The famous Krispy pizza - get great Brooklyn pizza right in NJ. We either get the grandma or the vodka pie with onions, and it is always so delicious, have to indulge in at least 3 slices minimum. Though we usually take out, we have dined inside before as well. Usually busy with a lot of families in for dinner, we have tried the balsamic chicken salad and it was very fresh and enjoyable. Amazing pizza! This is a must try! The prices are good and the service was amazing. At first, we was wondering why the waitress was practically throwing stuff on my table but realized that she was young and speedy. She just wanted to get attended to all her tables. We ordered the cheesy bread and it came with only marinara, so she came back twice each time with the vodka sauce and the pesto sauce. After that she returned multple times to see if we needed anything else (refills, sauces, grated cheese, etc.). The ambiance was interesting with the areas of Brooklyn noted on the wall. Since I just moved from Brooklyn after living there 50 years, this brings memories of the area I watch transpired. Grew up in Brooklyn and have had pizza from the original. When I saw them in NJ we wanted to try it. Especially with all the videos on you tube. Today placed an order for pick up. I wanted it to be good since it's a 25 minute drive. We ordered a square and a round. Both were under cooked. Under cooked. Regular cooked we could have tolerated. I'm going to give this place a solid 5 stars all around. I don't even know if I gave my favorite pizza place 5 stars. The store was welcoming and inviting, as were all the staff we encountered. Happy to tell you what each of their 15 pizzas had on it. In addition to pizzas, they had rice balls and about 10 different kinds of rolls to choose from. The selection was endless for 2pm on a summer Sunday. We ended up with a Vodka Ziti slice, White Slice and a Cheesesteak w/ peppers & onions slice. They were all delicious and fittingly "krispy." They keep the slices in the oven for a little longer than most places and it makes a huge difference. Pizza should always be crispy! Top notch service and delicious crispy crust pizza. If you're in the area Krispy Pizza is definitely a great spot to eat. We've ordered pizza at home a few times but finally decided to sit down and eat. The parking lot looks small but wraps around the back and there is an entrance from the rear. If you're looking to eat there just grab a seat. Otherwise you can place your order at the counter. Our waitress was excellent. She was friendly and consistently refilled all of our cups before they were empty. Of course we ordered pizza but we also ordered a few appetizers. We ordered the calamari and baked clams and they were both delicious. Will definitely be back to eat in again soon. read more

1st I would like to say that the original location in Dyker Heights is my favorite pie in the world. Have been there many times over the years & everytime is a 10/10 whether you get pizza, hero's, calzone, entrees you name it. We were in Old Bridge recently & figured we'd check out the Old Bridge Krispy Pizza location. Being totally honest, the food just doesn't taste the same as the Brooklyn location. The pizza sauce tastes completely different & awful. They were out of XL size pies, so we had to get L pies to go but were still charged the price for the XL. I'll just stick to the Dyker Heights location from now on. read more

I have to say we used to be a huge fan of Krispy pizza but this is the second time where we were greatly disappointed .. we call to place an order and opted for pickup as the delivery was greater than 2 hours I get told 40 min on the phone I get there and 1 hour and 10 min my pizza still isn't ready as a matter of fact it's being placed in the oven as I'm standing there waiting .. The best! Love this family owned business. Always busy and yet never sacrificing on quality! The best marinara pie around!

So every now and then, my mom's department at work likes to order lunch for the team. Because she's in healthcare, it's more a token of appreciation for the amount of hard work. But it can also be birthdays, baby showers, etc etc. The Panera & Chipotle catering options were there. But in recent months, we'd get a nice and pleasant surprise at home with a few slices of pizza from Krispy, the new go-to for her department. The most important caveat to this review is that I didn't pay a dime for the pizza and I enjoyed the pizza nearly 7 hours after the fact (or as a leftover on a subsequent day). I've been lucky enough to try a few different slices over time, so I'll evaluate each slice based on initial taste and subsequent reheat value. Note that I believe all the pies are XL in size. 1) Plain Cheese: As expected, the plain cheese pie remains undefeated when delivered piping hot. I didn't enjoy that luxury, but a nice couple minutes of reheating in the convection oven did the trick. These are big enough to definitely enjoy 2 for lunch, though even 1 can fill up many people if you have a salad or something else on the side. At $16, this is definitely the most economical of pies. As for next day or future day reheating, this slice is solid, even if the crusts do become quite crispy - a general limitation of ordering pies like these compared to the bigbox chain pizzas that are thicker, but much inferior in quality. This is a 5/5 star for me. 2) White Pizza: Unlike the plain pie, their white pizza is a bit thicker. This helps with the future reheat value. The white pizza is a solid alternative, even if it definitely feels a bit heavier due to the ricotta. Even 1 slice of this is more than plenty for me - despite being a pizza aficionado. Unlike the cheese slice, this one does require some extra time to reheat in the oven, but that's no major issue. At $20, this is generally a hard sell for an average family, unless you consider the likelihood that you will have some leftovers. This is like a 4.5 to 5 starts for me. 3) White pizza with broccoli: So one of my no-nos with pizzas is adding a lot of vegetables to pizzas. I love my vegetables separately, but on pizza is where I have an issue, for reasons I'll explain later. Onions, green peppers, jalapenos, olives are fine. They blend in well with the pizza. Other veggies are best left eaten separately in other dishes or steamed/grilled/however else you like it. White pizza with broccoli is basically similar to the white pizza, but of course with broccoli. At $22 a pie, that's really becoming unreachable even with consideration of leftovers. I just find the broccoli florets to be an unnecessary addition to the white pizza. Makes it extra heavy and they don't always reheat well. But others do like it. Thus, this is a 4/5 for me. 4) Primavera Pizza: Sorry, but this was the worst of them all. I just found that the vegetables made the pizza soggy. It's a heavy slice due to the veggies, but the eggplant, squash, and zucchini just make the pie overloaded with veggies. At $26, this is definitely a no for me. But because I'm nice, this was like a 3/5 for me. So overall a 4/5. I get why my mom's coworkers enjoy the pizza though. I probably would too if I were in their shoes. read more

Very oily after blotting several times because of the cheap rubber cheese they are using. Removed half the cheese. Very little sauce and tasteless. Discarded most of it. The crust...far from (K) crispy. They do have customers so maybe some of the other items are good or it's the only place in town. Ordered two slices of plain for the kids and a bbq chicken pizza for the hubby and I. It was a little overcooked, but still delicious. The chicken was breaded and seasoned perfectly. I hate a chicken pizza where the chicken is bland.. It had red onions, bbq sauce, breaded chicken...yum! It was even better the next day! Yesterday, my daughter's choice for her special first day of school meal with pizza specifically from Krispy Pizza.. so, two days later, we were back. My husband got a Krispini (like a panini sandwich, I suppose) it came with a balsamic dressing type sauce and he raved about it. I ordered fried zucchini, stuffed eggplant, and a vodka slice... YUM, YUM, YUM! I love fried zucchini and this hit the spot... very light coating with a delicious marinara sauce for dipping.. I inhaled most of it in one sitting.. the vodka pizza... I finished that with skipping a beat, even including the crust. Today, we had the stuffed eggplant for dinner.. it's quite a serving. And oh my goodness... it's stuffed with rice and peas and topped with their signature marinara and tons of mozzarella. Such a meal and it's ordered as an appetizer.
