first told me the battery was the only thing missing, and then all the interior was gone?? 2. The girl (big girl with the pink glasses I think she is latina) at the front is super rude. I understand they usually have to deal with angry people, but I was not yelling, being rude or disrespectful. I was just asking questions because I wa sin my right to get information about my car. I actually told her I was not mad and I understood it wasn't her fault but I wanted to be completely informed. The las question I asked she raised her voice and I asked her not to be rude because I was not being rude. Girl, you need to change that attitude. read more

service was very terrible from the second me and my mother walked in .Elderly lady named Terri i believe in particular was very rude . Everyone before us was spoken to with respect and as soon as it was us we just received a nasty attitude and were not even listened too after getting our vehicle wrongly towed which was cleared by the lapd.. on top of that damaged from them towing it the wrong way without no keys and rushing to get the new vehicle I got in front of my house to make a quick buck . Now my car which I'm suppose to drive my 1 year old son around in is not even starting ever since I got it out from them that I just bought a week ago and had no problems with prior.. We were racially discriminated from these people as was told "figure out your life and that we won't be helping you fix your car at all " all while speaking to everyone else in the room with respect that we're worst than us all cause we were black .beware coming here . Will see you guys in court . read more

I have to say I hate impound yards and they are slow as hell giving you back you car. But this place will try to work with you to make it a little better. My motorhome has been there three times and now my bmw but its not there doing it is the crooked carson sheriffs. These people are the ones that have people's cars taken for bs reasons and then charge you 200 for a piece of paper granting you permision to go pay to get your car out. What a scam that is. Last night I was in the unfortunate event of rolling my car and completely totaling it. It was late middle of the night and in no time at all Kruger tow was on scene and got my car to the tow yard. The very next day I was very worried coming to the tow yard knowing just how expensive tow yards can be; however coming in I was put to ease very quickly. Joe was very helpful and quick to help. He explained the whole process to me; being my car was totaled we were able to work on a deal where I was able to sell the remains to my car to him. I never imagined getting such great customer service from a tow yard. Fees were minimal and it really helped with this hard time . read more

Excellent service! Joe really went above and beyond to help me out. If you ever need a tow, call these guys!!

So I get here to take look at my car. They said there's a wait of 30 minutes because no one can take me out to see the car. Meanwhile workers coming in and out. Customer service sucks. I guess the workers are on a break? Why would the police dept have a contract with this place? Well, it is the city of Compton. Enough said. One more thing. They get one star because I couldn't leave it blank!! read more

If I could give them negative stars I would. No customer service skills at all. Rude girl behind the glass window. Just a total waste of of a human. Really if you don't like your job you have the choice to find another one. Don't take it out on people who clearly put food on your table. read more

WORST PLACE EVER!!!!!!! I feel sorry for you if you get your car towed here because it's nothing but problems from the get go. I had to actually yell through the glass to get someone to even acknowledge my presence as we walked in. The lady said someone would be right with me, and the girl who walked up (10 minutes later AFTER I had to knock on the window AGAIN) had the WORST ATTITUDE. She acted like I was burdening her to get MY car. Mind you, my car was stolen and I was there to recover it but she was treating me like some bum off the street. My biggest complaint would be the wait time as well as the bitch at the front desk. She was NOT helpful, and needs to reevaluate her life choices. read more

Joe got me my car fast and worked with me with the fees. I picked up my car same day no problem whatsoever.

I'd give 0 stars. Car was recently stolen, and was told by the sheriff that it was found and towed to this place. He claimed that it was a major strip. However, when I got here the employee who helped me informed me that ONLY the battery was missing. The employee did not allow me to check out the car and investigate the differences between what I was told by the sheriff and the employee. I was not allowed to investigate it myself. I had no choice but to pay for towing to get it back home. When I arrived home, my husband and I discovered that EVERYTHING was missing. The battery, back window, front tires, wipers, front windows, radiator, and stereo was stolen. The employee LIED to us just to get the towing service. wasted 200$ because of the lies we were told by the employee. Please stay away from this area. They are nothing but scam artists. read more
