For my money these are the best donuts in Greensboro. The location on W. Market Street is good as well, but I think, particularly if it is later in the day, the donuts at the Battleground location are much moister. Also, the Apple Fritters, Cinnamon Rolls and Bear Claws are much larger than the location on W. Market Street. If you are looking for the best Apple Fritter in Greensboro, this is the place, but you better get there early as the are sometimes sold out in the early afternoon. read more

A coworker bought a dozen donuts from here and brought them in to share with the team. I tried the strawberry shortcake one and the Oreo one. The strawberry shortcake was my favorite. I'm happy to have walked into Donut World and get a smell of what's going on. Super clean spot and very friendly service! No complaints here. We had Glazed Twist, Strawberry Sprinkles Cake donut, Double Chocolate Cake, Maple, Boston Creme, Apple Fritter and Chocolate glazed!!ALL PERFECTLY SOFT SWEET AND DELISH! Unlike Krispy Kreme they aren't greasy eggy tasting if that's your thing.
