I had a very bad experience in this Kroger after I tried to used an offer that said" buy two get one free" for a 12pk coke box but when I saw my receipt the full price of the 3 boxes i bought was charged, when I asked why or if there was a mistake showing the cashier the photo of the deal i took I was told that I needed a Kroger card and that it was my fault, but in the photo Which I will attach below the poster clearly does not say that a card is needed unlike the poster for six packs above it that does mention the requirement of a card so yeah very disappointed and also very misleading deals read more

Online shopping and $10 delivery charge. Looking for baby formula, Kroger shows it's in stock for delivery only. Weird how they have on for online orders and I can't shop for it in person????? They want that extra $10! Their shopper indicated the formula was out of stock and only stated that I'll be refunded. Doesn't confirm the amount. And when I requested the amount, I didn't get a text back. I just want to make sure the $10 delivery charge was included. Then it states that it will take 3-7 business days to receive the refund!!!! What! I need that money to get formula elsewhere!! So upset!!!! One of the reasons why I don't pre-tip online. No product, no delivery, no tip. I'd rather tip in person AFTER I get the service. We have been shopping at the Addison Kroger off and on for many years, and even though the store and parking lot are both a bit crowded, we overlook it because this is the location that is closest to us, and the staff have always been friendly and helpful. We decided to do a pick up order yesterday, and that was a really bad experience. My husband went to pick up the order, and the girl was back and forth into the store. She took my husband's debit card, then came out saying she needed his pin #. The same with another card we were using. After a long wait, and lots of confusion, my husband was able to head home with our groceries, including ice cream, in tow. I had asked for no substitutions, but evidently they didn't care. It's like they just grabbed whatever was in the vicinity of the item I wanted. Not only that, all of our groceries felt like they were covered with a sticky lotion. I'm not sure what that could have been. My husband went back to the store to complain to the manager, who gave him a $15.00 credit. We won't ever do a pick up order with Kroger ever again. We'll stick with Walmart, as much as I don't care for them in general. Their ordering process is much smoother, and their app is much more user friendly. read more

I had a long morning due to the newborn not sleeping. Decided to run to my favorite grocery store to get some groceries for dinner and brought the newborn with. I'm not too sure what this Kroger used to look like but passing by this location multiple times I noticed they did listen to the reviews and renovated the location. From my experience the store has plenty of fresh items. They have Boar's Head, which I absolutely love. I got some sand which meat and cheese from this deli. It is a small location, which means less people. That is always nicer than waiting in the long lines in bigger grocery stores. They have a large beer and wine selection. I mean what else do you want? This Kroger is the worst I have every been too. The grocery carts need to be replaced most of them have bad wheels. I have seen the manager try to shut the store down early on Christmas eve and saw customers yelling at him, since the website said the store would be open. The stockers continually block the aisles. I must say that there are some good employees that work there, who are friendly and kind. The pharmacy has gone done hill with the new pharmacist (Mr. Razi Choudhry). He negligence has delayed my heart medicine. He has removed my phone number from my account so I cannot refill my prescriptions. He has been rude to my wife on multiple occasions. He refuses to take paper scrips for my adhd medicine. This guy will eventually get what he deserves. I have switched my prescriptions to Tom Thumb and will no longer shop at this Kroger. The rest of the Kroger around town are great. read more

Purchased a lemon for 89 cents and charged to my American Express card. While in parking lot I saw on app that $1.89 was charged instead. Went back inside and spent 8 minutes waiting in line at customer service only to be told this was an issue I should take up with the credit card. This Kroger sucks :( Most recent example: Water refill machine inside the store is broken (again), and literally no employee has any idea when it will get fixed after asking for a couple weeks. I then asked one employee that was manning the register, "do you think you'll know WHEN it might have a repair eta a week from now?" Answer from employee: "No promises." What?! You can't even commit to asking management over a week? I escalated to the phones for management, here's what happened: -"AG" answers their phones and was rude when I tried to ask to speak to a manager. Obviously not trained to be on phones at all. -"Brandon" says he's a manager, tells me the machine will probably never get fixed as all of Kroger will probably pull the machines soon, all this internal drama and shenanigans... THE NEXT DAY THE WATER WAS FIXED! :( Other reasons: Store Manager uses internal loudspeaker to direct employee workflow and shill 'promotions'; produce is very weak/gross compared to local Kroger's and other competitors; coupons are really only good on sat and fri, but they will be way out of that product before you get off work (no rainchecks I've been told many times by customer service after the checkers all THINK I may be able to get one); I saw a lady after she was accosted at this location started screaming security - I never saw an employee do anything; I could go on... From the moment you walk into the entrance there's tables of random shit that is on sale that you can't even really shop because it's literally in the only path of entry/exit to the store. It's a small, poorly laid-out store. Frequently out of stock on at least one or two things on my list. In a time when social distancing is so important, this store still has tons of large displays in the middle of aisles that put people right up on top of one another. It's a mess... a grocery garage sale. The one star is because it has a fuel center where I can use my rewards points. read more

I will start by saying that Kroger does indeed have cheaper prices than Tom Thumb on some regular shopping items. However, this store needs some management interjection and care. I would give this location a 1.5 star vote, but you cannot give half stars when writing a review. I went to this location on a weekday (late in the afternoon) and there was literally NO shopping cart. It wasn't busy and there were quite a few frustrated customers looking for carts. I do find that their carts regularly are very OLD, warn, in the parking lot and not in the store. The produce is quite mediocre and I only buy what I really need, but ONLY if it is good. Their citrus seems okay on the regular but I do find that tomatoes and avocados vary...either very under ripe or over ripe. Not the place to go for seafood, fresh meat or deli. If they have a good deal in meat, you are likely better off being sure it can be, or is, frozen. i find that mark downs on items are generally because they need to move the product off the shelf. The store overall is not very well maintained and check-out can be a challenge. It seems they are always encouraging self-check out in order not to open more than a line or two. More time could be spent on cleaning this location. To boot, I did have a cart person run a stack of carts into my car and scratch the paint to the primer. When I went to the manger and asked what to do, he simply stated that the cart person was special needs person and how could I consider filing a claim? I am sorry, I absolutely LOVE that you employ special needs staff and it is one of the things that actually makes me happy when I am going through check out. However, for your management to use that as an excuse is unacceptable. Would recommend y'all have regional management visit this location and make some adjustments. I would imagine that this location has quite a bit of a customer base and should focus on retention. Exiting this location is not the easiest either. You can sit at the light next to Taco Bueno for quite some time before being able to exit onto Marsh. Enjoy y'all! read more

Well this Kroger definitely needs some management help. This store is poorly ran and hope that they catch on quick. Last week no carts and I had to grab my own along with 3 other people as well. I worked at Kroger as a kid and had to get carts and bag groceries, but now as a customer there's no cashiers so we get to do that saving your guys some labor. Yeah I work for you for free. Then as customers, we have to get our own carts. I'm capable without a problem but your guys are providing the service and lacking in the customer service department. We're new here to Texas. We're used to going to the market in Calif and having a wide variety of produce that's VERY good and true to size. Came here the other day to get some lemons. I have to say we were shocked and couldn't help from laughing at these lemons that were the same size if not smaller than a lime! It's not just the lemons, it's a lot of other produce that we've noticed that are not up to par. I've also noticed that they don't have a lot of other items that are on my shopping list. Be careful shopping at the Kroger Pharmacy at Beltline and Marsh. They don't accept GoodRx coupons. GoodRx show the prescription $47 they charged me $70. Just imagine how the ripping off the elderly people that don't understand how to use the apps. I'm a few days out from having a total knee replacement and the pain medication they supposedly ordered never came in. I never received a phone call from them telling me they couldn't get it. This is my neighborhood Kroger. It's an ok Kroger. It has all of the staples but doesn't have some extra specialty items that you may find at other Kroger's. One thing that I like about this Kroger is that if I see something in the advertisement and come here, they will usually have it. I've been to other Kroger's that are out of the items that are in sale. I think this Kroger could do better with adding more options that are already cooked and adding more food options. read more

Convenient when I need to run errands while I'm at work and have other places to go on Beltline. The store is old and while it keeps the shelves well stocked the store is set up in a little confusing way because of it's age. It is nice that it is a bigger store. I'm from Cincinnati and I have NEVER been in Kroger that has expired food on the shelves until I walked into this one. Once I bought meat that had a good through date set out 7 days but the stench was horrible, returned. Then Sunday 1/31/2021 I was looking for buttermilk it had good through date of 1/26/2021 ALL of them. I've never seen such a thing. Worst Kroger ever. First off there pharmacy doesn't open until 9. So if you have a job good luck ever catching them before or after work to grab your medicine. Decided to just be late to work and run to the pharmacy at 9 am when they open and of course the one worker who is supposed to open is stuck in traffic and is running late. I always come to this location and Everytime there is always something that bothers me. The man at the register is very rude, he never says hi and when i try to say hello he refuses to look at me or speak at all. I believe he is racist because when a white person goes in his line he is very nice to them. Another time i had 18 items and went in the "about 15 items line" the lady refused to check me out because i had 3 more items. I told her it says "about 15" she made me move to a different register.
