Another wanted Medium and got Medium Rare. Someone else wanted mac salad and got mac&cheese. Someone got a burger and it was blackened! I ordered medium buffalo wings and the sauce didn't taste right at all. Same for the blue cheese/ranch/i don't even know because taste was so off! Plus wings were also overdone. 1hr wait time and I get they were busy - we were chatting during this time as well. Noise volume was ok and not really has changed throughout the years but definitely might need a new chef. Also saw the kitchen violations - should've checked the seating too. One of us almost got hurt due to a broken chair. Someone else had a wobbly chair as well.

Nice atmosphere sitting there watching the boat traffic go by and the main street bridge go up and down. They have several tables inside if the weather isn't cooperating to sit outside. They just can't get it right!!! Every time you go in here you don't know if it will be the best you've ever tasted or the worst. When you say something about the quality of the food they always have an excuse, (new help, just training), if you complain that they got your order wrong it always the same excuses. If your people aren't trained don't let them wait on people or make food. How can you order the same thing 3 times in a row and get raw one time, burned the second time and great the next? When you complain they say "well you should have ordered it this way". So you order it that way the next time and it's not right and when you complain to someone else they say "no no you should have ordered it this way". The owner really need to take a look at the quality of the food that they are serving because even though they are the best in Hamlin (there really is nowhere else to go) people won't keep coming back at those prices for subpar food. I have tried to leave comments on the company web site in hope that the owner will see them but it doesn't accept feedback. read more

My daughter and I recently enjoyed a pizza day at Krony's Pizza in Hamlin, and it was absolutely fantastic! The clean and fun environment made it such a pleasant place to relax and enjoy a meal together. I have to say, my last visit wasn't too pleasant, but they've improved a lot since then. The customer service is definitely better, with friendly and attentive staff, and the food has also stepped up to a whole new level. The pickle pizza was a highlight--wonderfully unique, perfectly cooked, and absolutely delicious. We also ordered the Greek salad, which is consistently fresh and bursting with flavor. Honestly, it's better than any salad I've had at other restaurants. They truly have a way of making it stand out! To top it off, they even have wine available, which adds a nice touch to the dining experience. Krony's has really turned things around, and it's now a local gem. I highly recommend it for a casual yet exceptional meal. We'll definitely be back! read more

Great wings, though sometimes they're cooked too long and are really hard. Buffalo sauce has great flavor. Sandwiches are crap. Stick with the pizza and wings. If you dine in they offer free refills which is a plus. The portions on the fries and onion rings are super tiny, though they taste pretty good. read more

We saw them making the pizza and subs fresh, and we also observed a lot of other diners, some regulars, enjoying their food and the conversation with the staff. Everyone was friendly and happy. We took our order back to where we were staying and dug into the pizza. It was a little salty for my personal taste buds, but not my husband's - he really loved the flavors. I was impressed with the crust - which is always a mark of a good pizza in my book. I would get this again, but would ask for something like a side of ranch or blue cheese to help cut the saltiness. Later that same day we ate the subs. The turkey sub was easily - seriously - the BEST turkey sub I had had in a very long time. Maybe ever. The fresh-roasted turkey, the fresh fillings - lettuce, tomato, cheese, onion, and the Italian dressing - all were the perfect flavor profiles and amounts. The whole sammy was well balanced, so no one ingredient dominated. We had ordered a large, again, with left overs in mind, and cut it into pieces. I added mayo, and just thought it was moist, really tasty, and total comfort food. I would drive across the city to get that sub again. Pictured here is the pizza; by the time we at the subs I forgot to take more pics! Couple other notes: Pizza Chef is in a plaza where there is plenty of parking. They sell soda in a case as well as ice cream, and have quite a large menu that includes wraps, sandwiches and subs (hot and cold), lots of different signature pizzas plus a breakfast pizza and options to build-your-own, plus a variety of fried sides like fries, onion rings, mozzarella sticks, jalapeno poppers, etc. They also have wings and salads. Definitely check them out if you haven't already. And get that turkey sub. You won't regret it!
