Man oh man what a very impressive beginning. Wouldn't you know that being a former texan, liking country music, wearing cowboy boots and having a bit of a twang that I'd like barbecue? Surprisingly I do and I've had this day marked on my calendar for a minute. Barbecue on a macro scale is not easy, there are so many different moving parts that dropping anyone could be disastrous. Kristine's Kitchen on its first try is already a home run in our book. The Smoked Chicken Skewers was flavorful, tender, juicy and perfectly seasoned. The Brisket was different than I've ever had it, much firmer, and I think I want it this way from now on it was amazing. The cornbread contained a perfect blend of Jalapeño and honey , not rough on even the most sensitive of pallets. The Coleslaw tasty, both still crunchy and wet. Last but not least was the Smoked Cheddar Mac & Cheese more than just a great accompaniment that even held a remnant of a zing. The barbecue sauce was so good it should be illegal. I was also very impressed with the portions, prices, professionalism and presentation which is also very difficult to master on your first day. I highly recommend you follow them and make plans to get your barbecue on next time they're cooking. Better yet call ahead and put an order in, we will! Thank you Kristine's! Please share this, if you dare!
