    My granddaughter loved the pizza
    Warren L.

Came on a rainy Thursday. It was very busy. But we got a booth fairly quickly. Been to Denino in Staten Island and NYC. This one is real good. But not quite the other 2 But still real good pizza Waitress and staff were super nice. Also had the meatballs. They were good. Saw plenty of people bringing some wine to sit in dining room. Channeling my Dave Portnoy. I would give it 8.1. Worth the trip

I don't understand what the hype of this place is. We ordered a half margarita/half sausage both with extra cheese. The pizza dough didn't taste good, and the pie was too burnt. I tasted more charcoal then cheese or sauce. We just thought it was mediocre, and wouldn't come back again.

Stopped by to pick up some quick lunch on 7/5/24 and it was pretty quiet. It was easy to order and there is a very simple menu. French fries were great and so was the penne vodka. The penne vodka did have a sweeter note to it and wasn't as creamy as usual. The "garbage" pie was a bit on the drier end but this place did not skimp on the toppings.

Get the sesame seed crust, you've got to trust me on this. Ask them to put fresh basil on top of a pepperoni pie with sesame crust. I only tell you because I care, pizza fam. And then Ralph's Italian ices for dessert next door. Cash is king. If you're feeling fancy, Italian specialty supermarket further down, to bring home stuff to cook.

    Clam pie. So good.

My fav new pizza spot in NJ. We ordered the clam pie with sesame crust and the garbage pie. The crust was perfectly crispy yet chewy. Tons of clams and other toppings in each pie. Fresh ingredients. High quality cheese. Excellent. We will definitely be back! Easy parking as the restaurant is located in a large shopping center. Ample private parking.

I just noticed my last review was nine years ago so let's get busy about Deninos. Still simply a great pizza place and restaurant the regular pie is great, the sesame pizza is off the charts, if you like scungilli it's also amazing. I can go down the menu but it's too much to list. Just go with your appetite and Manjia

I grew up on Staten Island and I use to go to Denino's out there and right after across the street was the original Ralph's ices! I was so happy that the Denino's is Aberdeen is just like the one on Staten Island! Calamari was spot on crispy and all Rings! Cesar salad was delicious and the pizza was spot on perfect!! The service was excellent and as busy as they are on a Friday night they hustle to get you seat and fed as fast as possible. Pleasant experience all the way from the host, waiteress, servers, and a pleasant greeting from the owner himself. The place has an old style pizzeria feel and to me I love it! I highly recommended this place if you're looking for an excellent slice of pizza.

Great pizza and great service. I recommend getting the clam pizza. I find the sesame crust not necessarily.

Hands down the BEST pizza in town. We also had the shrimp parm with vodka sauce and it was delicious! The service is ok, as they can sometimes be under staffed, but it makes up for it on the food. They have been around forever and word on the street is this location (Aberdeen) is better than the other location (Brick). I will have to test that theory out. This was my third time here, and I'm sure I'll be here again. If you're in the area, I'd definitely try them out. They have a small cozy ambiance, making it feel like you're in grandma's kitchen.

I was so excited to finally try this place but my pizza was burnt and cold and had hardly any toppings on it. Major disappointment.

They also have a pizzeria conveniently located right next door, which is a nice bonus. The service was outstanding--Alessandro was the best! He recommended his signature cocktail, the Orange Cosmopolitan, and all I can say is WOW. Perfectly made and dangerously good--they definitely sneak up on you! He checked in on us throughout the evening, always friendly and engaging, which truly elevated the experience. The food was just as impressive: Pollo Milanese - a perfectly cooked chicken cutlet topped with fresh mozzarella, arugula, cherry tomatoes, onions, shaved Parmesan, and a bright lemon vinaigrette. Pollo Carbonara - topped with prosciutto, spinach, peppers, and fontina cheese, served over penne pasta. Alaska Chicken (special) - stuffed chicken with shrimp, roasted tomatoes, spinach, and cheese in a rich cream sauce, served with saffron risotto. Absolutely delicious. For dessert, we shared a toasted almond cake and a caramel cheesecake cone--paired with cappuccinos, of course. The perfect ending to a great meal. It was a wonderful evening shared with wonderful people, made even better by Alessandro's exceptional service. Highly recommend this restaurant, and we will definitely be back to try more dishes!

What I didn't expect was a full lineup of elevated, abundant, and reasonably priced dinner specials that turned my quick stop into a full-on feast. This place is absolutely not just a pizzeria. I started with the stuffed zucchini appetizer--so fresh and flavorful--and the pork osso buco, which was tender, comforting, and honestly restaurant-quality. From there I tasted the Tuscan haddock, the chicken balsamico, and the pappardelle... every single dish was delicious. Portions are generous too, so come hungry. I left stuffed in the best way. The bar pie? Amazing. Thin, crispy, full of flavor--exactly the kind of pie that deserves attention. Dave Portnoy, you need to get down to Matawan for this one. There is also an area for private gatherings. Another fun surprise: they carry L&B Spumoni by the quart and Nasto's gelato, which is such a treat to see on the menu. If you're in the area, definitely come for the bar pie--but stay for dinner. You'll love it just as much as I did.

The staff is always professional and service is typically quick. Since this establishment does primarily takeout, expect to wait longer Friday-Sunday.
