She has even rung up my entire order and said nothing just handed me the receipt. The customer prior to me received a chatter box compared to how I was treated thank you and have a good day... I wonder if it's because I am a brown person. She needs to seek employment that doesn't require her to work with the public. There have been times when I see her and Kevin in the store and I turn around and walkout because I know the customer service is pure trash, just resting witch face. I have previously spoke with management about their behavior, nothing changed. Kevin did improve but Sandy is worse. It's crazy that I waste time and gas to avoid them and go to Dierbergs near Olive and Craig. The customer service there is wonderful. The staff are familiar with my entire family. This is the community my children grew up in and still reside as young adults. They have experienced the poor customer service from Sandy also. I don't want to give up on this location, but it seems there is no other choice. This has been a problem for a few years, I purchased a home closer to this location, but I may just have to take my business to Schnucks across the street. I will not continue to put up with this behavior when I'm spending money that contributes to Sandy's paycheck. Sandy may need to retire she seems to be a prejudice angry old lady. Management really needs to address Sandy and her customer service issues.

My co-worker was ordering fried fish for lunch quite often and I was able to try it. They were frying fish to perfection. So I started ordering fish as well. The lady in seafood, Susie is who you want to ask for. She's super sweet and helpful and will assist you with getting your needs taken care of. The seafood department is small compared to other locations. The produce section is quite lacking. I prefer to purchase my fruit and veggies from another location or even another store. The bagged lettuce is usually watery even for bags dated out a week or two. The vegetables and fruit are poor quality. And the selection is slim compared to other stores. I do like that they have Dolly Parton's frozen food options and it's usually on sale. I do like a few of the Deitz & Watson lunch meats (Hot Honey Chicken, Black Forest Turkey and Buffalo Chicken), two solid options and uniquely flavorful. The pickles in the deli are old, not fresh and crisp as they should be. They are still $1. The Deli Manager, Julie is rude and super unprofessional and hostile towards her co-workers. We witnessed her yelling at an employee in front of customers, completely degrading and speaking down to him. If she's this comfortable acting like that in front of customers, this tells me that she's been doing this for awhile and getting away with these deplorable actions. Shame on upper management for continuing to allow this behavior. The sushi at the sushi station looks super questionable and you see it is not fresh. I'd advise going to Dierberg's. One saving grace is that I was able to find Cornish hens on sale for Thanksgiving as well as a boneless turkey with dark and white meat, also on sale.
