I filled up at this Kroger Fuel Center on my way to nearby Sugar Hill Golf Club. It was fine. This Kroger is located on Georgia State Route 20, also known as Cumming Highway on this stretch, near Suwanee Dam Road. There's a Publix across the street. This Kroger Fuel Center has 14 pumps. It's one of the larger Kroger Fuel Centers I've come across. Since they're adjacent to grocery stores, Kroger Fuel Centers don't have full-fledged convenience stores. Instead, they have kiosks that sell a more limited selection of items like snacks, drinks, ice, cigarettes, and lottery tickets. Kroger Fuel Centers have reasonable gas prices after Kroger Plus Card discount. You earn 1 fuel point for every $1 you spend at Kroger. You can then save $0.10 per gallon for every 100 fuel points you redeem. Kroger Fuel Points are a nice, free benefit. Boost members earn double fuel points, but pay a membership fee (Plus is free). You can view your Kroger Fuel Points balance using the Kroger app. If you're having trouble scanning your Kroger Plus Card barcode at the gas pump (I've never been able to get the digital barcodes on my phones to scan), enter your Alternate ID using the keypad. If you don't have an Alternate ID, you can create one using the Kroger app -- go to your Plus Card and tap "View Card Details." Once scanned/entered, prices at the pump automatically drop. During my visit on an ordinary Saturday around 11:20am, this place was busy. I'd return if I needed gas in this area again. read more

Absolutely abysmal. The Kroger card deals never ring up correctly. They have no cashiers, just automated check outs, so you end up going to customer service to wait in an endless line to get your $1.75 back or leave angry. Impossible to pop in for one or two things quickly. I hate this Kroger. read more

So I go to Kroger today, mind you it's Thanksgiving week and they only have self checkouts available. Normally not a problem but these aren't accepting cash. I asked the employee to come over and take me to his manned register so that I don't hold up the line and I'm greeted with "what's up"? I said sir I'm a customer and that's definitely not how you have approached everyone else, why am I getting this greeting? "He said I won't deal with your hostility and I'm not ringing you up"! I asked for the manager on duty who instructed me to go back to him and that he would ring me up. I go back and he walks say a few times and then comes back and proceeds to ring my stuff up, putting it back into a basket on the floor. He tells me the total and I ask, aren't you going to bag my stuff up? He tells me to do it, so I responded I'm a paying customer that you just rang up, I don't work here and I'm not doing that, you are! He then bags my stuff leaving them on the floor (yes I have video proof)! Kroger you need to pull up my spend in this exact store and Kroger overall for the last 9 years and decide if this is what you want in your Suwanee location going forward. Doug and a few other members are the best! I feel management is leaning WAY too much on their front line to delegate their tasks. Bring in cashiers. Management , answer your phone calls! Tonight there were 22 people in line when I walked in the door... one cashier handling the self checkout. I spent over 15 minutes in line to only check out on my own... it's gotten ridiculous. WORST PHARMACY I've been to in town. 1. I was not greeted 2. Wait in line was longer then a half an hour standing waiting to be helped. 3. Untrained staff, aren't able to configure payments appropriately. Three associates were standing there trying to figure out a simple insurance issue on the computer and couldn't help me. I overheard a Kroger hiring Spv belittle a woman in front of everyone who came in for a job. This hiring person Shirley was so nasty to that woman and she was representing KROGER??? tf that's the type of management you have at Kroger I don't want to work there AT ALL for any price. I've been here a million times, and today was not a good experience. First, they didn't have the item I wanted in stock. Second, I went to get a fountain drink, as they have a fountain drink station near the produce. This area of the store was absolutely filthy. It's a cold and windy Wednesday night, meaning the store was absolutely dead. The area was covered in a sticky unidentified sludge. I had to find a bathroom immediately, to wash my hands after touching this counter. If I wanted a milkshake, their inventory was nil. Get it together, Kroger! Clean your store! read more

Horrible Click List service. I drive all the way to the one in Suwanee because the sugar hill location is notorious for just not bringing your groceries out when you check in to pick them. The cashier had attitude and was unwilling to help with the digital coupon which loaded on my number but still didn't come up on the register. I asked multiple times and when I said I was taking the cheese off she said she would fix it. Kroger cheese was on sale for $0.99 each The cashier, Irma, went back to the register and said she was taking the discount off. However, the price did not change. After further examination on the receipt I saw that she didn't do anything. Does she think I am stupid? Now I am just a pissed off customer that will no longer shop there! There is always a huge line to get out. They rarely have regular checkouts open, and they expect you to self checkout large orders in self checkout. The man that runs self checkout that looks like Santa Claud is very rude and unhelpful. I will take my business across the street to Publix where the service and atmosphere are night and day. This krogers very clearly hates its customers, it's one thing to be constantly understaffed but don't take it out on the customers. I'll start by saying this isn't about any one Kroger. They pretty much all suck. I swear the way their stores are organized is just counter intuitive. I can walk in a publix and 9 out of 10 times go straight to what I'm looking for. I'd estimate that 7 of every 10 visits to Kroger I wind up wandering the aisles because things aren't where logic would dictate they should be. I'm not the only one. On at least 2 other occasions I've heard other customers commenting on how poorly the store is laid out. I go there because their produce seems maybe a little better IF, and it's a big IF they have bothered to stock the shelves. Half the time the produce shelves are mostly bare. Kroger just sucks. Massive! Clean! In-stock! Great meat department! Great beer selection! Plenty of open check out lanes! I was looking for some ground beef to make hamburgers at a cookout I was attending later. The meat department clerk noticed I didn't see what I was looking for (I hadn't been standing there long). He said "you're looking for the 2 pounds aren't you?" Nailed it! He pulled out a 2 pound package of ground beef out of a box, labeled it, and I was on my way. Saved me a buck. read more

This Kroger always has meat, specifically ground turkey that is rotten or near rotten on the shelf. Every time I come into this location I bet I can find rotten meats for sale! This is for the pharmacy staff and specifically Amanda! I had a very important medication that was needed to be filled and there was an issue order from doctor. they went out of there way to call the doctor to get permission to fill it for me but also found a location that had it in stock for me ok a Saturday! all while being slammed with customers and short staffed. I've alwhas dreaded dealing with pharmacies because they never seem to care about you and your needs but not this location. I will definiey being using them from now on and highly recommend them! friendy and compassionate staff. 5 stars! read more

Kroger used to be a 5, but recently have made some changes which included completely rearranging the entire store, which was frustrating to deal with at first, but now that it's completed, will simply take used to knowing where everything is now. The reason they have dropped to a 3, in my opinion, is because I've had to bag my own groceries the last four times I've visited Kroger. I'm not talking about a few things. These are four full buggy weekly visits on different days of the week at different times of the day. I'm not one of those customers that can simply stand there and let the groceries pile up and allow the cashier to do it all. The store manager was walking by one of those visits and I mentioned my concerns with lack of baggers. She smiled and said "OK' and kept walking by while I was bagging my own groceries. Not hard to tell where the problem starts. Unfortunate, because it's a great store to shop, prices are great and the employees are friendly. They simply are not properly staffed. I'm hoping this is a temporary thing, and doesn't continue. If so, I may have to start shopping at Publix again. read more

I would like to start off first commending the brave men and women working at the store to ensure items for essential livelihood are stocked and the store is operational for the general public to maintain a semblance of normalcy during these trying times. That being said I need to bring to the management's attention on areas that can use some improvement. First of all, stores such as your establishment should have set measures from the start to control the hoarding and depletion of supplies such as toilet tissue, paper towels, disinfectant cleaners and sanitizers. I never see any paper products on the shelves regardless of the time of day or day of the week I visit this location. Secondly, have you briefed your staff about the importance of "social distancing"? Two incidences occurred with an encounter with a member of your staff that aggravated me to no end all. I know during these times of stress and anxiety you may have asked your staff to be extra friendly, but please don't assume that's ok or acceptable behavior for everyone. It took everything for me to refrain from being hostile towards those particular staff members. One was a young male sweeping the floors and wanted to strike up a conversation with me to compliment a logo I had on my shirt. Really?! Secondly, I purposely go to self check out to minimize my interaction with another person respecting social distancing recommendations by the healthcare authorities, but the clerk at one of your check out stations in her attempt to help me made matters worse and was touching items in my cart that I did not care for her to touch! Irregardless of her wearing gloves, how do I know she didn't touch something from another person's cart that may have coughed or sneezed on his or her stuff earlier irregardless of whether that other customer was asymptomatic or not. By your clerk touching my cart items without changing her gloves which I'm sure hasn't from her last interaction she had just committed cross contamination! Sometimes less is more so I regret allowing your clerk to help me so for future reference if your customer does not explicitly ask for help please remind your staff to kindly refrain and respect the personal bubble even more imperative these days. In this respect, why have you not erected the clear plexiglass sneeze guards to protect your clerks as well as your customers at the regular check out lanes? This has already been standard practice I thought since it's been on the news over a week ago. Your delay in action only perpetuates the problem with the rising numbers of cases of afflicted victims of coronavirus. I hope this brings awareness of the magnitude and severity of the situation if you choose not to heed these recommendations and common sense practices to ensure both your staff and your customers stay safe and well. WOW! I don't usually get this excited about grocery stores. This store however was amazing. It is obviously new (not sure when it opened). They had the standard grocery store stuff and so much more: cheese section branded by Murray's cheese (a fancy Greenwich Village cheese shoppe), fresh baked breads (not just french bread either), olive bar, an entire section dedicated to ethnic foods, HUGE section of kitchen gadgets and appliances (you can buy a kitchen aid mixer and a mini fridge here), and hot, prepared foods. I was even impressed with their cold deli salads. Many stores cold salads look forsaken and sad. These looked delish! The signage in the aisles was like no other. They had the standard end-of-aisle signs but then smaller signs were throughout the aisle indicating each section within the aisle. The store was not just well-stocked and shiny; the staff was awesome too. The gal running the floral department gave my little girl a balloon with enthusiasm often reserved for Chic-fil-a employees. Lee, behind the customer service counter, also impressed. My cashier, also a STAR! I can't say enough great things about this store. I can see myself passing up the 2-3 Krogers that are closer to my house to make it out to this one. read more

AND IT IS KROGER AT SUGAR HILL FOR THE WIN!!!!! WOW! This Kroger is the business. It is so much more than a grocery store, it is an experience. I am so tired of seeing Kroger stores that are being updated at warp speed while my local store is stuck in the land of regret. If I really want to shop, I have to go to one of two r stores not too far away, but why should I have to do that when I have an option close by. Just update my store already!! Come on! Sometimes, I think that I just stop at random stores to check and see if they are better than mine and of course they are. Today, I really needed to buy some things so in I go. Ugggh!! It was so cool! It wasn't enough that it was clean, organized and well stocked with fresh and healthy looking produce and proteins, but it also had a great, extended bakery section, an impressive olive bar, and hot foods that were varied and tempting. Not to totally stab me in heart, the green beans on the hot bar were still green and vibrant!! What? I have never seen bright green beans on a Kroger hot bar, it just doesn't happen. They are usually Italian cut and more of that dull dried out khaki green. Moving on. As we continued on our journey, I noticed that they were decorative touches, (metal art, paintings, decor) along the back wall, (much like you would decorate your own home). Over the dairy case, there were three large paintings of cows in a field. Really? As we are walking to the registers my husband looks down and says even the floors are nice! He's right, this is not your standard flooring and it is impeccably clean! Ugggh! If only I can get through the check out without another envy attack; it was not going to happen because at the registers I notice that they actually have cute lighting fixtures instead of those usual harsh, stark lights that are totally boring and non-descript. So cool and classy. Check out goes well and customer service is A-ok. As I exit the store into the carpeted foyer with the forced cool air hitting my face, I can only sigh, because sometimes life is just not fair! Ugggggggggggggggggg! I always shop at Kroger and the employees are really nice! However the reason I will give them 4 stars instead of the full 5 is the dumb store rearrangement. I can't find anything anymore! It's always a hassle to have to ask, or search around. Also I feel like the placement of some items are completely random/odd. This Kroger is one of the reasons we loved moving into our neighborhood. So in love with this supermarket! I guess it's a pretty new place but I'm blown away at how nice it is. Immediately when you walk in there is a huge floral section and a Starbucks. The organic section is nicely sized and the deli and bakery are just adorable. They have a soup and salad station and so many different types of good cheeses and stuff. There is a sushi bar too! Everyone there is so friendly and helpful. Also they have a HUGE appliance and kitchen-things section! Bought a salad spinner there today. I am so impressed with this Kroger. Shopping here is always a great experience. read more

This review is specifically for the pharmacy. I went to fill my prescription as I do faithfully every 90 days. The manager Amanda Luke accused me of falsifing my prescription eventhough I had filled my prescription there several times before. Not to mention, I've been on this medication for over 10 years. She immediately had a very judgmental and accusing tone in her voice only because She couldn't get a hold of my doctor to verify my prescription right at that moment. She told me to go to Publix and maybe they can help me. That must mean I'm trying to pull a fast one in her. PLEASE! I have never seen Amanda before and I'm assuming she must be newly out of school. If she's going to offend people and accuse people of cheating or falsifing prescriptions without any grounds - Amanda needs to get off her high horse and go back to school. Amanda Luke is an inexperienced pharmacist who is quick to jump to her feet to judge and accuse a situation with her closed mind only because she's not familiar with the medication. Consistently inconsistent. No communication when they are out of your medication. Lack of respect for the customer's time. There reorder system is not accurate. The past 3 months when I have requested refills on my prescriptions, the pick up time has been 6+ hours away (and all during open hours) yet the prescriptions are never ready. In fact, they were out of 1/2 of mine yet had failed to tell me. If you are looking for consistent customer service, this is not where you will find it. read more

Don't concern yourself with appointment times at the Little clinic for your COVID vaccines, it's first come first serve no matter if the person in front of you is checking in 20 minutes early for his appointment and you are 5 minutes early for yours, they will take them before you. I understand I am in Georgia so Mexican sauces and drinks is gonna be small when compared to Texas where I was visiting from. Jalapeños were out of stock that day. Very limited produce selection, and not much help from staff. One thing I was shocked was that they didn't have Claude Brisket Marinade!! It's an American brand and wal mart had it!! Maybe Georgia doesn't really make brisket...but either way it's an excellent sauce. I guess since I was visiting a small town the selection on even produce is gonna be small compared to our Texas HEB markets where everything can be found there. Publix had more but not much better. Great Kroger. They are the biggest Kroger that I know of period. They usually have great prices and stock is usually filled. They do have wifi. There's a Starbucks, they have a decent organic/natural section if you care about all that. The service has always been good too. too there's one lady in particular, mira, who is always so helpful. read more

Call me a weirdo but I love going to the grocery store. With that being said, this Kroger is the one for me. Located right in Sugar Hill, it's close and convenient for me. I'm not the grocery shopper that goes on Sunday to buy for the week, I enjoy going almost everyday. With plenty of parking to be had, I usually stop in after hitting the LA fitness next door. All the employees are very friendly and willing to answer any questions you have. The produce is always stocked and appears fresh. Do yourself a favor and use the self check out and say hello to the Santa looking gentleman. Bonus- there's a Starbucks in this Kroger. Coming from being a patron of the Kroger off of Howell mill, trust me, this is one heck of an upgrade. read more

Kroger's pharmacy is so slow. There's been 1 car at the drive-up window for over 10 minutes. I came inside instead and only 2 people in front of me but took them over 5 minutes just to get to the first person. I might as drove over to CVS in Cumming. read more
