I wanted pass along a positive review on this Kroger store. I have been buying my bottled water (5 gallon) from this Kroger store. Recently I noticed that they had changed from Primo water to Crystal Springs. I did not think too much about this until we started noticing an unpleasant taste on one of the bottles. Then another. I bought one from Walmart (Primo brand again) and it was fine. With this in mind I called this Kroger and after going thru all kinds of frustration was told to call the supplier. I called them and of course they said it was the Kroger store's issue. With the above in mind I entered the store ready for a fight. I had purchase 5 of these and had 2 bad ones and was returning the 3 unused ones. It was early morning and I ran into the customer service person named Denise. She was absolutely lovely and took care of my return with no issue or argument. Just how customer service used to be. I cannot say enough about how well my interaction went. Look forward to many more good things from this store. read more

Horrible store. By far the worst Kroger I've ever been to. I'll drive the extra distance to Hebron or Union to avoid this store. Poorly stocked, dirty, rude employees. My mother in law was in last week and asked an employee where the Milo's tea was and was told "I can't help you I'm on break" I can't wait for Public's to hit the market. Kroger needs the competition. They've had a monopoly in this area too long and it shows. read more

Drive thru is very slow. Four cars ahead of me and I have waited thirty minutes. They totally don't care about their service.

I came in to pick up some iced coffee while visiting the area and was mortified at the mold and nasty nature of the store the people in the Burlington area deserve better. Obviously the store manager isn't doing their job either when it comes to having their store clean. I will not be back to this location by choice and will be reaching out to whoever to attempt to get this fixed for the employees and customers. I feel as though it should be noted that I have found out management has been aware for months and this is what the store looked like on 4/19/25. read more

If there was a 0 that's what they would get. This is my last time participating in this mess. I had a pick up order scheduled for 5-6 was told it would be ready by 7 so ran a few errands to pass the time. It showed the order was ready on my phone I got there and then they said it hadn't been picked yet. They asked if I could come back at 8. I understand stuff happens but it showed that it was ready. Also every single time I place a order for any kind of deli meat they never fulfill those items. Get it together Kroger! read more

I like going shopping there. I need my Cheerios my pride, my MrBeast bars, my white chocolate everything like everything I love it. The atmosphere is amazing. Scanning is pretty rude but I still like it like oh my gosh it's so amazing. I recommend going here but it's a little small. read more

I always leave this grocery store with a smile on my face! This is by far the best Kroger location because of the friendly employees and the entertaining shoppers Today, I saw a lady with a pink bob haircut who was barefoot LOL. I definitely had a good laugh! Anyway, the produce section has cheap, high quality vegetables that are absolutely delicious! When I checkout I always go to the sweet young lady named London, she's very funny and sweet. Her and her coworker/friend Brooklyn are an absolute hoot! Dark, small, out of stock on normal things like Simply orange juice, ladies working the deli talking to each other instead of helping customers. Avoid at all costs. North Bend is much nicer but that deli is horrible as well. read more

This place is GROSS!! FIRST, I have had so many items that were opened when I got home that I can't even count. It happens so rarely that I know there should be a penalty of some kind. There was even some bacon this morning that was open and turning brown. SECOND, this place is FILTHY, it's like nothing is ever clean. EVER! You can literally walk in at 6:00 am and self checkout screens and areas are soooo dirty from day before. There are frozen items EVERYWHERE, in every isle that I would bet are placed back in the freezer.. DO NOT SHOP HERE!! read more

Large grocery store, lots of selection. Restrooms are okay. They have some deep discounts on random stuff in the discount bins. I like that there are two areas for self checkout on both sides of the store. read more

I have shopped at Kroger (started in MI) for all my adult life...im now 66yrs old. Been a loyal customer for all those years until today! I tried to work out an issue involving a check......the 'customer service staff/management' was a joke!! Do you know what's its like trying to communicate with 2 "millennials" to solve a problem???? My one star is me being generous. The staff in this store is anything but helpful and friendly. My last experience was with the pharmacy staff, pharmacists Jennifer in particular. She is nothing but a rude bully that harrassed me. This pharmacy staff caused me a whole lot of unnecessary stress and aggravation and i wont be back! read more

Has got to be the nastiest deli I've ever dealt with. First time I've ever had Swiss cheese with black crap ( mold ) on it. The manager didn't even care that the equipment is that dirty. I always shop at this Kroger due to the convenience of its location from my house. Overall, I like the store and since it's remodeling I can find everything I need and more, and it's easier to find things and to navigate due to its size. I shop at this store at least once or twice a week, and my consistent complain are the baggers and sometimes the cashiers. The baggers appear like they were not trained to do their jobs- bagging chips together with canned foods, food items with soap, uncaring of handling fruits that you don't want bruised or mushed, etc. etc.. Majority of the time, the cashiers were nice, but sometimes I will encounter one (or two and more) that does not show any personality or does not care about the paying costumer. He/ she does not bother to great the costumer, no smiles, no eye contact, keeps checking cellphones, etc, etc... I'm just wondering what kind of training Kroger's provide their employees specially costumer service. read more

I stopped by this Kroger to get tuna steaks on the way back from the library. I should really come here more often. I have a tendency to just go to the grocery closest to my house which isn't as nice. This is what I like about it - great meat selection. There are lots of cuts of meat and fish and they all look really fresh and taste good. They have a good organic/ethnic food section which I appreciate because I'm often looking for unusual ingredients and don't want to drive all the way to Whole Foods. They also have a good selection of books, magazines and makeup. I'm one of those weird people that loves to grocery shop and browse and look at fabulous things I want to buy. This place meets all of those needs. read more

This Kroger is just A-OK. Its much like the other mid-size Krogers built within the last 15 years. The selection seems to be fairly adequate and meets most of my needs. If you are looking for something more exotic then head up the road to the Hebron location. The reason I am here most is for lunch, since I work across the way at the library. The salad bar meets most of my expectations for a quick bite to eat If I am looking for something exotic then I head to the Signature soup and olive bar. The olive bar is truly fantastic and takes me back to the days in college when I lived near the Little Italy of the Bronx. Now only if they could export some Tino's subs we would be in business. The sushi on the other hand is pretty blah. Finally, probably the best feature of this Kroger is the coupon for Altiora Coffee on the back of the receipt- $2.00 off ham, egg, and cheese bagel sandwich or free pastry with large coffee or latte. Truly a steal in my opinion, unfortunately I haven't had too many chances to redeem them, which has resulted in a rather large pile of Kroger receipts in my car and on my desk. read more

This is hands down THE BEST Kroger I have ever shopped in. As a former long-time resident of Burlington, I took for granted the fresh meat and produce and HUGE variety of non typical grocery items. As someone who loves to cook and try new recipes, I was thrilled when I could easily find jicama or anchovy paste. It is sparkling clean and the staff is fantastic. I now live approximately 15-20 miles from this store, but will make the drive as I know I will have the best shopping experience I could hope for. I LOVE THIS KROGER!! read more
