So when the light turned green, I pulled into the QT lot and up to one of their many pumps. The old man who pumped my gas was fast and efficient. He even printed a receipt for my records. I had to call in and wait for them to call our Doctor Who wrote the prescription to make sure the doctor did his job before they would fill the prescription. In my mind, it is not their job to hold prescriptions up from someone having surgery while they decide to contact the doctor which they didn't do until I called and asked why they were worth holding the prescription and was told the pharmacist has put a hold on the prescription. I do not feel that the pharmacy should be acting like a doctor when a prescription is called in by a doctor to their pharmacy.
