Called at 7:30 that evening on my way for them to tell me they were being shipped in their stupid express fill and wouldn't be delivered until the next day. When I asked if they could fill them tonight as I was told previously I could pick up that evening she said they didn't have the medication, which I assume means they just didn't want to fill it considering I was told that morning it wouldn't be a problem to pick up that evening. Apparently patients getting their medications isn't particularly important to this location, go somewhere else.

I didn't catch his name unfortunately but wanted to give him a shout out nonetheless. I overheard him on the phone with what sounded like an irate customer while I waited and he treated them with patience, courtesy and a confident knowledge of his craft. When it came my turn, ( which was only a few minutes as he finished up the phonecall) he repeatedly apologized for my short wait as he immediately recognized my appointment. He took my insurance information and had fill out paperwork in a very timely fashion. He was polite and smiling the entire time, and made me feel very important. Even as he gave my shot he was sure to make me feel comfortable and even asked about my day. He was absolutely wonderful. Thorough in his job, very pleasant and put me at ease over the whole process. I would recommend anyone needing a vaccination or having any questions about medication to the pharmacist at this location. 5 stars for you!

So, I thought that I would start fresh and transfer the medication to OptumRx on Friday. OptumRx said it would take 7-10 days for transfer. On the following Wednesday I went to pick up the already filled medication at Walgreens. They said there wasn't anything to pick up because they received a transfer request by OptumRx on Monday (June 1st) so Walgreens cancelled the already filled prescription saying that now being transferred, Walgreens doesn't have a valid prescription.
