    Mangonada

Still the best place to get a mangonada or a jugo after a workout. Get the "vampireza". It's my favorite and just get ice with it. It's a healthy and clean juice that tastes good and fills you up. (Highly recommend if you are clean eating or fasting for a day). No seating since COVID but the people are always friendly and nice. Try their elotes. So good as well. A little overpriced, but businesses have to make money. Come get some fresas con crema!

I ordered a mangonada but they didn't blend it at all. Gave me frozen mangos... I gotta wait for it to melt to even drink it

Aqua frescas! Get it on ice!

This is a great spot to get fresh fruit to go for much less! Fresh cut kiwi , grapefruit , coconut, strawberries, watermelon , you name it! You can get 3 fruits (med size) to go for about $3. Not bad! They also have aqua frescas, which I love! Try the watermelon with lemon mixed! But, it doesn't stop there! They also have cakes, pie, whole fruit to be purchased for less, chocolate covered strawberries , fruit smoothies, etc. I'm so glad I found this place!

I am so happy that someone recommended Fruteria Cano to me. I really hate myself everyday that I go to Starbucks and buy a coffee and a pastry and I end up spending $9 AND having 800 calories before lunch. Fruteria cano is a healthier alternative to a rushed/on the go breakfast. I love to go in the morning for a $4.50 huge plate of fruit with yogurt and granola. Their licuados (smoothies) are also great. They could basically make you a fresh squeezed juice or smoothie while you wait. I used to go to The Juice bar and spend like $9 for a smoothie, what a sucker! Fruit is expensive, so I don't mind paying their prices. I think that if you are someone that doesn't mind paying $5 for coffee in order to hold a fancy cup, then it's hypocritical to complaint about the price of a huge plate of fruit. I have not yet tried their other snacks, but I know I will.

This is the place to get the most authentic Mexican snacks and fresh fruit. I came specifically for the rusa but I heard great things about the fresas and crema. I had to get it. I knew I couldnt finish them both but I got them anyway. I don't regret my decision at all! The Rusa is a mix of chamoy with sprite/club soda with fruits and extra chamoy on top. The cup is never big enough! The fruits are always overflowing and so much to enjoy. It comes with a chamoy straw. It is such a nice extra touch. Rusa was about $5.50. Strawberry was also around $5.50. I got a small but she gave me a lot!!!! the cream was oozing out the container. That could easily be shared between three or four people. You will get your money's worth here!

Great fruit, always fresh. The service is fast and straight to the point. When you walk in it's like stepping into Mexico.

On October 18, 2025, I purchased live blue crabs from this store. The crabs appeared active when sold, but after cooking them the same day, I immediately noticed a strong ammonia odor coming from the meat. This is a clear sign of spoilage and improper seafood handling. The crabs were completely inedible and had to be discarded. Concerned about food safety and quality control, I reached out to the store through their WeChat group (where they promote products and communicate with customers). Instead of receiving an apology or offer for refund or replacement, the owner responded with an extremely rude and dismissive attitude. They showed no accountability, no concern for customer health, and made no effort to resolve the issue. Shockingly, when I continued to explain the situation, the owner even threatened to "sue me" simply for sharing my honest experience and concerns about food safety. This response was unprofessional and intimidating. I was not asking for anything unreasonable--just acknowledgment and responsibility for selling spoiled seafood. Every customer deserves to be treated with basic respect when raising a valid concern, but the way this business handled the matter was both disappointing and irresponsible. I have since reported this incident to the relevant food safety authorities for further investigation, as seafood freshness is not a small issue--it directly affects consumer health. I hope this review serves as a warning for others to be cautious when purchasing from this store. Selling spoiled food, responding rudely, and threatening customers who speak up is completely unacceptable. Businesses that handle perishable products should prioritize honesty, safety, and respect for their customers--these are the true foundations of trust and reputation.

A friend in the grocery store business told me their orange juice is made by Borden's. I like how it tastes, better than any brand. There's a huge selection of snacks, right when you walk in. Very fresh nuts, and never crushed pretzels are what I buy. I recommend their meats, cheeses, and milk, too. I love their box of frozen cream puffs for $5. I want to try more frozen foods from Aldi, since the prices are so attractive, and they have family sized packages. Don't buy the frozen shrimp. It's wattery, and mostly tasteless. I wouldn't recommend the packaged jalapeños or any fruit or vegetable that will over-ripen inside a sealed package. The beer and wine are not very high quality. Aldi is also a good place to work, I understand. They pay well, have good benefits, and take their business ethics very seriously. It's a German company that also owns Trader Joe's stores.

If you are looking for a way to hedge the current inflationary situation, it appears Aldi just might be able to help. This being my first visit here, it appears Aldi's business model is to hold costs down and pass savings onto the customer. For example, they essentially "vend" lend you a cart for 25 cents, but give it back to you when you return the cart. Seems cheesy, but it's the only grocery store I have ever been to that there were NO carts in the parking lot. This saves them labor of having someone to round up carts. This place is not fancy either. There cannot be a lot of overhead on the place. It feels like an off brand convenience store more than a fancy grocery store. The food they carry is not always the the brand you might be looking for or be familiar with but it looks the same. For example, their brand of fudge stripe cookies does not have elves on the wrapper, but it's yellow and red, just like the brand you may be more familiar with. They were easier on the budget too! The downside for me was that the shelves were not neatly organized and everything made me feel like I was taking on chance on similar products that might not be the same as I am used to. However, those fudge stripe cookies I mentioned earlier...they were not too shabby!

The staff was friendly and respectful, and service was impressively fast. My mom and I stepped outside for literally a minute after ordering, and when we came back, our drinks were already ready. That said, it did taste a bit like a rush order. Drinks: * Coffee: solid and enjoyable--no complaints there. * Matcha: unfortunately mediocre. Dallas isn't exactly a matcha city, and this one confirmed it. Very lip-smacking and not something I'd order again. Vibe: Where this place really shines. Super cute ambiance, great music playing, and a warm, inviting atmosphere. There were plenty of people working behind the counter--even during a slower moment--so it feels like they could easily handle a crowd. Food: Didn't try it this time, but everything looked great and there was a nice variety. Overall, I'd 100% come back, especially to work or relax. I'd just skip the matcha next time and stick to coffee. Fantastic ambiance, good service, and a space that makes you want to stay awhile
