I ordered a mangonada but they didn't blend it at all. Gave me frozen mangos... I gotta wait for it to melt to even drink it

Aqua frescas! Get it on ice!

This is a great spot to get fresh fruit to go for much less! Fresh cut kiwi , grapefruit , coconut, strawberries, watermelon , you name it! You can get 3 fruits (med size) to go for about $3. Not bad! They also have aqua frescas, which I love! Try the watermelon with lemon mixed! But, it doesn't stop there! They also have cakes, pie, whole fruit to be purchased for less, chocolate covered strawberries , fruit smoothies, etc. I'm so glad I found this place!

I am so happy that someone recommended Fruteria Cano to me. I really hate myself everyday that I go to Starbucks and buy a coffee and a pastry and I end up spending $9 AND having 800 calories before lunch. Fruteria cano is a healthier alternative to a rushed/on the go breakfast. I love to go in the morning for a $4.50 huge plate of fruit with yogurt and granola. Their licuados (smoothies) are also great. They could basically make you a fresh squeezed juice or smoothie while you wait. I used to go to The Juice bar and spend like $9 for a smoothie, what a sucker! Fruit is expensive, so I don't mind paying their prices. I think that if you are someone that doesn't mind paying $5 for coffee in order to hold a fancy cup, then it's hypocritical to complaint about the price of a huge plate of fruit. I have not yet tried their other snacks, but I know I will.

This is the place to get the most authentic Mexican snacks and fresh fruit. I came specifically for the rusa but I heard great things about the fresas and crema. I had to get it. I knew I couldnt finish them both but I got them anyway. I don't regret my decision at all! The Rusa is a mix of chamoy with sprite/club soda with fruits and extra chamoy on top. The cup is never big enough! The fruits are always overflowing and so much to enjoy. It comes with a chamoy straw. It is such a nice extra touch. Rusa was about $5.50. Strawberry was also around $5.50. I got a small but she gave me a lot!!!! the cream was oozing out the container. That could easily be shared between three or four people. You will get your money's worth here!

I especially love how bright, spacious, and wide open the store feels. The roomy aisles and organized layout make it easy to explore without feeling cramped or rushed, which matters because there is so much to see. The variety is incredible. You can find everything you need to create dishes from across many Asian cuisines, including fresh produce, noodles, rice, sauces, spices, frozen specialties, snacks, teas, kitchenware, and ingredients you rarely see in an ordinary grocery store. Even when I don't have a specific shopping list, I love walking through the aisles and discovering something new to try. The people who work here have always been kind, welcoming, and helpful when I need assistance finding something. That makes an already enjoyable shopping experience even better. My advice: give yourself plenty of time on your first visit. This is not a store you want to rush through! Every city in the United States should have a 99 Ranch Market. Since I arrived around 1:00 PM, I found it unusual that some of the vendors were open with no staff in sight to assist customers during what would typically be peak lunch hours.

There…read morearen't many places here that serve this style of Cantonese food authentically, and this one easily stands out for both quality and execution. The prices are slightly on the higher side, but the ingredients are fresh, the portions are reasonable, and every dish we ordered was cooked exceptionally well. As someone who cooks Cantonese food regularly and has eaten extensively across Hong Kong, Guangzhou, Malaysia, and Singapore, I can honestly say the standard here exceeds most Cantonese restaurants in the area. The chef is from Guangzhou, and it definitely shows. The Beef Hor Fun (Dry Fried Beef Rice Noodles) was excellent. The wok hei was fragrant without being overly smoky, the noodles weren't greasy, and the bean sprouts were still crisp. That's the benchmark for a well-executed hor fun. The Salted Fish Chicken & Eggplant Clay Pot was another standout. The eggplant had clearly been lightly fried before being braised, giving it a wonderful texture--soft but not mushy, fragrant, and not overly oily. It paired perfectly with a bowl of white rice. My only minor comment is that I personally prefer a stronger salted fish flavor, having enjoyed this dish in many places across Southeast Asia. That's purely personal preference rather than a criticism. The biggest surprise of the night was the 香顶面. I didn't even get a photo because we finished it before I remembered! It was incredibly fragrant, the shrimp were very fresh, and the flavors were unlike anything I've had elsewhere in DFW. Definitely a must-order. The restaurant itself is small, with only about six tables, giving it a cozy neighborhood feel. Despite its size, they offer impressively fresh seafood and dishes that are prepared with great attention to detail. Overall, this is a fantastic find. The pricing reflects the quality of the ingredients and cooking, and it's well worth it if you're looking for authentic Cantonese cuisine rather than the usual Americanized Cantonese fare. We'll definitely be back to work our way through the rest of the menu. 5 stars. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates true Cantonese cooking.

Lots of jalapeños but they weren't really spicy so it wasn't detrimental to enjoyment of dish. We got a small our first time and it was definitely enough for 3 people - Salted fish chicken eggplant: tasty and aromatic dish, Angela one of the owners said it's a super traditional canto dish. Eggplant was well cooked and the flavors were solid. Nothing mindblowing but good home cooking, prob would've been better over white rice. - Scallion chicken (half): pretty tender but flavor didn't really penetrate all the way through... probably the weakest dish both times we came. White meat not the juiciest I've had sadly. - Garlic fried eggplant: had this the second time we came because of a seafood allergy at the table and it was so good, one of our faves for sure. - Laziji (spicy fried chicken): MIL said this is probably the best version of this dish she's had in DFW. Really good and quite spicy so beware! - Razor clams: on the pricier side but really well flavored and super fresh. - Garlic butter prawns (or something like that): so well fried, huge, and delicious. You just can't go wrong with anything prawn related on the menu. Love that white rice is priced super reasonably here (50 cents for a decently sized individual bowl). Will be back!

If you are looking for a way to hedge the current inflationary situation, it appears Aldi just might be able to help. This being my first visit here, it appears Aldi's business model is to hold costs down and pass savings onto the customer. For example, they essentially "vend" lend you a cart for 25 cents, but give it back to you when you return the cart. Seems cheesy, but it's the only grocery store I have ever been to that there were NO carts in the parking lot. This saves them labor of having someone to round up carts. This place is not fancy either. There cannot be a lot of overhead on the place. It feels like an off brand convenience store more than a fancy grocery store. The food they carry is not always the the brand you might be looking for or be familiar with but it looks the same. For example, their brand of fudge stripe cookies does not have elves on the wrapper, but it's yellow and red, just like the brand you may be more familiar with. They were easier on the budget too! The downside for me was that the shelves were not neatly organized and everything made me feel like I was taking on chance on similar products that might not be the same as I am used to.
