I was very hesitant on leaving this review because Dr. Bui had been my dentist for over a couple…read moreyears , i went in for a couple fills while he was working on me the syringe with BLUE ETCHING GEL popped open and fell in my mouth and on the side of my lip/face. Him and his assistant both gasped but didn't say anything to me , he wiped away at my lip and continued to work i started to feel a burning/painful sensation on my lip but because he didn't say anything i didn't want to be that annoying patient and figured it was just the numbing wearing off and him tugging at my lip that was causing the weird sensation . When i left he said bye don't forget to make your next appointment again not mentioning to me that my lip was super swollen and looked like it was burned. I went home and googled what it was that fell on my face and it says that it gets on the skin it's to be WASHED OFF immediately , he did not use any water for my lip/face again he just wiped it off with his glove. I spent the several weeks having to deal with this painful burn, i could barely open my mouth to talk and eat because it would cause the scabs to bleed . I now have a permanent scar and i did message the office and sent a picture they told me to come in so he can look at it but i was just so upset and mad at the fact that he didn't say anything as i was leaving knowing he was letting me walk out looking crazy with out a "hey btw, this is what happened " or to not even rinse it off knowing it can cause severe burns . I have a dentist apt for the first time since this incident and i have the worse anxiety, that's why I'm writing the review because it's not fair that i now have severe anxiety over a simple dentist visit and a permanent scar .

In the Last 25 years, my wife and I have been to five different Dental Offices for primary general…read moredental care at a minimum of twice annually as prescribed. In time, each of these offices became less transparent and more business-like with each upsell presented on a regular basis. We have been advised of a need for unnecessary dental work such as "Deep Cleaning, Gum Grafting and Flap Surgery, Dental Sealant, and additional x-rays." The upselling became the norm in each of these offices. After that, my wife started a search for another General Dentistry Office in the Irvine/Tustin areas. One of her many calls was to Trinity Dental Arts Office, Dr. Arsany Labib, DDS. She spoke with the Office Manager Juliet that day over a year and a half ago. Juliet answered a flurry of questions my wife had. In particular, we had suddenly been told that we needed "Deep Cleanings" by the previous Dental Office on Redhill. We had never had issues with our cleanings. Suddenly we need more thorough cleanings and were told that going forward we would always require a Deep Cleaning. Juliet responded to this inquiry by stating that the dentist, Dr. Labib would make a determination about necessity. Based on her experience with other new patients, this likely would not be necessary and appeared to be an upsell. Juliet advised us that due to my being on a blood thinner, the office required written consent from my Primary Care Internist to occasionally go off of the blood thinner for three days prior to my cleaning to minimize any bleeding from the gums. No other dentist had ever required this, however this is a thoughtful and necessary precaution for both the patient's care and the dentist liability. My Internist stated that I had a very mindful dentist who was taking great care and precautions on my behalf. If you have had similar experiences with General Dentists that are either Corporate in structure or too much of a business rather than a Dental Care Office, we don't think you can find a more professional, compassionate, and truly honest dentist than Dr. Arsany Labib, DDS. His character and expertise are directly reflected in his remarkable staff. Juliet is the Office Manager, supported by Dental Assistant Nancy, Marty, Maricruz, front office Joanna, and Annie. We no longer dread going bi-annually to the dentist for our check-ups. We look forward to our visits at Trinity Dental Arts.

(Then I found out they billed my insurance for X-rays etc to the tune of a thousand dollars? Not that big of a deal to me as I didn't have a copay...) What knocked it down a notch? After they checked my dental insurance the said that I had no coverage as records (?) indicated it was replaced in 2023? Huh? Wrong tooth and wrong cap. Estimated replacement cost would be $1,100 plus the possibility of needing a $325 root canal? I almost pulled the trigger but the 2023 "replacement" had me scratching my head. So I went back to Dr Wu on Irvine Blvd and my copay was only $425!!!

Unfortunately, my spouse had a very disappointing experience with Dr. Mazloumi…read more Several months ago, this doctor treated two of my spouse's teeth. He said both teeth required root canals followed by crowns. Soon after the first crown was placed, it fractured. At first, the doctor refused to accept responsibility, even though it had been only a few months since the work was done. He insisted that my spouse would have to pay again for the crown. After much discussion, he reluctantly agreed to repair it. Later, during a routine cleaning with another dentist, we were told that the root canal on that tooth had not been done properly and might even have been performed on a tooth that was already fractured. When we contacted Dr. Mazloumi again, he dismissed our concerns and assured us everything was fine. Recently, my spouse developed severe tooth pain. A specialist examined the tooth and confirmed that the root canal and filling had not been completed correctly. My spouse now needs a new root canal, filling, and crown. Unfortunately, the adjacent tooth--also treated by Dr. Mazloumi--appears to have been fractured at the time of treatment and simply covered with a crown. This tooth is now causing intense pain and must be extracted and replaced with an implant. In our experience, Dr. Mazloumi performs procedures outside his true area of expertise and does not accept responsibility when his work is unsatisfactory. Moreover, the final cost was significantly higher than the original estimate, and when questioned, he denied ever quoting the initial price. Based on this, we believe his skills may be limited to basic cleanings or simple fillings, and we cannot recommend him for specialized procedures such as root canals or crowns.
