Sure, the location has changed ownership a handful of times. They've tried dual concepts, from pizza to now Indian food. It's a rough spot for businesses in my opinion, there is very little parking there on Main St. if the spots are already taken up. But I continue to get fried chicken a handful of times a year from here because it's consistent for mass marketed birds. If you are going to do just a handful of things then do them well. And the chicken is about as good as it gets for fast food style. Perfectly seasoned, maybe a tiny hint of spice and cooked to the perfect temp to ensure crispiness. I always get the dark meat, plus it's a little cheaper. I don't understand heathens who swear by white meat that has very little flavor. I tried the tenders one time and was even given one because they are "cajun" style so I wanted to make sure they didn't heat up the mouth of the kids. Flavor is excellent and I didn't taste spice at all. For the sides, the biscuits if freshly cooked are perfect, but they do tend to dry out quickly. My kids love the mac and cheese, it is very very yellow-cheesy and goopy, if that's your style. I'm ok with the mashed potatoes, they are definitely instant and I wish they had more gravy or at least it came on the side like KFC serves. I really like the customer service and camaraderie here. I've been inside before on a busy Friday night and it's mostly Indians chit chatting with one another. It has a very homely feel at times when in reality it shouldn't because it's just a storefront counter selling a handful of items. So let's recap as to how we got to the final score. Food: I got delivery and it was mostly nasty with a few ok things mixed in. Dark meat chicken: Not bad. There was definitely too much cayenne pepper but the chicken was well cooked. Honey biscuit: Very dry and half were burnt. Mashed potatoes w/ gravy: Absolute filth. This didn't taste like a potato or any form of gravy was used in the making of this. I remember when this place first opened in my town, I was excited to try it out. The ads for it looked good, I never had Krispy Krunchy Chicken before, and the KFC that has been near me since I was a kid has gone downhill over the decades, we're talking Alpine Skiing downhill. The only Popeyes in the area was in the next town over but they left years ago for some reason. I wasn't that impressed with the taste of the chicken when I first tried it, kind of strange tasting seasoning they use, not that spicy as Popeyes, but it was usually fresh, large pieces, juicy, and cooked just right every time. So I don't really frequent this establishment too often, but the last time I did, today, will undoubtedly be the last. I went in at noon and ordered 2 breasts and 2 wings for my dinner later that day. It came to almost $13.00. Thanks again President Brandon and the ever rising inflation since you took office. I got out to my truck and peeked inside the paper bag to make sure they got my order right. I thought at first they only gave me 2 pieces of chicken. Nope. The size of the breasts and wings were smaller now. Go Brandon go! At dinnertime I cut open my pieces of chicken, I like cold fried chicken, sometimes it's even better than hot. I could tell right away by the texture and color, pinkish, that it was undercooked. You don't have to have a culinary arts degree or be a Gordon Ramsey wannabe to know that chicken is supposed to be cooked thoroughly, not medium, medium well, or rare. Unless your totally blind or a complete idiot, it's impossible to get steak and chicken mixed up. So I microwaved it for 8 minutes so I could eat it without getting a gut full of Salmonella or Clostridium bacteria. (These are a few of my un-favorite things.) Now it's soggy, greasy, and dry but at least edible so I could at least satisfy my grumbling hunger pains. But those measly little chicken portions didn't cut it. Krispy Krunchy Chicken is a great place to get some fried chicken in Connecticut, so I was excited to find it in Massachusetts. We tried the chicken tender special and found it to be just as good as the ones we've tried in CT. The chicken tasted fresh and crunchy. The breading was tasty and they offer a number of dipping sauces that are great. The waffle fries and honey biscuits were solid too! I ordered a chicken combo with fries. It was pretty good, but nothing special. The chicken wasn't too greasy and the breading was flavorful enough. Mine seemed to be cooked (unlike some other reviews state). Definitely better than Popeye's/KFC but not as good as a local chicken place from somewhere like Lawrence. We decided to try this place for lunch. We ordered a bunch of sides to try them as well as fried chicken. They do have a serious temperature problem which is a concern for food safety. That is a problem they need tho solve ASAP before they make someone sick. Now to the food: I got a breast and a wing. They live up to their name because it was indeed crispy and crunchy. The breast was the big test for moistness - and it passed. No dry chicken there. The wing was good as well. The coating is a tad too salty but it has a little cayenne kick to it. My wife loved her thigh and wing " crispy, juicy". The sides: biscuits were a bit on the dry side and fell apart. They have a sweetness on top that I find a little off-putting, but overall they were just OK. Mashed potatoes, like KFC's are instant and the gravy is just awful. It has a weird after-taste. The mac and cheese was bad as well. I can do better with a box of Kraft. The fact that it wasn't even close to hot just made it worse. The red beans and rice and the Jambalaya tasted good, though the Jambalaya was the only side that was hot. The beans and rice were not even warm at the bottom. The service was good, very polite and accommodating. I hope they read Yelp reviews and do something about their temperature control because I like entrepreneurs to succeed. Tonight we decided to try this place. It's less than a mile from my house, and I was excited for something different that's so close. I walked in to order, and most of the menu is cooked and under heat lights right when you walk in. I asked the person behind the counter if it was fresh, and he told me it all just came out 5 minutes ago. I took his word for it, and placed and order for an 8 piece white chicken, a few sides and ice cream. It was all rung up, and the ice cream had still not been scooped. She bagged it up and I asked her for cones to go. Just 2 regular sugar cones. She told me no, and it was an added fee. We go out for a lot of ice cream, and never have I had to pay extra because I didn't put the ice cream on the cone. I had to drive home....it was clear that I was annoyed, and she did not care. I'm sorry, but you just opened, you are trying to impress customers, and you aren't giving small cones with ice cream? Not big waffle cones...just regular cones. I got home, annoyed by the customer service, but was interested in the food. Chicken-4 wings, 4 breasts. Wings, cold...very cold. Breasts were warm, but far from hot. Waffle fries--well, first of all all their pictures on their marketing show regular fries...even the screens inside the store show regular fries. They do not have regular fries. I don't really like waffle fries, but opted to try them. Cold, dead cold, and chewy. At this point my blood is boiling... The Mac n cheese is bland. Was looking for a local place that makes fried chicken and I stumbled across this website. It's not really an eat in place because it's very small but wow! The owners were very friendly and even allowed my kids to try a chicken tender. I have to warn you it's good old fashioned Cajun style food which is a bit spicy. Not excessively hot but it does have a little kick. The food is fresh and delicious. They offer a lot of selections and a variety of sizes from indivisible to family. I've been here several times, but will not return. It's pretty good for your standard fried chicken and biscuits sitting under a heat lamp. However, I visited during COVID and no one was wearing masks. I awkwardly ordered because the second I walked in they were looking at me, and the woman filled the container while talking over my food! Oh and she wasn't talking to me, they couldn't care less if I was there. My husband went a few weeks later with his brother and it was the same thing. He turned around to walk out and they ask why he's leaving so he says we're in the middle of a pandemic and you're around all the pre cooked food with no mask. I have walked by multiple times since and IF they're wearing a mask it is always down on their neck and nowhere near their face. After just recently learning that KkC is actually a national chain, I'm quite surprised of the quality of the chicken. It's reasonably priced for dark meat pieces (much cheaper than white meat), and it's truly juicy and tender. The sides like the mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese aren't quite at the the level that you would find at the more well-known place (you know the old guy with the plantation suit), but it's not shabby, either. KkC can be found on Route 38 in North Woburn. Parking is street-only, so good luck. Everyone is friendly and I hope you'll give this a try. read more

For the price, just go to Wendy's and get a 4 for 4..save your money. Coranavirus warning, no gloves or masks were worn by the person who waited on me. The cook had gloves, no mask. I came into some plastic sheeting hanging from the ceiling with a hole ripped through for the exchanges. All the chicken was all cooked ahead of time under heat lamps, unprotected from germs. Awful and very disappointing. My sister and nephew rave about how yummy the food is.The chicken I ordered was 8 piece with a side of mashed and coleslaw. $20 I couldn't believe it. Mashed potatoes had a funny taste to them. Chicken portions were not good. 2 thighs, 2 wings, 2 drumsticks and 2 breasts....where's the meat, because there was no meat on the bones. The coating was good and it wasn't terribly greasy. Coleslaw was good. Just too bad, but they have to smarten up about the virus protection. This is only the 2nd time I've ordered out and this experience was scary, as my family orders are delivered to them, they said "how the food is prepared they didn't know, they were sure it was safe" .
