I was asked what I was feeling to experience energetically out of the various programs available and I chose "Release". I didn't know what to expect and it turned out to be quite profound and healing on many levels so I want to share my experience. I was taken to a beautiful dark teal room with Tibetan prayer flags overhead...tranquil and inviting. I put on some padded headphones while the program was being initiated, and made myself comfortable on my back on an ergonomically sculpted bed. Resonant music came through the headphones as the bed began to vibrate and undulate, my back and legs receiving a massage-like experience as my entire body felt the resonance of sound healing. My first impression was feeling I was a garden being tilled...old stagnant energy was being lifted and shaken and I felt a renewed energy pouring through me. In time, I connected my experience with the elements, grounding energy of Earth, sinking and flowing as Water, lifting and moving in spirals as Air, and the warmth and blaze of Fire...as these blended into Spirit I began to journey and fell into what felt like a sleep state. The crust was also very well prepared as it was just crunchy enough. The owners Al and Eric who told me his nickname is turmeric were also there and they were so pleasant and kind. Eric told me that his nickname is turmeric, and I complimented him on the excellent play on his name. He told me that they have events often and tonight they will be having a tribute to D'Angelo with the DJ and everything! Later in the month, they are going to have a Prince tribute as well! He also mentioned a paint and sip event where the artist will be there. They have beautiful art on the walls and the vibe here is cozy and pleasant.
