Who would have guessed you can get unbelievably good Burmese food in the mountains of western Mass?…read moreThe tea salad is the best I have had since leaving San Francisco (miss you Burma Superstar). Funky, garlicky goodness with lots of crunch. The Jet Noodle with Chicken - my kid devoured these noodles. If you love garlic this is heaven. Nice chewy noodles and tasty chicken. Big portions as well. Tom Yum Soup - tangy and sour the way that tom yum should be. Excellent soup base. Note if you order online, it doesn't allow you to select a protein so we got charged the full price without being to pick a meat. best to call in the order. Braised pork belly curry special - the meat was so tender and the curry was packed with flavor. So so good! The ambience is very casual. Walk in only. Kid friendly and can handle large groups. Also some tables for outside dining. The portions are large so you get your money's worth!

This family-owned restaurant boasts plenty of seating, a cozy home-like atmosphere and incredible flavors. The portions were great and the service was absolutely wonderful. I've come to learn that they are a staple in the area and it's clear why. I ordered the pad thai and it was just scrumptious. I had a few bites of my dad's pho and it was equally as impressive. I look forward to coming back the next time I'm in the area. I'll probably order the tea salad, based on fellow Yelp Elite John H's review. 5/5 in my book!

Been driving past for six years and finally stopped. Let me stress, we arrived at 5 PM…read more Extensive selection of beers, including over 20 on tap. We are ordered the double dip, Buffalo chicken and spinach artichoke. It took over twenty minutes for the dips, even tho the place was half empty. We had a feeling the entrees would arrive shortly and we were right. Halfway thru the dips the entrees arrived. Chicken piccata was bland, and the pasta was overcooked. The sauce was watery and there was only a slight taste of lemon. Not at all what it should have been. Haddock was obviously fresh, but again, bland. Served in a bath of butter, but no herbs, no discernible seasoning. Services was attentive, beers were cold, if somewhat overpriced. Don't know that I'll be back.

The onion bites were a fantastic alternative to onion rings and dangerously easy to keep eating. The beer list reads like a who's who of great choices, and the wings were excellent, possibly the best I've had in recent memory. The buffalo sauce was especially well done, with just enough heat to know it is there, but still approachable even for someone who does not usually go for spice. The real highlight, though, was Joyce. She absolutely personified great customer service. Friendly, attentive, thoughtful, and on top of everything without ever overdoing it. Honestly, the level of care she gave rivaled service at a five-star resort. I wish Joyce could follow me around to every meal I have. She was that good. Great food, great atmosphere, and truly standout service. We will definitely be back.

I was on the hunt for a Garbage Plate in my new home of the Capital Region; this is the only place…read moreI could find one on the menu...and I looked all over. I spent way too much time toiling with the prospect of not being impressed by a plate 200+ miles from Rochester. In my head, I said to myself, there are plates in Rochester that don't even impress; why should I give the time of day to someone so far removed? It took me over two years to finally pull trig. In retrospect, I am kicking myself. Portions aside, the plate here is absolutely fantastic, like wtf. The meat sauce seems to keep the obligatory warmth of nutmeg and cinnamon, but has a delicate spice that absolutely delights in its own way. The mac salad lights up my tongue with the zest of celery and the home fries give me the crunch that I deserve. The burgers are the greasy vessel that I have come to expect, but offer much more cohesion than a typical plate. I am barely exaggerating when I say this might be Top 2 plates of my lifetime. Couple that with an awesome atmosphere and an amazing happy hour and you've got gold. Thank you guys for scratching my itch.

We stayed one night in the Hilton and found this place on Yelp, read the menu, saw some photos…read more Looked fun with the NY state inspired items and they had pinball machines my kids could play. We walked over there, went inside and was greeted right away by a very welcoming young lady. The place was empty. Monday at 4:30 of course. We sat near the pinball machines and she gave us menus. The smell of urine was so strong that my 14 yr old said "we are not eating here." Clearly we left.
