I called this morning and they answered the phone and said they would not be open until noon and then hung up in my face when I asked for the number to corporate. No sign on the door or nothing saying that they're not gonna open until noon. I waited outside those doors for 30 minutes waiting for them to open. This is absolutely ridiculous and completely unprofessional, and I believe illegal in the state of Missouri.

This is the only large grocery in Downtown St. Louis. The area around is quite deserted on weekends…read morewith a police presence outside the store since it seems to attract sketchy characters. The store itself is decent, not great. There is a pharmacy in the back of the store, but it wasn't open either time I visited. The product selection is sufficient as it has fresh produce and meats. There is also a deli that offers hot food. Prices are good as well. If you are staying at a hotel nearby, this is very convenient and will have what you need. But if you are living in the area, you will probably want to shop around since you may not find everything you need here.

After I completed fueling I wanted a receipt for my purchase, the pump display said to see the cashier. Walk-in vending machine for the 200th review- all to replace Apu!…read more http://www.lyricspedia.com/simpsons/who-needs-the-kwik-e-mart-lyrics/ I wanted to find a interesting business for the my great landmark in yelping. (I find this funny because I did not pay attention to what I reviewed for the 100th) The business was presented to me as the first self serve mini-market in St Louis. Think of this as part mini-market & part walk-in vending machine. No teller to greet you, thank you or wish you a good day. Just a faceless black box to scan your items then take your account info, credit card or foldable cash (no coin). While the 24 hour (with access to building) convenient ability of buying sandwiches, salads, chips, drinks, ice cream, gum and cereal sounds great... I still feel like I am cheating someone out of a job. I decided to buy a pack of gum with no price on it, but it was $1.99 plus tax & two packs came up on the screen. I decided that was telling me I did not need the gum. The $3.99 salad (pic) looked better than anything I have seen come out of a vending machine. The ice cream was only $1.39. I just keep thinking I am going to see "The Simpsons" episode with Apu being replaced by a black box. What is going to happen to all those babies? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eight_Misbehavin'

It's clean and attractive. The pump worked great and no issues with my credit card. The wash was dirty however, towels were empty in some and present in others. On another visit an employee was emptying trash I did go inside on a recent and service and as very friendly. The brightest spot was the men's room which was fresh, clean and new. Everything worked and trash was maintained. Proper supply of toilet paper was present. I'm sure I will be back. 4.5 rounding down with pump wash issue and trash.
