MUCH BETTER!!! I came in after work a few weeks ago to find BRAND NEW CARTS, new produce tables & the store seems to have been a scrub-down. Registers look new too... needed an upgrade!! I shopped this Kroger last week & again this week. I'm a fan now. Friendly folks, stocked shelves, sales are back (corporate decisions), better prices (still high!!), and a quiet store where even at 1 pm I found myself in many isles alone! I had a gerber coupon and gerber is on sale this week if you clip the digital coupon, so i did. When I went to self checkout, i scan 10 gerber food items and clicked coupon after the machine took off the digital coupons. I had a great experience at this store today! I ran into Kroger today to grab some flowers for my mom's birthday, and had my toddler with me. Of course without fail, I had to change his diaper after checking out haha. Well someone was in the handicap stall of the women's restroom, which is where the changing table was. I waited patiently and held my fussy toddler, I felt so bad. Suddenly Shakeam, who was assisting customers at self check-out, came up to me & offered to let me use their employee restroom which had a changing table. I was so grateful! I was about to take him up on his offer but saw the handicap stall had just opened up. I just really appreciate his thoughtful and kindness. It is an excellent example of wonderful customer service! I hope other employees can learn from Shakeam's stand-up behavior. If any other Moms have been there; they know, it's a tough spot. You just want to take care of your kid. My family and I happen to come to this location for years and I can honestly say that I only come here because it is conveniently located down the street for us however I do not prefer this location because they seem to be out of stock often and not very clean or organized. For positive criticism that will allow them to know areas where they can improve there are staff that can be helpful and friendly and I do appreciate the items that are in stock and in good condition. One thing that I love about Kroger overall are the fuel point reward and coupons in the mail based on purchases. read more

I shop at Kroger because I use their coupons and like their low no salt canned veggies. Also I love their frozen veggies which allows me to make many delicious meals in 30 minutes. Cooking for two is easy with so many alternatives. I also use their pulled chicken that can turn into chili or stir fried dishes in a snap! Company coming is no problem read more

It's been a solid 10 years since I've stopped in here, but the combination of a nearby hotel, a rainy evening and a side of hunger made me revisit this old stomping ground. Possibly in need of a refresh, the store was still easy to navigate and was spotless. Plenty of Grab-N-Go food choices mixed with in store discounts allowed me to squash my hunger pangs. The beer isle was a welcome sight. A great selection, from some regional brews in 24oz bottles to their "Create Your Own 6 Pack" offerings I left smiling while my wallet was weeping. read more

One of my go-to Krogers near my house. Plenty of parking and usually cheaper gas than the surrounding gas stations (especially if you use your Kroger Plus Card). The organization of the aisles here is better than the one on Lawrenceville-Suwanee Rd. Single long aisles instead of two rows of short aisles. I've never had issues finding items on my grocery list. Overall, clean with lots of options. However, some other Krogers definitely have a larger organic/healthy section and more on-the-go food options (e.g., Asian, Mexican, etc.). If you're sticking to standard grocery shopping, this location is a good choice. read more

I overall like kroger. Mostly because of their good prices and great deals you get if you grab a yoohoo deal. This one Kroger, though, is not particularly my favorite, but it is closest to my house so I do shop here. It is one of the small type of Krogers so don't expect a full blown deli, humongous organic section or a Starbucks inside of it, yet it provides a good amount of all the various needs you may have. Unfortunately I can't give it a full 5 stars because I do like Kroger overall, but this store loses a few points in cleanliness, organization, and speedy checkout. Not all of it is their problem, but in comparison to other Krogers, this one has low ceilings and poor lighting this creating a sense of being in a dingy, older grocery store. It does get a huge flow of customers because it serves a large population's demand that not even the other two grocery stores in the half mile radius can meet, but it does get crowded and the registers and its cashiers struggle to keep up. Having said that, they have been rather attentive everytime I've gone there and needed something, they just don't have enough people during rush hour. read more

I've been to many Kroger's around Ga, and this is THE WORST WHEN IT COMES TO CUSTOMER SERVICE. Just rude, scoff you off, and don't even apologize when they are in the wrong! Tried to make a payment one time (this is just 1 incident), gave a man at the money center $400..for him to give me $200 back and tell ME I only gave him $200?! I asked for a manager and she corrected it. He looked disgusted when he handed me my money back. Anytime I deal with either of the two main guys that work here, its always a bad experience. read more

Ugh. My wife and I call this place 'ratchet Kroger'. The lines are always backed up (even self-checkout), the produce is awful, the shelves are a mess, customers block the lanes as they talk on their phones, no one respects the basic rules of society by walking on the right side of the aisle, the parking lot is littered with stray carts, I could go on. There's a pervasive sense of third-world anarchy to the place. Every time I go here to pick up paper towels or a gallon of milk on my way home from work I leave worried about the future of the country. But the meat market is good, so hey, it's got that going for it. Go here if you must to pick up an item or two, but for a full fridge/pantry re-stocking, drive another ten minutes to the Sugarloaf or Dacula Krogers. read more

This place is beginning to beat out my other favorite grocery store (publix). It's very clean and has great deals. My biggest complaint with Publix lately is that they never have new products. Came here and ta da they have it!! I'm not a health nut but I love their organic section and it's reasonably priced. Love this store! The staff is awesome, everything is easy to find and you gotta love those classic Kroger deals!! Of course, I have been shopping here for the better part of 3 years, as it's less than 2 miles from my house, so I might be a little biased... But I have been to many other Kroger stores and this place beats them out. My one complaint is, they're desperately in need of a renovation to "compete" with the other Kroger stores. However, that doesn't affect my view of the store or make me not want to shop there. It's in a great location and always has what I need. I always feel like the person behind me in line is on my rear after I check out buying over 100 dollars in groceries it would be nice to be able to get the bags into my buggy myself a little organized before the next customer rushes me. The card swiper is too close to the next person in line. The cashier should not start scanning the next customer until you have put everything into your buggy. read more

It has smelt like an animal crawled up and died in the produce since Thursday (no exaggeration), it is Sunday now and still no one has resolved this very obvious issue. I really haven't been able to get anything I needed out of produce because the smell is so overpowering. Also, I will never buy the Kroger brand ground Turkey from this Kroger. I have never had any problems with it from any other locations, but it tasted absolutely disgusting when I bought it from here. The only reason I go here is it's convenient. I've had to drive to different grocery stores regularly cause the fruits/vegetables are nasty looking, or because they are completely out of what I need. read more
