Meanwhile, several employees lounging, leaning up in and on conveyor belts on their phones. Trash was full. The "chore list" chart that has been bolted to the door, dots and dashes with permanent marker -zero accountability. I travel the state. Grocery store bathrooms are generally the cleanest places. Not this one. And BYOTP or try the Publix across the road. read more

This review is not for Kroger in general but for this location. I prefer Kroger as my grocery store, but this location has some problems. I have been going for a year now and they rarely have enough cashiers to check everyone out. They have enough employees but they are not friendly or helpful. I typically sack my own groceries out of sympathy for the cashiers. One employee came over to tell the cashier that she was going to the bathroom while I sacked my own grocery. This came after I observed her just staring and pretending to be busy. No issues with the quality of food and groceries. Management, you are encouraging shoppers to go across the street to Publix where there are cashiers offering to help and other employees quickly come to help and sack groceries. You may want to consider being on the floor and seeing what is happening so that you can address the issues. read more

I'm hoping this review gets the attention of the General Manager. I had a transaction with a bunch of food and I did self checkout and checked out and put my credit card in the slot and it displayed the order was charged but the entire screen locked up . The cashier wanted to move the entire order to another checkout to rering the order up and I had to argue to the worker and show the actual charge on my credit card on my phone and also showed the order went through on my kroger account. I had to sit for 20 minutes arguing about this and asked for a manager that never came and even called for a manager when I got home and apparently for some reason there are no managers available at the stores. I asked the employee on the phone if this happens and he said yes happens all the time. PLEASE GENERAL MANAGER OF KROGERS THIS NEEDS TO BE FIXED. ORDERS ARE FREEZING AND IF YOU CAN'T FIX IT TRAIN YOUR EMPLOYEES TO DEALL WITH THIS PROPERLY. read more

This has been "My Kroger" for over 6 years now. Very friendly staff and rarely have issues with keeping the shelves stocked. Love using the digital coupons and the savings really add up! This will be "My Kroger" forever! read more

Just a quick review of their Customer Service: I put in a call to several grocery store floral departments because I was looking for something specific but didnt want to pay an arm and a leg for a bouquet. Called Kroger, went through the automated system, which was very straightforward and basically listed all the departments. I punched the number for the floral department and heard the page go thru to the associates. Within 2-3 minutes someone was on the phone assisting me. Andrea was super helpful. They didnt have what I was looking for, but she checked first and then offered alternative solutions. Sadly, I had to get exactly the flower I called about, but I am impressed with how helpful Andrea was. (Sidenote: called Publix next and the once I punched thru to the department, the phone rang about 20 times before I just had to hang up.) Anyway, that makes me want to try the floral department for other needs if I have them. read more

Shallowford Falls Kroger is my favorite Kroger location in the East Cobb area. They have fresh produce, freshly sliced lunch meat, good deals, a gas station and a great pharmacy. The pharmacists and assistants are very friendly and helpful. The other day a young lady in the pharmacy helped me find the Differin I was searching for my son and me. She showed me what a difference it had made on her acne and was so pleasant she really made my day. I paid $1.25 a gallon for gas that day with a .50 cent Kroger card discount. I really do love shopping here. read more

I have always appreciated Kroger for its low prices however, I have recently felt very uncomfortable by multiple employees each and every time I go through self-checkout. Their behavior is inappropriate, disrespectful, and down right RUDE! Many customers, including myself, have been yelled at on multiple occasions (including today) at self-checkout. This hostile environment is not something I look forward to going into every week for groceries. Do better Kroger! read more

One of the better Kroger stores. It's a little farther for me than another Kroger, but has a bigger selection, so I try to come here when I can. I like the fact that they don't seem to run out of items on sale as I have seen at some other Kroger locations. The store is large and kept very clean. The quality of the produce is good. Checkout is never a problem and there's never a wait when I have been there. read more

Kroger in general is one of the worst grocery chains. They have all sorts of shady practices, such as having one or two name brand offerings, which are poorly stocked, and filling their shelves with their cheap (as in quality) knock-offs. They have also completely reversed how most grocery stores are laid out in a deliberate effort to confuse shoppers and keep you in the aisles as long as possible. As a a corporate entity, they are notorious for treating their employees badly and it shows. This store in particular has an awful management team. Ever since they added self-checkout , they usually have only a single register open. Self-checkout is a convenience if you only have a few items, but it's a pain if you are there to buy a week's worth of groceries. So you are left with no choice but to wait in a long line, while a slow and "I really couldn't care less" cashier casually checks out customers. Meats at Kroger are the worst in the industry. They are very low quality and are packed elsewhere and shipped to the stores. One plus point for this location is that they have pretty good vegetables and they minimize pre-packaging so that you can buy only what you need. read more

Generally I love this Kroger, very good selection of vegan stuff. The shelves are mostly good stocked. The last couple of weeks it getting more and more weird. The stuff is so very unfriendly, it's unbelievable. They handle your groceries like trash. Hey guys I am paying for that stuff! If you bring your own bags they treat you as an alien, maybe because it is more work for them to pack these bags. I always leave this store in a bad mood. So very sad, that Publix is missing a lot items, which I can buy at Kroger. I would immediately go to Publix. read more

Weird vibe in here today. I do not usually shop at this particular location; although, it is very clean and well laid out (and practically empty today at 1:45ish PM). Today I had to come in for some supplementary shopping as I've been using Clicklist for my big runs. I noticed a lot of staff out and about - restocking, roaming, wandering... I stood at the deli counter for probably five minutes before someone emerged from what I thought were refrigerators. When he came out, he spoke so quietly that I just had to guess that he addressed me at all and request my order. When I asked for my turkey shaved, he whispered "the machine doesn't shave very well" which I had to ask him to repeat. Okaaaaay, so I guess the next best level of thinness will do... After I finished grabbing the few things I needed, I opted for real cashier instead of self-check. That guy hardly said a word. I mean, I get it, sometimes you just don't feel like dealing with the public, but it was just uncomfortable. In the end, my son was literally drooling over the unoffered free treats for kiddos displayed at the register. I asked the guy if these were for grabs, and he said yes. At that point, one of the ladies gave us the last leftover Patriots balloon with two more treats attached. Despite it being a Patriots balloon, we took it because four year olds don't hold grudges. Overall, I like this location - cleanliness is top notch and it's well stocked. Staff, nice little old lady aside, could use some customer service training. read more

This krogers is slipping. . Been coming here for a year now, each month there is something fishy!!! Every single shopping experience, has items mispriced. Have to end up visiting customer service for refunds. Place has gotten trashy and disorganized very quickly. I had to return deli meat & cheese due to rancid smell and taste. Terrible Experience at Bakery! Ordered on Thursday a $15.99 Birthday Cake with very explicit directions on what we wanted. Unfortunately, this failed to meet our expectations. The cakes in the case, available for the general public, were decorated better! See for yourself! Looks like this was done in maybe 3 minutes or so. I don't know what's going on with Kroger these days, but lately I seem to have nothing but problems. All the stores have kind of a grimy, dingy, dark feel to them. This store in particular always has a funny smell. It seems like the product selection has changed as well. Lots of brands that I've never heard of. It's starting to remind me of a dollar store. Things started going downhill right they got rid of the butcher. Now that all the meat is pre-packaged somewhere else, I can't get the exact cut of meat that I want. And, they seem to run out of the usual meats that most stores carry. The last time I asked the "butcher" for something, he went "to the back to check", and never came back. So, I had to ask another person to look for the meat in question, and check to make sure that nothing happened to the other fella. When he finally came back, he was really rude - as if I had inconvenienced them in some way. Even the check-out personnel always seem to be irritated, texting on their phones, or griping about something. My cashier even pulled herself over the top of the scanner to check and make sure I had unloaded the underside of my cart. Wow, made me feel real special. Another cashier was arguing with an elderly lady about an expired coupon. Geez - give her the stinkin' 50 cents off. I spend $150 a week on groceries for my family. Think about it, that's $7500 per year. Even though this Kroger used to be my "Every Week" store, I've switched to Publix where they really seem to appreciate my business. Sorry Kroger - you've really changed. read more

Ted's Kroger has the best store brand products of any grocery store in the area, and this is my favorite Kroger. The atmosphere at Publix is a little nicer, but their prices are much higher. You need to have shopped here to know why it's Ted's Kroger. Ted is an amazing guy and super helpful. read more

My second favorite Kroger. Clean. Good location in a varied shopping center. Better than when they were across Shallowford road, where a Publix is now. Great staff. This store, from before they moved, has hired some handicapped persons for bagging and other tasks. They were the best baggers I've had at any Kroger. Always had what I wanted. The main reason this wasn't my main Kroger was the lack of available parking. read more
