Terry was fabulous !! You hear horrible things about towing services but I think it's all about employees individual personalities. Terry greeted us with a smile and her demeanor was great! She was all about helping and providing the necessary information. Please ask for Terry she will change your perception on * rude employees ". Terry you are Awesome!! Thanks for your assistance this morning. read more

Do not use this company at whatever cost! They will steal out of your car if it is towed here so don't keep anything of value in there. And the customer service is horrible. The lady that works in the office has a bad attitude even when you approach her with kindness. Horrible company to have to deal with. read more

Where do i begin... my husband called and went in person and both times he got horrible customer service . Our car got stolen I would have thought they would have more compassion. waited a while to be attended all the way to being done . Said the engine was blown which wasn't true at all Said it was undrivable and it ran once we had another tow truck help us take it out . They were making it seem like our car was junk and we don't need it . I read all the reviews and was worried on what I was going to walk into . read more

Horrible service and lied about the holding period if you ever get your car towed here the same day it was took it has a 15 day holding period to come collect the car or buy it for auction but after the 15 days they take it to the junkyard even with your personal belongings and this happened to me on September 8 and my car was took there August 24 and they were supposed to hold my car for 30 days until I can try to buy it back or not but they are unprofessional and need to go out of business. All I needed was to get the car in my name but all they did was tell me that it was no worth of value of my car but all it needed was a back bumper that needed replacing everything was top shape until they destroyed it for nothing. Do not trust these people at all unless you own the car in your name and have the money to get it out and before you do make sure they have someone ready to get your car these people shouldn't even work here and it's sad how they are only concerned about money instead of trying to help provide feedback read more

they told us we couldn't look at the car in person but she could take photos and show us... the photos of the car showed that the car was not totaled. she said the battery was gone but if we bought a battery it would run. we called a tow truck and paid to get the car out. when we got to the body shop we opened the hood to replace the battery.... the battery AND THE MOTOR WAS GONE!!!!!! SCAM ARTISTS work here. why would you tell me the car will run when you CLEARLY see there is no motor. you had to open the hood to see that the battery was missing. but you wanted to make a quick buck so you failed to mention that the FCKING MOTOR WAS MISSING TOO!!!!!!! trash. stealing from a. family with kids who needed their car back. i hope karma gets you where it hurts. read more

Illegal Withholding of Property & Attempted Title Extortion "Be warned: This company is currently a city contractor but operates in violation of California State Law. During my interaction, Kruger Towing refused to release my personal belongings unless I signed over the title to my vehicle. Under CVC § 22651.07, storage facilities are legally mandated to release personal property during business hours regardless of whether the tow fees have been paid. Not only did they ignore this statute to attempt extortion, but they eventually discarded my property onto the concrete outside their gate. If you are dealing with this yard, document everything and know your rights. Do not let them bully you into signing away your assets to get your belongings that are IN OR ON the vehicle a formal complaint has been filed with the Office of Inspector General regarding their conduct and the associated law enforcement response." read more

Please make sure you get your belongings BEFORE it is taken into the tow yard. If you cannot, take pictures and videos of everything. Do not trust what anyone at that shit box says. Once it's in the yard, you WILL NOT have access to it and there's one guy dumping your belongings in a trash bag that brings it out to you after an hour of waiting. They will go through your things and steal items that are untraceable (i.e cash, jewelry, laptops was fine as they can be tracked). It sucks when you get into an accident and these thieves are the first on the scene to tow your car. I would highly recommend going literally anywhere else if you want to avoid major headaches. If they give you a hard time about getting your personal items (which you are entitled to under state and federal laws), call the police and document with your insurance. The police know them pretty well and are tired with dealing with them. read more

Trash staffing. Don't want to listen to what you have to say and will talk over you when trying to explain. Rude and completely unprofessional. Just shut this place down. Thats just one person. The other staff members aren't trained enough to assist with needs from customers and will just send you back with no information. I repeat. Just shut it down. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. This towing company is not just unprofessional -- they are dishonest and unethical. After my vehicle was towed, I discovered that several of my personal belongings were missing from inside. When I contacted them to ask about the missing items, I was met with denial, evasiveness, and a complete lack of accountability. There was no proper documentation of what was in the vehicle at the time of the tow, no effort to resolve the issue, and certainly no apology. It's clear that this company does not respect people or their property. I strongly urge others to avoid this company if possible. If your vehicle ends up with them, take photos and inventory of your belongings immediately. And if you've had a similar experience, report it to the better business bureau -- no one should have to deal with this kind of violation. read more

My sister just needed to collect her belongings, however they made us wait 2 hours just for them to bring everything back in a trash bag. Lady said it would take 20-30 minutes. And they'll overcharge the hell out of you, and won't let you see your car in case you need to get pictures or anything. They go through all your stuff as well, stuff that was secured away in bags or boxes had all been taken out and separated. read more

Do not ever use this company it's unfortunate that the sheriffs are contracted with this company as they are the most disrespectful and rude people I have ever met. As I sat here and waited for my items for over an hour I came to see what was going on as I seen the one guy that was working in the back standing around right next to my car and could not go into my car and check for my items that I'm asking for I came to verify with the front desk what's going on if anyone can help me as my car was stolen and I needed assistance to get my items. A girl in the background named Terry like a miserable jackal and decided to heckle me and tell the woman who was helping me to walk away from me. Being so frustrated I ended up, leaving trying to call the sheriffs department to let them know that their contractor tow company is disrespectful does not help the people and of course they do not help as well. If you are looking for a tow for your personal cars do not use them. If I were you please ensure that you asked the sheriff to not use them as well. I would give them a -10 unfortunately that is not an option. Next step ensure they lose their contract From the sheriffs .. customer service should Still be #1 read more

I received mail that a car I previously owned was towed and was going up for sell . I called to get more information to make sure I'm not liable since I'm being contacted about the car . The worst representative answered saying she was the manager she was extremely rude . It's always about customer service I wasn't being rude I was just trying to make sure I wasn't responsible or if so make arrangements to get the car . I never been in this situation so I was being truthful and acquiring about why I received two different notices . She was so rude and hung up on me twice . People that hate their job should not work in customer service . I will never recommend this tow yard . She deserves to be reviewed because if it's ok to be disrespectful to customers for no reason then you shouldn't have a job . She needs help you can tell she's miserable ! Tammy , Sam whatever the name is go seek help because you're miserable. read more

This place is worse than the idiots that stole my car to begin with. I called my local police station and was told I needed a release form, went to CHP was told I didn't need due to being a victim of crime. Asked for one anyway. Got to tow yard and Sam the girl at the counter was rude in asking for paper work. I told her, I was the victim here. No kind of care or apology from Sam. I paper work to save more of a hassle. She then told me it would be $1155.!!! I of course flipped out and questioned. I asked why were not notified?? My car was stolen on a Monday morning, I reported asap. My car was found by CHP at 12:45pm then towed to Kruger Tow at 1:45pm. All on the same day of incident. I received no phone call,no text, nor email. I did 1 week later receive a letter via snail mail aka old fashion postal delivery. Sam said they didn't have my information nor was it her responsibility. I asked how did you get my address? No reply. After deciding to just pay and get my car, she informs me that either ATM or credit card I will be charged 3%. Now bill is $1165. Overwhelmed, I paying and Sam asked if I was getting it towed!? I'm confused because police report had no damages or reason my car wasn't drivable. She says the catalytic converters (my car has 2) are gone. I replied I'm calling AAA. They bring my car out on a forklift!! When AAA gets there, they drivers ask why I'm not driving. I tell him and he looks and say nothing is missing!!!!! WTF!!! He says they are known for lying so customers leave their cars and they auction them off. WTF kind of people take advantage of people who already are in a difficult situation? If anyone else has had issues with Kruger Tow I suggest you report. They need to be shut down! If I could put "negative stars" I would!!! read more

Yelp asks what can improve. I say, either they re staff completely or shut the whole place down. The inconsideration of employees towards customers is through the roof. Not only them but that includes their managers. Entitled rude and unable to comprehend simple procedures. I wish I could explain my whole experience but let's just say they do not care about whoever owns this business and as we can all see the two stars on yelp don't lie. The owner needs to do a house cleaning of this place/ rehire with courteous caring employees. It's such a shame, customers coming here are already dealing with so much after such incidents for than to have to deal with illiterates. Had to wait for for an hour to retrieve my things, questioned another team member and he relayed no one notified them of that, the other employee that talked to us had also left for the day, tried explaining it to the person in charge and she completely shut me down and walked away. read more

This place is full of LIARS and THIEVES, when I got my car out my charger where missing my sun glasses where gone I had paper in there that where also gone. The same day that I took my car out I noticed that the wheel lock key was missing and I called to let them know so I can get them back but they try lying by saying that the wheel lock key was in a bag with all my belongings, there was no bag in the truck of my car like they said there was. The people are very rude inconsiderate, this company violates the law I've had my veichel towed by this company and they violate the law. By law if you get to your veichel before they actually tow it they are supposed to let you pay half of what they would normally pay if they tow it away. Well I got their while the sheriffs were there and they broke the law with the policy holders which is the sheriffs, and the "sheriffs instead of upholding the law they broke the law themselves and threatened to arrest me if continued asking the tow truck driver to put down my car. Los Angeles is so corrupt and these businesses along with them. read more

Absolute scam artist. Reported our stolen car as malfunctioned. Fucking trash. Once the car was out it works fine. Fuck this place.

My car was blocking a neighbors driveway by a few inches and she called the police station to tow my car. After paying to have the car released from the police station, we went to Kruger Tow to get my car back. They charged a holding fee for $57 tho the car was only there for a few hours. I understand everyone needs to make more money. But someone smoked a cigarette in my car and also went thru everything in my glove compartment, very unprofessional. We're they looking for something to steal? I have no idea. Wouldn't recommend this spot. read more

Rude and did not help at all. Our car got stolen, and a little kindness would go a long way. They said one thing was wrong with the car the next day there was more things wrong with it. Suspicious? I think so. If you get your car towed here be aware. And be vigilant. read more

Understandable this place would have multiple poor reviews since they work for the police and impound cars but when I tell you this is the worst tow yard ever I mean it. They are rude, nasty, and high-tempered. They speak in a condescending tone and do not take the time to help with anything. I was trying to speak to the woman at the front desk and she would not even come to the window to speak to me she yelled at me from her desk. And not to mention through my money in my face. I get that this is a reasonably difficult job to do as the majority of people coming to you are unpleasant but if someone is being respectful to you you should be respectful to them as well. I would ask that everyone that works at this place take a seminar on communication with others/how to effectively communicate in the work place. read more
