Instead of crossing over to QT, I figured that I could use a car wash anyways and decided to fill up here. The car wash was normally priced $6 for a basic wash, and with my savings on fuel it ended up costing about $4, not a huge savings but it was something. Anyways the pumps were clean and easy to use, however I did not step inside. When I pulled around to use the car wash I discovered that the machine was slow, very slow, I mean it took nearly 15+ minutes to do 3 cars ahead of me. And to make matters worse while waiting for the car in front of me to finish I could see mold growing on the machine, it was a mess. Hopefully the inside of this station is maintained better than a machine that is meant to keep the outside of your car so fresh and so clean.

The catch is that this particular store does not feel the need to keep either of these fresh and/or ready. Being across the street from a QT, the difference in customer service is clear and disappointing.

I'm enjoying exploring and discovering where my favorite items are and discovering new ones in the process. One of the things that I really like about this location is the extensive prepared food department. My Schnucks in Illinois had a very small and limited offerings. Having the prepared foods, makes it easy for a single person to an easy and quick meal. The produce is fresh and well presented. I also like that their seafood case is larger than my previous store. I'm trying to eat more fish, so this is a big plus for me. However, when I'm craving that red meat, their butcher case is impressive, too. Another thing that impresses me at this location is the customer service. All the staff is friendly and as a new shopper, when I ask for assistance or need help finding a specific item, they're ready to assist. This should be a training store for Schnucks. If so, all their stores would rock.
