She takes extra time to educate on the process and explain after care. The day I found her Facebook page with all her previous nail designs, I knew I was in heaven. Not only did she have some of the most beautiful glitter combinations, but she took an extreme amount of pride in her NEW shop. I have been going to Krystal for over a year now she is the only nail tech I will go to at this point. She is awesome company to keep and she sets aside a two hour window just to work on your nails. I love how personalized my service is with her and I can't see myself going to anybody else. I get mine done once a month (yes lady's my acrylics do last that long). She uses top quality materials and can put just about anything in or on your nails that you want to all your constrained by is your imagination. I love Krystal. Ok first off, I've never yelped a business so fast in my life. I normally give myself at least 24 hours before I Yelp someone because I never like to be irrational. But I am SO not happy that I cannot wait. I happened to find this establishment by pure chance. I was trying to kill time while my car was being worked on and happen to find this business was right by me. Perfect! I can kill two birds with one stone! After walking a short walk and finding the place by chance, it's kinda tucked back and not a location you expect for a nail place; I awkwardly stumbled into the business. At first I was unsure of if I walked into a nail salon or a place to buy supplies. After a very "I'm lost" conversation, Kristal informed me that I was in fact in the right place and "I was lucky cause she was just about to leave." So off to the color wall I went. After showing Kristal this design I saw on Pinterest, she informed me that she had a stamp that could do the flower but she doesn't do hand designs. First red flag. So I show her another, far more simple design and asked if she could do it but with the Niners colors (it is football season after all). She said yes and after selecting our perfect color scheme, we were off to start my manicure. Right away Kristal just starts filing my nails. No questions about the length or shape I wanted were asked. Of course I mention that I like my nails short because I notice she isn't trimming them. This would be fine if I wanted that length but the nails on my left hand were far more long then the nails on my right hand. And they really need to be trimmed down so they could grow evenly. But after mentioning I like a natural length, Kristal went back and filed them some more until I finally just said the length was fine. At this point I'm pretty annoyed but not showing it because I thought maybe she was just starting the process of getting the shape and length I wanted...I was wrong. She then went on and painted them which looks awful. The white is streaky, the glitter looks awful, and the stripes are subpar at best. There is paint on my fingers. Needless to say, i really like Kristal's demeanor and friendly attitude but my nails look less then stellar. So I won't be going back or recommending anyone here. read more

I've been meaning to write this review since my wedding 3 weeks ago but life has been crazy!! Krystal did my nails for my wedding day, and they were absolutely stunning. My wedding was on October 19th and I am writing this on November 6th - my nails still look amazing. Obviously they have grown some and I'm in need of a fill but not a single stone or aspect of the design has deteriorated. And since I live in San Jose I am hesitant to let anyone fix them...I'm holding out, hoping I will have a chance to make it back to Sac to have Krystal fix them up for me just in time for Thanksgiving. Krystal did such an amazing job, she listened to exactly what I wanted, did a custom combination of 4 different kinds and colors of glitter for me, and came up with a design that suited me and the vision I had for my wedding. I was truly impressed, and I am still getting compliments on my nails from girls who are disappointed that Krystal is not here in the South Bay area. The only downside was that the appointment ran a little long, but you can't rush perfection. I will have to make up excuses to drive to Sacramento to get my nails done more often, and I'm not the kind of girl that gets her nails done except for special occasions (like my wedding) but Krystal has made a convert of me. Just one look at her wall of glitter and you will become a convert too!!! read more

She has since opened her own salon/supply store which is absolutely amazing!! the set up is great, she has amazing nail products to offer. Its a women's fantasy, If your looking for unique, fun, glitter or just simply awesome nails with quality customer service to match, then you have found the right place. I usually get gel polish on my figures which last about a month or so and when I go to get them redone there is usually never any chipping, just the usual grow out of my nail. I love it, When I do decide to get fabulous glitter nails I always have such a hard time deciding what I want she has sooo much awesome stuff including 3D charms, inserts, studs, chains, flowers, you name it she can probably do it.The even better part tho is that if she ever by chance doesn't know exactly how to do what you want (which doesn't happen often) she will tell you and work with you unlike most chop shop salons that tell you they can do something and then at the end when its all done and the nails are on they are nothing like you wanted.
