And every time there IS a worker in the clothing section, they don't have a key. They'll tell you they called someone, and you'll stand there for 20 minutes until you inevitably give up. Not to mention the time I got signed up for a Walmart + subscription without my consent. I went to customer service, and she told me "yeah, there was a day where all self checkouts accidentally signed up everyone who used them." Then, she directed me to a supervisor who could help we with a refund, and said supervisor told me, and I quote, "WELL AINT NOBODY GO ON YOIR PHONE AND SIGN YOU UP." As if a worker didn't literally just admit to me that Walmart self checkouts scammed me. She then ignored me for 15 minutes so I left and went to file a chargeback with my bank. And when I went to file that chargeback, the bank told me they had someone come in that morning for the same exact reason. So they don't take any accountability.

All that said, until today the only Ingles I'd ever shopped at was in Blairsville GA. Numerous times there and always a pleasant experience. We all know Publix, clean, well stocked, nice produce and meat department though expensive for certain. Take the Kroger on 92, quite dirty, produce wilting in place and meats that you'd probably prefer to buy elsewhere. Fast forward to this Ingles. I shopped here today for the first time. Wow!! So very clean! Well stocked, fresh produce, amazing meat department, superb bakery. The only problem I had was finding things, LOL!! Large store, clean as can be with spacious aisles. Oh, unlike so many other grocery stores I've shopped at, I asked as employee a question and received a very courteous answer. I'll be back to shop as a regular customer here. It's a bit further away than others grocery stores from my home, but such a pleasant surprise is worth the extra 7-8 minutes.
