I completed an online pickup order. When I arrived to get my items, over half my order was missing. Of course I didn't notice this until I had already gotten home. I'm ok with a few things missing but how do you run out of milk and pasta sauce? I went back to the store to retrieve my items and low and behold, the exact milk and pasta sauce I bought was there. I will also say, I've never had a bad experience at Kroger with customer service until I visited this one. I've had so many cashiers that don't speak, don't make eye contact and don't interact period. If I wanted this I would just go to Walmart. Back to Target for me. read more

Extremely disappointing and very frustrating to shop here. Items are not stocked, expiring/stale food (not by days but by weeks), clueless employees, managers that don't know how to run their departments.... Today, i had to wait 25 minutes for help. That is after 2 times at the customer service desk and once trying to get the store manager's attention. They finally sent someone over who had an attitude and did not get the order right. I will be delighted when HEB comes to town so I do not have to step foot into this Kroger again. read more

So frustrating to shop here. I've been shopping here for 3 years and I'm done with it. Lines are always 4-6 people deep. Serious lack of urgency w the checkers even with their line 5 people deep. They need to cut out the chitchat and get through the line of customers that are getting fed up with them standing around, talking. No baggers. Saturday afternoon and 1 person working the deli counter. That line was 5 people deep and the self service area for deli meat was empty. I can understand short staffed but when the staff you do have shows no concern or urgency to get customers through the line, it's unacceptable. I'll go to McKinney or Frisco just to avoid the frustration. read more

Was so excited to have a grocery store in town but I am continually disappointed in this Kroger and am now going back to Market Street in Frisco for most of my shopping. This store is out of at least 2 things that I need every time I shop here. It is not the same things everytime either. Very few friendly employees and have had multiple rude and indifferent ones. There is always a line to check out and often have had no bagger available. Yesterday's experience was the final straw. I Purchased an Ulta gift card As a gift during my weekly shopping trip. Don't know what made me check but I'm glad I did to make sure that it was activated only to find that it wasn't. Took the card and my receipt and went to customer service the next day only to be told by a surly employee named Patricia that she couldn't help me. She seem to not believe me that it wasn't activated. She told me I'd have to deal with Ulta to get it fixed. I called Ulta and after being on hold for a while was told since I did not purchase it from them they could not help me. Went back in and asked to speak to the manager. Patricia called the manager and very rudely said on the phone "I don't know she wants to talk to you I told her". I'm standing right there I can hear you hello! Manager comes up and tells me they can't activate my card and gives me an 800 number to call. At this point I'm totally frustrated, this is not my fault why am I having to do all the work to fix it. No apologies at all given. So I called the number and they were able to look up my transaction from my receipt number and the digits of the gift card and guess what it was not activated when the cashier scanned it. So I was told I had to go back to the store and have the store call them and then they would activate my card at the store. So I go back and the same person is at the counter and I told them what I was told when I called the 800-number. She didn't even call them back she just activated the card on the spot. So that tells me they could've activated it all that time instead of giving me the runaround. I did finally get a half hearted apology but I am officially done with this store. They have NO idea what service is. Can't wait until they open the Market Street store. read more

I rarely order on line pick up from Kroger's, the last time I did on line pick from Kroger's was the last, not a good experience, on that day I went into the store to find the thing they said they were out of and I found what the said they were out of, normally I do my own shopping because of the stress of pick up orders. I am over 65 and I thought I would try on line pick from them once again to help keep me from shopping due to the pandemic. I went to pick up my groceries today, when I got home and started putting them away I notice that some of my groceries where missing and was quite upset, I called their pick up department and explained what had happened and they commented that carry out person may have forgotten to put all my order together, they said they would call me later so I could pick them up, also I was given subtitled, I had requested them not to do. Now how long will it before I get the rest of my groceries that I already paid for. This on line order pick up is more an inconvenience than convenient. read more

Love that Prosper finally has it's own Grocery Store. It's very convenient. One HUGE Complaint I continue to have is.....PLEASE TRAIN YOUR BAGGERS! Most of them are atrocious. They don't respect the fact that you have carefully chosen your products to find them tossing them haphazardly sideways, or upside down into the bags squishing produce, bread, chips etc. or overloading to extreme heaviness. Rediculous, it's NOT that hard people! Please take more care, we have to EAT this stuff eventually. read more

This store makes me crazy! NOT MY FAVORITE. First the lay out is ridiculous. The way the have staged everything made narrow spaces everywhere to you're constantly running into everyone or they are running into you. Also, I just called to see if they had a certain item before I came up there. I had to call 4 times and still I never got the dairy department. Jane the lady at self checkout was very rude. She was on her phone when my machine said "assistance needed" I said ma'am nicely, she looked at me and continued on her phone until she was done then walked over to help. She checked my ID which states my age is clearly over 21 but bc it was expired she couldn't accept it when I've used this same ID every single time I come into Kroger. I'm happy it was brought to my attention it was expired bc even the cop that pulled me over 2 weeks ago did not bring it to my attention. I live across the street so you I can image I come here often. I told her not to worry about the wine and that I didn't care that much and she continued to make comments and telling other customers about me. I continued to be nice and speak calmly until she felt she was my mother and needed to make comments. I then said you are not my mom and she said well you're acting like a child. The moment I asked for her help I knew the type of person I was dealing with so I was not surprised by this... I won't pull the black and white card but it was clear why she was rude. The lady next to me came to speak to me once she walked out and agreed Janes behavior was poor, unprofessional and rude. Why is it so hard to keep the parking lot looking clean? I understand if this happened once or twice or if this store was over 10 years old and the neighborhood was over built or this store was crazy busy all the time but none of those are the case. This store has been opened for only 2 years, it's never crazy busy, and this is how the parking lot looks every single time we come here. I know they hire people specifically to clean up the carts in the parking lot and if I was the manager this would be one area I would focus on because if your store looks like crap on the outside then what does that say about how you keep the food on the inside. It's to the point that we don't stop here anymore and instead, drive another 15 mins away to go to another Kroger because they care how their store looks like on the outside as much as the inside. I was disappointed in the lack of vegan products. Some tofu but no almond cream cheese or alternatives and worst of all I brought home gnats from the produce Dept. I went back and mentioned the gnats to the produce guy and showed him where they were and next time gnats were still there. No more produce for me from them. Online pickup is horrible. Customer service even worse. More than half of my online pickup orders have been delayed for hours past their original pickup time. The last time I went to pick up, I sat waiting for more than 30 minutes after check in. There was no one in front of me. I tried multiple times to call someone inside the store but they never picked up. I called the main store number to explain the situation and was treated with complete disrespect by the front desk, which made me even angrier. I finally got out of my car and walked over to loading area. Had to fight to get manager's attention. I think they would have ignored me all day otherwise. Manager was ignorant and apathetic and made no attempt to help. Cherry on top: they charged my card for this order that wasn't ready and never picked up. I never complain but the rudeness and disrespect in this Kroger is appalling . Numerous times I've tried to get cold-cuts. The staff in that area is rude. Especially this one man. He is making all this cold cuts for the case. I'm standing there for 10 min and I finally say is anyone gonna help me? He is like I'm here by myself. I can't help you. Another produce purchase in the trash!!Bought 5 organic grapefruits and ALL were spoiled inside! Purchased yesterday and tried to eat today. Was doing self checkout and a lady working there was watching my every move although there were others checking out while I was with my daughter and wife. We decided to not buy some mints that were in our basket, so I put them away. When we finished checking out, the lady asked me what about paying for the mints. I told her I put them away and she said show me where you put them away. So I walked over and showed her and she said okay and walked away. She was accusing me of stealing the mints and didn't say sorry or explain herself in anyway. Never had that happen to me since I have been here, but they are not going to win over more customers doing that. Also, I really like the fresh squeezed orange juice, but it's been out. I have lived in Prosper for 6 years and I was thrilled when Kroger on Preston Rd. finally opened near me. A few years later, they even offered Clicklist curbside pickup. At first, it was fantastic but the last 9 months has been horrible!! Each week continues to become more of a hassle and time sucker than a convenience or a time saver! The new Clicklist Manager, Kaylynne is very nice and helpful but I have a feeling, is very nice and tries hard to be part of the solution. However, I believe she gets zero internal support! My order is usually screwed up every week, they are constantly out of stock on standard items and I end up having to go inside the store which defeats the entire purpose of curbside service and saving time! But today, I waited 34 minutes to even get my groceries brought to the car! And of course their substitutions were many and not even close to comparable as a product match! I am so done with this store and after being a very loyal & frequent customer, I am out of patience and believe this store simply can't get their act together to manage a fast growing community like ours! So very disappointed!!! read more

So far I'm am unimpressed with click-list, I'm trying today for the 1st time. My pick up time is between 1-2pm, I arrived at 1:42pm, I did as it says on the sign-let us know you have arrived please call the number below. I called as soon as I got here and had to wait almost 15 minutes . when the gentleman came out to review my order he let me know that the delay is not normal and they were trying to find some missing items that were not in the baskets which is good that they reviewed the order before it came out to me. The gentleman went over my order with me and even gave me a bonus for being a first-time clicklist user which I really enjoyed and the awesome deals that I got through Kroger his saved me probably half of what I normally would have spent at the grocery store which is a third bonus. So between the time, the money, and the little bonus extra gift I got for being a first-time user I'd say the clicklist is totally worth it and highly recommend everybody trying it read more

Waited over an hour and still didn't get my groceries. Cars, pulling in and then pulling out, workers going back out to cars to confirm names and then back in. Trying to be patient since I completely understand that you can get backed up and busy. Called in again and was now told that my order is still being pulled from the store. For some reason they constantly have teenagers yelling on the P.A. system. The store was nice and clean at first but then then they just let it go (it's gone the route of Walmart). The last time I was in there was a young man bagging groceries drinking a fountain drink. He didn't seem to understand that his saliva and groceries don't mix. One typically wouldn't think one would need to count your pills after receiving them from the pharmacy, I did. I did this mainly because my wife had a prescription for Oxycodone filled the month before and it was 10 pills short. I was five short this time! I was very happy to hear Kroger was opening up in Prosper as I shop at the one in McKinney on Custer. Sadly this Kroger in Prosper is horrible. Their produce fails to meet the standards of Kroger. Their lettuce is always and I mean always bad, I have yet to buy a head of lettuce from there. Their strawberries are always over ripe and the produce section as a whole is usually buzzing abound with fruit flies. They don't seem to stock the dog food we buy and when they do it's only 1 bag at a time on the shelf. Then yesterday I go in for heavy cream, 4th of July weekend and they are out. The employee told me sorry Starbucks ran out of cream so they took all of ours off the shelf. I bought a loaf of bread and they keep it on the top shelf under the lights, when I got home I noticed condensation and within 2 days it's molded. Guess I'll just go back to the one at Custer road, they have a really nice young lady that's a door greater and they can keep their shelves stocked and have excellent produce. Update 8-17 This location has been out of 9 flavors of coffee for 3 weeks. Asked management and they had no answer. There are only 14 choices and 9 are empty. Once again had to go to the Kroger in mckinney on Custer road but this time for coffee. read more

First impression of this store was very good. Clean. Wide aisles. Helpful people. But when I was standing in a rather long line to check out, a very helpful young guy directed me to the Express Lane. The checkout person, Madison, was very rude. About halfway through my checkout process, she finally spoke to me. "For your information, this lane is for fifteen or less items." I told her that another employee directed me to that one, as the other lines were very long. She rolled her eyes and said she was going to talk to him. Aisles, front of store and parking lot were filthy last night and the ladies room was a mess. I was passing by the Kroger store at lunch time and needed to get something to eat before returning to work. It was my first visit to the store and although the Deli people very very friendly and helpful, somehow the checkout people lost one of my items. I have food sensitivities and was not able to eat items that were still available at the deli so opted to make a salad which was going to be an extra charge so I could have something green. I carefully put together a salad that would work for me and poured my salad dressing. I could not believe their green beans were sold out by noon. I went through the checkout and got to work several miles away only to find out I had no salad. I had the dressing but no salad. I called the store and they were unable to figure out a way to help me. I could not leave work again to go get the item they had lost. No offer to bring it to me or any type of fix for the problem. No offer to take my name and number to offer me a future salad or anything. I believe the customer service staff needs more training on how to handle the customers. I don't believe I will bother going to that store again. It wasn't like I had a whole basket full of items. Four containers was all I had. Very frustrating experience. read more

If you're going to put your store hours on your website you need to adhere to them. Christmas Eve stated 9pm closing. They had a kid blocking the entrance with shopping carts at 8:30 as several customers outside the store pointed out the listed store hours on the website. I can understand wanting to get done and get home on Christmas Eve but don't list hours and then turn away customers who have made a special trip to get to your store within those listed hours. I will NEVER be back to this Kroger. The woman that works in self checkout that is on a walker because of a hurt leg, should be ashamed of herself. She treated me HORRIBLY because I was getting my whole family groceries using the same coupons but different Kroger cards. She argued with me about "how they should shop for themselves". She immediately turned to a coworker saying I was ridiculous. Those were literally her words. I have never been treated so poorly, and I feel sorry for people who coupon regularly because I don't, they must deal with this all the time. No rules were broken, every card belonged to a different person that lives in a different household. I can read the fine print and it says no where per PERSON. If that was the case, then yes this wouldn't have been right. I wasn't stealing so why was I treated like a thief? But turns out she was upset, because she wasn't going to be able to use that same coupon after work(idk why). So maybe that is why she was so ugly. I'm glad I was able to restrain from getting in an altercation with her, because most people would've due to how she acted and said about a CUSTOMER. I just will definitely never be back, and neither will any of my family. Our money will go elsewhere. It's a shame because there was a tall pretty blonde woman, also in the self checkout, that was sweet as pie. read more
