Got a white pie Thursday night - way too much cheese. It was just a THICCCCK layer of congealed mozzarella and a little splash of ricotta. No seasoning. The pizza crust was NOT KRISPY. The eggplant rollitini was very wet. Didn't stay together. Drowning in cheese as well To top it off, a few hours later i got food poisoning. I have no idea why the reviews of this place are so high. First off, delivery last night took 2 hours! It said 1 hour when I ordered at 6, which would have been fine. I used the tracker feature on the website and it said my food left at 7, and given that this place is 12 minutes away I figured I was good and didn't need to plan different options for my 2 year old. An hour later the food shows up, right after I made the kid something else. So what did I wait 2 hours for? A cold pile of mushy calamari, complete with an oddly colored orange marinara. A congealed pile of the worst penne vodka I've ever tasted, a bbq chicken pizza with that awful generic "we don't give a shit" bbq sauce some pizza restaurants use, and a pepperoni and sausage pizza I didn't order. Honestly, this food was all cold and terrible. I couldn't possibly encourage anyone to go here. What a mess. read more

Pretty good but not amazing pizza- when you order a fresh pie , but if you're expecting a crispy, super crunchy crust, you may be disappointed (despite the catchy restaurant name). I found the crust to be only mildly crispy, however to be fair if you are going just for a slice and they reheat one of the pre-made a slices, those come out super crispy and are highly enjoyable. KP is now our #1 pizza restaurant! We order pizza around once a month and have tried every place within 10-15 miles. KP is hands down the best. We ordered a round pie with half mushroom, half fried eggplant. It was amazing! The flavor was unlike any pizza I've had before. Something about the quality of the ingredients and seasoning that makes it so good. Also got a chicken parmesan sandwich. I always order one of these when we get pizza so I've eaten a lot of them. The KP version was phenominal! Instead of the usual one hunk of chicken, this had 3-4 thin breaded slices that were delicious! Now I have to say that the chicken parmesan was a bit greasy, but who cares? This is not health food!! It was so so good! I have not had a Krispy Pizza slice in well over 25 years....and I still haven't The Dyker Heights location in Brooklyn used to put out a phenomenal pie. My wife wanted dessert for dinner which brought me to Krispy Pizza across the street from the Carvel in Old Bridge. Having had my fill of pizza over the past few weeks I opted to try their Meatball Parmigiana Hero and an Eggplant roll. The meatball Parmigiana hero rivals Denino's and might even beat it, the eggplant roll was as good as Brothers Eggplant roll on Staten Island. The sandwich was 10 inches loaded with their Homemade meatballs that were a mix of Beef, Veal and Pork with a layer of sauce and mozzarella. The bread was perfectly toasted and delicious. The eggplant roll was excellent, layer fried eggplant, sauce mozzarella and ricotta. Well balanced and scrumptious. There are approximately 20 tables in the restaurant, they have a full menu of Italian cuisine, red sauce Italian if you will. I have Krispy on the list to sit down and have dinner. BYOB, plenty of parking and from what I can tell there is a ton of employees working to keep the restaurant running effectively and efficiently. read more

In East Brunswick I have several options to indulge in pizza and pizzeria food. Krispy Pizza has recently been brought to my attention and that it's worth the ride to OB. My husband doesn't like cheese on his pizza and so I bought him 2 slices of marinara pizza with garlic s&p only and I bought 2 slices of grandma. Traveled home about 12 minutes and we both bit into our slices to the best CRUNCH! not sure how they do it but every bite was delicious and CRUNCHY! yum! Their meals are also delicious. Last night was Chicken Marsala! More local meals have been tough, dry and inedible chicken. KP's chicken is thin, plentiful and tender! Even reheated the next day. Delicious - tons of sauce and mushrooms. The house balsamic vinaigrette is delicious - the olive oil is emulsified so extra yum. Bread - meh. But soak it in the sauce/gravy. 2 thumbs up! read more

After a so-so experience at another local Pizzeria, I decided to give Krispy Pizza a try as it's one of the busier local Pizzerias. Krispy moved to a newly renovated location a few months ago and walking into the restaurant the decor was very cleanly modern. I ordered a Margherita pie and Krispy's Palermo salad. - Margherita was really good with really fresh sprigs of basil, evenly distributed portions of tangy tomato sauce on each slice, and good quality Mozzarella cheese. The crust most certainly lived up to the crispy moniker, as the crust produced a nice audible crackle when I folded it to eat my first slice. My ever so slight knock on the crust was it was quite bland, which I remedied when I reheated a slice in my frying pan using olive oil. - Krispy's Palermo salad was very enjoyable as all the key ingredients were fresh. I loved the roasted red peppers that added heat and spice with some smokiness too. The baby greens and tomatoes had a satisfyingly fresh crunch and bite to them. Several chunks of Mozzarella in the salad were rich and creamy. The raspberry vinaigrette was delicious and something I would buy on it's own. It's super hard to find good pizza in this area but this is hands down one of the best we've had since moving to the area. Sauce is not sweet but savory like how pizza sauce should be. We ordered the Sicilian and man was it super heavy and thick how Sicilian is supposed to be. It was excellent and super hot and fresh. We also ordered garlic knots and a prosciutto ball both were very good. Prices are very reasonable and generous for portion sizes. Service is quick and efficient.
