I love Prima Pizza! They are so nice! Salads are huge and so delicious. Highly recommend

Was in the area and Yelped where to eat and this gem caught my eye, and so happy it did. Was greeted by the friendliest two gentlemen. I Can tell this is a family owned business with a great sized menu. We sat in their quaint outdoor area, upon sitting we were given garlic knots in tomato sauce and sliced cheese. Let me tell you the quality of the cheese, sauce, and knots are out of this world. The gentleman that brought out our food was so nice and attentive. My boys had the chicken cutlet parmigiana on a sandwich size garlic knot. I know it was good without asking them because they didn't talk till they finished it. Lol. They said it was a perfect balance of everything in a sandwich. They raved at how perfect the chicken cutlet was cooked. I had the chicken noodle soup which was awesome. I recommend if you're in the area you have to come here. If not in the area make sure you find sometime to come. I guarantee you will LOVE IT!!!

I live down the street from this place. Food is very good. I have a very high standard. Regular Pizza is a 7.5. Just got a chicken parm sandwich.....honestly one of the best I've had. It was great. Thin chicken, great bread , could have had a little more sauce. I def take it for granted.

    The works, so good.

Great pizza, the service was even better. Definitely the #1 pizza spot in colts neck. I highly recommend the works.

My favorite pizzeria around, if you want top quality food made with love, go see john & nick. They will take care of you, I've had almost every slice & dish here & nobody does it better.

Guy seemed overwhelmed and reluctantly took my order. I showed up 30 min later and no one had any record of my order. I recognized the guy's voice and told him he took my order. He was pissed and got into a shouting match with me with 3 other customers around. He eventually apologized and offered a free side of meatballs and spaghetti (don't order that btw, super underwhelming). 2nd time: Wife placed an order for a pie with half pepperoni on their website. Came back with the order and the pie had full toppings. Small nit but annoying. 3rd time: I called at 6pm on a Thursday. No one picked up. Opted to place order on their website and got the same item as last time. Showed up at and the same miserable guy asked for my name and order... and then said he didn't have any order. I told him I placed an order on the website... and he said "You should have called." with an awful (only a mother can love) grin. I showed him my email confirming 6:20pm pickup time and he said he had no order... before pulling a pie with my name on it. I asked if it had half pepperoni and it didn't. Full toppings AGAIN. Clearly, their website is not equipped to actually take half toppings orders. Pizza is OK but not worth the headache or poor service here.

Pros: - Quick and friendly service - Crunch bottom pizza slices for those who love eating it this way - Opens late on the weekends until 2am - Want coffee?? Dunkin is next door but they close a lot earlier than here Cons: - Limited seating area - Small parking lot but late night there's always a spot Come check them out for a late night slice!

They're an Italian restaurant with a good selection of dishes to meat various diets: salads, pastas, meat dishes, etc. The food was also pretty good, and service was fine. Better Italian food can be found in NJ, not too far away, but the location, quality and price point served our purposes. The servings are generous. I had the "Sunday Supper" (pasta served with red sauce, braciole, sausages, meatballs, and ribs), which I shared with my husband, and even so we had plenty to take home for another meal! I found the decor unusual in that there was a noticeable religious motif. In fact, a life size statue of the a Virgin Mary stood in the corner behind our table observing our little reunion. Odd for a restaurant, but it made for some fun comparing of notes afterwards.

My story - My fiance' and I were in the area for a saltwater fishing trip. We settled into our hotel and needed dinner. We decided on Tramonto's . We had never had their food before but the website looked good and the menu as well.. So we ordered and we used a third party delivery service, not affiliated with these guys, as I found out later. I received a text from the third party delivery person, around the promised time of delivery. The text simply said, " I am here "., but they weren't. I checked the hotel lobby, they weren't there either. I texted the delivery person and said, " Where are you"?. No response.....several more texts....no response. I called the number, which came up as an Alabama number and no one answered. I realized I had been dubbed and my food and generous tip were gone. I was pissed. I called Tramonto's to ask about my order. A lovely woman named, LeeAnna (sp?) answered the phone. I explained my situation to her and she was apologetic as well as sympathetic. She explained to me that the delivery service is a third party and they have no oversite over the food after it leaves their restaurant. She immediately said that she wanted to make it right and 'get us fed"....lol. She called the third party to sort it out while I listened in and the third party had nothing to offer. LeeAnna then offered to remake our order of two pizzas with several toppings,at a discount and get us a total refund (food+fees+ a generous tip) from the awful delivery service. All of this and they were closing in 20 minutes. I arrived 2 minutes before closing and my food was ready and hot. The owner Teddy, LeeAnna's husband shook my hand and apologized several times. Even the staff offered me apologies. They even threw in a brownie and and order of pepperoni garlic knots. So I am not just saying this because they went above and beyond, but because it's true. The pizza was amazing. It was everything I look for in a pizza and believe me, I know my way around some pizzas. The dough was flavorful and cooked perfectly, not soft or too crunchy....perfect. The sauce was bright and the cheese was delicious and the toppings were generous and fresh. And if you do stop in...get....yourself...a....brownie! OMG was that brownie good. They took a very negative situation and made it positive. They made me feel better to know that there are still people in the world that are good and that care. Not only is the food amazing here, the people ten times as amazing . If you are in the Neptune area, you should patronize this business. You will not be disappointed in any way. And....you can call them directly for delivery. Do not use a third party!!!! Thank you, LeeAnna, Teddy, and staff. There aren't many like you. I will see you the next time I'm in town.

So, I decided to give it a try for dinner. They don't accept reservations. I arrived around 6:30 pm on a Friday to avoid crazy wait times, but still had to wait ~40 minutes. I didn't come with kids, but I saw a lot of families waiting. It was a kid friendly space. The inside was quite dim & it kept getting dimmer as the night progressed. I didn't love this, but it didn't bother me as much either. Pizza was delicious, and the bread tasted very fresh. The pictures show an individual pizza size, which we were told might not be big enough to share, but we made it work amongst 3 girls. The group stopped in, casually on a Saturday night - the first thing that my dad asked the staff was whether it was okay to dine there given the way they were dressed - which was nothing fancy, but casual and acceptable. But I guess the staff was bothered by that.. not that they communicated so. The staff could have answered, "no, your attire is not appropriate/ doesn't follow our dress code." We would have left. Truly don't know what the issue was. Service was super rushed. It felt like they didn't want to serve us. The second the appetizer came out she asked us to order dinner. We asked for 5 minutes and she refused us... saying that she had to put the order in at that moment because "dishes may take 45 minutes to cook" and that we "may not get our food"... lol it was laughable... When we asked for water, the waitress said that they didn't have any glasses for the water. What do you mean you don't have any glasses for water? It felt like she was playing a joke or blatantly trying to upset us. Icing on the cake, the waitress served my dad an expired beer. She claimed it was their last can. When he confronted her about the date on the can, she was rude, and did not really seem to care about serving expired alcohol. The manager also brushed us off. So upsetting. I don't ever aim to bash businesses, especially local ones, but it is disappointing to find out that going to restaurants marketed as luxe and upscale doesn't mean you are going to be treated in such a way, at all.
