I placed an order for a prescription refill, received voice mail and text that is was ready for pickup. Upon arriving at the Washington Ave. store to be met with a closed pharmacy. There was no pharmacist so the sign said no prescriptions could be picked up. Very inconvenient! read more

I tried to shop here but I literally couldn't give them my money. If I could give zero stars I would. I came in to get my vaccination, which went perfectly fine. With my proof of vaccination and receipt I received two coupons, one for $10 Walgreens rewards on a $1 purchase, one for $5 rewards on a $10 purchase m That's like $15 of free money for getting my vac there, because there's always stuff I need there, like fish oil. So I go to use my coupons, but because the pharmacy printer was low on ink, they weren't scannable. I waited for FIFTEEN VERY LONG MINUTES while there people tried to sort it out. They finely figure out how to ring it, only for their machine say my FSA card wouldn't work. I pointed out that everything I bought was marked OTC FSA/HRA eligible. I pointed out that I had purchased items just like this recently at CVS, and DID SO WITH MY FSA CARD. They said it must be a problem with my card, nothing else they could do. By now a half hour had gone by. This isn't the fault of the employees, BTW. They were polite and doing their best. THIS ball of fetid weasel droppings is a fault of what we call CASCADING SYSTEMS FAILURES, with poor communication, unclear marketing, lack of employee support, poor systems planning, integration, and implementation, and an ultimate poor result. I'll be back because what else can I do now that all independent pharmacies are gone? CVS is even worse, if one can fathom that, and the grocery chain pharmacies are a cruel joke. But I hate it. I hate being forced to shop at an outlet of a trillion dollar company ROLLING in dough that can't be bothered to get their enterprise systems integration to work at a minimally competent level. They spend more on marketing about the wonders of their kakistocratic customer service than they spend to provide actual minimally sufficient customer service. My doctor says I have too much irony in my diet. Pathetic. I haven't even mentioned all the products out of stock or the lack of variety, or outrageously high pricing that makes being mugged by Genghis Khan and his steppe warriors look like a nice shopping trip followed by a spa brunch with friends. read more

This Walgreen's is close to my work and convenient for picking up sundries. Being older and in a smaller town, it does not have the variety in selection that I am use to in the big city. However, I have found alternative items to meet my needs. The staff is friendly in the early morning hours, much more then their rival across the street. Glad it is in my work hood, it has come in handy. read more

Excuse my French.... But what a freaking clusterfuck. Every time I've been here, it precedes with the two customers in front of me cussing out the workers because either they fucked up, or the Walgreens system fucked up. It's always been a nightmare to get anything filled here, but tonight was the final straw. I had a new prescription for a controlled substance. The girl working the counter felt it fitting to yell through the pharmacy asking if it was in stock. OK, awesome. Now everyone knows what I'm there to get, it it's not exactly something I want to evade HIPPA laws. Fuck you. Says it'll be two hours... MMMMKAY? So it's going to take two hours for a pharmacist to put 20 pills in a bottle? Awesome. Go home, two hours later call the pharmacy to see if my prescription is ready. Nobody will answer the phone. Sit on hold for 20 minutes. Get sick of waiting, so head on down there. Guess what... It's not ready. We sit, and sit, and sit.... More than an hour we're told, "OH, the pharmacist just needs to get it out of the safe." ... So, that apparently takes nearly four hours to happen. Meanwhile, I sit and listen to the workers there fuck up ever other order to the point, like clockwork, the customer yells, "This is bullshit!" and walks out. Worst pharmacy ever. Don't do it. I really like this store. They have the friendliest employees who are always available & offering help. They are very good at having their advertised items available when I go in, unlike some of their competitors. They do need more help at the checkout counters, though. I was in after church on Sunday, and there were 8 people ahead of me in line. The sweet girl checking customers out kept her cool & a smile on her face even though not everyone was nice to her. read more
