My husband and I stopped in here during a recent stay in Cartersville. It was very late when we were finally able to get away and eat. We stopped in here on our way back to our hotel hoping to find something prepackaged and quick. We were surprised to find they had sushi. We took a chance and got a couple of squid salads and a couple of rolls. I didn't get any pictures because it was late and I was starving. We were pleasantly surprised at how fresh and delicious the sushi was. Keep in mind it was grocery store sushi and not a sushi restaurant so for what it was it was very good. read more

HUGE Kroger, they are almost like Walmart. They have everything from food to clothing, and Starbucks that I can live without, but a nice touch anyway. They also had a wine and beer counter. If I lived in Cartersville, I probably would shop there, and become more familiar with the store. However, I am used to our Kroger on Wade Greene Road, in Kennesaw, and I like it better. This Kroger is so huge that it's hard to find simple items and you wind up spending unnecessary time in running around the isles. Cashier and the packer were both nice and friendly, so I guess it was and an OK shopping experience.? read more

Kroger is quickly becoming my go to grocery store. I find the best deals in their ad, the staff is always helpful and I can grab a Starbucks while I shop. They also have a great specialty cheese area with knowledgeable friendly staff. read more

I am only rating this Kroger for the Starbucks only! The store itself is super nice and looks brand new. We don't have Kroger were I live so was nice to see what a Kroger looks like. I came in early in the morning to get a coffee and found the Starbucks in the right hand corner. What threw me off was the place was dead and as I walked up to the Starbucks both the Kroger employee and Starbucks/Kroger employee looked at me with no greeting. After several minutes of standing there listening to them complain about work knowing I was standing there. I finally said excuse me can I get some help. After an eye roll she took my order made my drink, handed it to me and that was it. No thank you have a nice day nothing. So I killed it with kindness and told her thank you and hope she has a great day. I don't live here so no biggie to me... read more

Kroger - the inside of a grocery store - Grocery Near Me - Cartersville, Georgia

I have shopped this store since it opened. This store is wonderful. Great selections, good products, excellent produce, etc. It is nice, very clean, wide aisles, well stocked.... I don't shop the "Walmart" part of the store. Nothing there we need. After reading some of the other reviews, most of the negative opinions are about the pharmacy itself, not the grocery store. Cartersville is lucky to have a store of this quality. This store tens time better than any of their big stores in Cobb. It's more like their premium other market brand stores, ie, Harris Teeter in the Carolinas and Smiths in Utah. For those that don't like this store, then go to Walmart....... That store would better fit their needs. But if you're looking for a nice big store with great selections, good prices and a better shopping experience, then shop here! read more

This is a really nice location.. I just moved here from kennesaw and the kroger off wade green is nasty so I was very pleasantly surprised at how nice and CLEAN this one was... the employees were very helpful(unlike the ones in kennesaw)... so I can honestly say, we will making this our main grocery store from now on... thanks for restoring my faith in kroger!!! read more

A great newer location that has nearly everything you need. They have a clothing section and a good selection of Georgia sports teams gear. There's also a Kroger gas station at the end of the lot. Plus, inside the Kroger, to the right side there's a Starbucks inside. They have a huge deli right next to the craft beer sampling bar. Speaking of beer and wine, they have the best selection and price on them. I've been all around the Cartersville area in search of a quality beer section, and Kroger is it! read more

I have given this Kroger several chances to improve. Today was the last time I utilize the curbside pick up. I set up for pick up for 4 pm and did not receive my groceries until. I also had to make another stop because they were missing several items. The seafood department has an unpleasant smell. I have to go to a different store to get seafood because I don't think the seafood is unsafe read more

Rx plan is the only reason for "let's go Krogering...". It's not a happy way to shop. We show up with a shirt and shoes but still get no service. I'm not surprised at the pharmacy posting "please don't yell at our employees". The service is so bad the management is at fault either locally for lack of training or corporately for policy. We hade a couple of issues at this Kroger and received an attitude with the service. My spouse wont set foot in the store. read more

First time ever reviewing a grocery store, but this is so much more. First of all this place is as big as a Walmart supercenter, and with much more than groceries. My wife and I have shopped at many Krogers but this is our first visit to a big one. Their food, beer and wine selection is excellent. They have a huge produce section with great selections. They have an in-house Starbucks, and in-house bee and wine bar, they have a clothing section with some good brand clothing for inexpensive prices (Make sure you bring your Kroger card or sign up for one, they are free and will save you tons of money, and you get points towards gas, which they also have a station onsite). We have been back here several times, worth the drive. I'd give it 5 stars but it's quite a drive for us! read more

The pharmacy, pharmacist and techs are horrible at their job. They are incompetent, unorganized, rude, disrespectful and unable to give good customer services. I gave them multiple chances for 2 mo as I get lots of medication. Now my boyfriend uses them and he is experiencing the same horrible team!!!! They are like hamsters. They run in circles as fast as they can and half a** everything. I have seen multiple people get upset with them every time I go. They are horrible do not waist your time! read more

LOVE this store! When picking a local grocery store I look for a store that's clean, has a friendly staff and a great selection and this location has all of that PLUS a BAR! I couldn't believe when I waked around the corner of the Deli section and found a Beer & Wine Bar. You can come in and relax a bit with a glass of wine before tackling your grocery list. The rest of the store is very nice and includes a clothing section, shoes and home goods. It looks like the Pharmacy is struggling but I don't use that part. I also love the fact that they have a huge selection in every dept. The store in very clean and I always have several employees ask me if I need help. Definitely a must stop and check out! read more

The overall store is very nice but I have several issues with them 1) their meat hardly ever has dates on them. If they do, I've bought chicken and beef there that has gone bad within two days. The chicken was bad the next night leaving me to scramble to find something for dinner. 2) they never have regular, non-organic carrots. This isn't just a one time occurrence.... It's been for the past three shopping trips. 3)their cut flowers will die within 4 days. Husband bought me a beautiful bouquet of cut flowers but they didn't last. 4) and this is just so you know..... Don't ever try their cooked ribs. They were nasty. I tried a sample and thought they were boiled w cheap sauce. My daughter can cook better than that. So, unless you like shopping twice in the same day or throwing $$$ away. Stay away from the new Kroger. read more

Wow. I have been here three times now and get overwhelmed so easy each time. The selection is great and I LOVE the cheese store and frozen meal "pick your own" section. The fruit is fresh and they have a good wine selection. The pharmacy is efficient and has been great so far, so we will return to them. I do also like that their gas is already cheap, and the plus points only make it cheaper. My only complaint is how crowded it is, and that is certainly not their fault- so no stars lost here. I just struggle with so many people everywhere and am not used to shopping with my 200 closest friends next to me. The prices seem comparable but not great, and certainly think that I need to use their adds more. Their digital coupons on the app are awesome too, so get hooked up there and you be happily surprised how easy it is. read more

THE GROCERY STORE - Pretty good. The groceries are always well priced, the best in that area of town. It's not always terribly clean, and the bathrooms are not awesome. THE PHARMACY - Avoid at all costs. I had a generic, commonly available prescription called in on a Monday. I called Kroger to ask when it would be ready, and I was told later that afternoon. When I arrived, they had no record of the prescription, no one remembered me calling in, and told me to call my doctor. They were really rude and acted like I was trying to steal someone else's medicine. I went back and forth with them for four days, my doctor calling it in multiple times. Each time, they had no record of the prescription, or my doctor's call. Finally, on Friday, my doctor just called the CVS down the road. It was ready in half an hour, and the staff were lovely. read more

Went here to pick up a few items today including some beer. Got to the self serve checkout and ran my groceries through. Scanned the beer and it alerted an associate to check my ID. Gave my license to the girl and said they could not sell it to me because my license was expired. Are you kidding me?? I'm 50 years old. When did you start policing id's instead of checking to see if I'm over 21. Should have got a manager over but I was in a hurry. You just lost my business Kroger! read more

A grocery store with a beer and wine bar! Good times good times; I all around love this grocery store, there's a couple things that I would like, but not even really worth mentioning. Click-List is super convenient, the app could use a little work but overall does the job. Out here in Cartersville this place is close as you can get to something like Whole Foods or Fresh Market without killing your bank account. read more

PHARMACY: STAY AWAY. Go to cvs. The pharmacy at this store is the absolute worst experience you can have with a pharmacy slow is not the word. If you need something filled. Friday. Call it in on Monday then when you get there Friday you will only have to wait 30-4O minutes to have it filled absolute horrible customer service read more

Can I just say the sushi here is sooo good!! We eat sushi very often and I have to say that it's as good as or better than the local restaurants in Cartersville! The chefs here will also make your sushi to order so if you have a special request, just ask. The beer garden is fun as well. read more

I always shop with Kroger but This is the worst Kroger I have done business with. Without fail, they are always out of products I need and I end up having to go elsewhere to finish my shopping. I previously lived In Rome, ga and never experienced what I experience here. The click list experience in Cartersville is a nightmare. I always pick a time that is not a peak time but out of 4 times I have done this, I have left after sitting in the parking lot for an hour without my groceries three of those. Yesterday I walked into the store. It was 10 am on a Wednesday. There was not one large buggy. I saw an employee and asked where the large buggy's were and he said "in the parking lot". I went to a buggy return and got a buggy, came back to the store, bought what groceries they were not out of and proceeded to check out. Only one live cashier working. I went to self check out and every time I scanned an item it said "please place item in the bag". I hope I don't need to tell you that I had already done so. This happened at least 15 times and every time I had to call the attendant who looked at me as if I was the problem. I finally got checked out and looked back at the scanner I was using which was saying "please remove items from the scanner". Nothing there. I pointed it out to the cashier and left. I want to reiterate that I have been shopping at the Kroger In Rome Georgia for 20+ years and I have always been happy. Corporate needs to take a look at the Cartersville store. In the meantime, I will be shopping elsewhere. They are always out of my dog food anyway just as they were yesterday. read more

don't waste your time with the clicklist, not unless you want to spend your whole day at kroger. we put our order in at 9:00 or 9:30 am sunday 8/11/19 morning revered a time to pickup between 3-4 pm but didn't get our order till 5:30 pm. we didn't get the right amount of grapes that we ordered and no explanation on why we didn't get the amount we wanted. the place was a madhouse with only one girl bringing orders out. clicklist is supposed to be for people in a hurry, how is this a service for people to have to wait 2+ hours to wait for their order. the one and only girl that was bringing orders out said that they were under staffed, but it doesn't matter what the excuse is, it should have been able to have been cleared up with in 2 hours. you cant tell me that there isn't some people that aren't doing anything that had to be done that second to where they couldn't have pulled some of them to get caught up. i was also told that the floor manager was walking around not doing anything and that he didn't know anything about the clicklist. kroger you don't even deserve 1 star, this is not the first time it has happened to me but i guarantee you that it will be the last cause you have now lost my business!!!!!!!! way to go kroger!! read more
