J&J roofing came back with a quote that was half as expensive as the other company. Not only were we able to quickly schedule a cleaning, but the crew also that arrived was fantastic. They arrived right at the scheduled time, laid down tarps to cover my garden and did a fantastic job. I really appreciated that they took the extra time to clean up the bits a debris that came off the roof. We plan to have them return in the fall to install guards on our gutters and again next spring for a cleaning or at least an inspection. I've already referred them to our neighbors as well. Kudos to J&J Roofing for a job well done and we really appreciate them taking the time to respond with a quote, they landed a loyal customer.

We met with David Shore from High Point Gutter after initially meeting with Leaf Guard and Leaf…read moreFilter representatives. Initially, we thought we only needed gutter filters because our house is surrounded by fir and cedar trees. Leaf Guard would replace our gutters with their gutters and filters--that's all--for $25K! Leaf Filters wouldn't replace our gutters at all and install their filters in our existing 25 year old gutters for $16K. David Shore, who is a gutter expert/owner and not a company who is selling filters, explained that they would replace our gutters with the proper size (original ones were too small), add missing counter flashing between the roofing and the new gutters (very important!), new down spouts, new filters (of course), and add in several places "valley diverters" that would direct rain water into the gutters rather than creating a waterfall over the edges. Lastly, they spread moss killer on the whole 2-story, steep roof. Total price $16K and well worth it! Dave, the gutter expert not just a filter salesman, knew what our house needed and where to spend our money. Their expert installers, Cody and Daniel, completed the project in two days and each day they completely cleaned the entire work area with a magnet wheel, leaf blower as well as cutting up and hauling away the old gutters and downspouts. We would never have found this fantastic company if we hadn't gone to our local Home Depot pro shop where they referred us to High Point. If you are looking for new gutters and/or filters, go to HD and ask about High Point! Done!

I contacted this company to address a single noisy downspout. I received multiple quotes, and…read moretheirs was by far the highest -- more than three times what other companies quoted. They provided two separate estimates: one for the noisy downspout and another for a basic cleaning. When I asked why the estimate for the downspout was so high, I received a text from the estimator, Evan, saying that I was "not the right fit" for the company, complete with a smiley face emoji. The interaction came across as very passive-aggressive. I then attempted to schedule ONLY the basic cleaning (a separate estimate), because the project manager had not indicated that I was not allowed to do so, and I continued to receive automated reminders via text and email to schedule it. Then, Evan followed up with a passive-aggressive email, also complete with a smiley face emoji, continuing the interaction unnecessarily. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company.

I have a metal roof and gutters with gutter guards. They company that used to do an excellent job on my roof (I'll call them "JB") is a janitorial firm that appears to no longer do roofs. I called AA based on reviews and explained that my roof was quite dirty with pollen and was clear with them it was metal. They said they would come and blow the roof off and see what else could be done. They did NOT come right out and say they could not clean up pollen. They quoted me a price lower than the previous company had been charging, so I scheduled the work about three weeks out. The tech came out late in the afternoon, spent a LOT of time looking around and talking to the office and then told me that they could only blow debris off. To do a wash would take two people a full day and cost around $2,000. Sorry, that's NOT going to happen! I said go ahead and blow the roof off, there was plenty of Douglas fir cones and other debris that needed to come off anyway. The work was fine for what it was, though there's still a mess of pollen up there. I would have preferred that they just say "we don't clean metal roofs because you won't be happy with the results."

Also some cheaper roofing company wont have warranty or they will offer a shorter duration. Just make sure you check your attic during storms. We are all human and we can make mistakes. 4 months after installation, my roof is leaking. Its located in the same spot where it was fixed so a coincidence. A bad nail can do it and it was a light drip leak . I was only able to catch it because I placed 1 security camera on the ground outside for rodents and noticed a wall leak. I reached out on December 18 right before the holidays and got it fixed/patched up on Jan 15. I want to add Martin, the roofer, is an awesome worker. He came to the job engaged and with a positive attitude. Extremely knowledgable and went right to work. No messing around. He embodies what I envision North Creek Roofing company to be. Hard working roofer that just want to get it fix the right way. He seemed to really care about the issue and worked his tail off alone with no help. So a huge shout out to him if he ever reads this. I should have discontinued my engagement with this company with the AI encounter, because the estimator's visit was a painful waste of time. I have never encountered the level of hard selling I experienced with this visit from any other contractor. Speaking of signing a contract, they offered a significant discount for those who sign up on the spot.
