I love Krispy Kreme, and donuts. They have a new chocolate glazed donut that came out today and we are very excited! Also purchased the Oreo cookie chiller that is not my favorite but still quite delicious. The donuts were fresh and HOT light was on, SO THRILLED. And as usual, they taste delightful! Our cashier was very nice and this location offers a military discount which saved us about $1 :) All in all, they deserve their 5 stars. read more

Awful customer service!!! I placed an order for 18 dozen original glazed online. They charged my credit card so I went to pick up at the designated time. They didn't even know about my order until I mentioned I was here for it. Then, they proceeded to tell me they couldn't fulfill it even though they already charged my card. Fantastic service! I came in Sunday morning after a work meeting. Decided to treat myself to a half dozen glazed and a half dozen mixed (3 Boston, 1 Lemon, 1 Glazed, 1 Apple). It came out to $14 and some change. I realized I did not have my wallet from the day before. I was helped by Adrian. He offered Apple Pay first. I did not have that. I was the only vehicle in the queue. He kindly said, don't worry sir, the donuts are on us today. I am not a fan of not paying for items I intentionally want to make a purchase. I called back today (Monday) because I was back on this side of town. Called in first to make sure Adrian was working. He was off until Thursday 7:30am (I will be back Thursday to tip the gentleman). However, I spoke with the Christina, the manager. She spoke highly of Adrian. I agreed and she said don't worry about it, simply pay it forward. Doughnuts a sweet treat we all love to eat!! Everyone waits for that red light to flash hot that's when the original glaze are at their best! Stopped in today as the line wasn't as far back as it normally is so I figured I'd be able to get in and out quickly, unfortunately that wasn't the case as I sat in the drive thru line I noticed the few cares ahead hadn't been helped yet and cars were behind me so too late for me to leave so stuck I waited. As my turn approached I see why it took so long as I was told it would be 10 mins for glazed now seeing that I had already waited so long what's another 10 right... Would've been worth it had the rest of my order been accurate, they failed to give me my maple doughnuts as they were replaced with all chocolate I asked for 3 lemon filled and 3 raspberry filled and was given 4 lemon filled and only 2 raspberry filled now will this prevent me from returning probably not but it did make this experience not a great one and those expecting certain doughnuts a little disappointed. read more

I have been there 6 times trying to get the pumpkin donuts which they never have and have a different excuse every time. Just take them off the menu already. I bought a box of assorted minis which are listed on the price board for $15.99 but was charged $16.99 and the manager Jasmine refused to honor the price listed on the menu board that we were both looking at. I placed an order at 6:57 pm on 2/13/22 for a pick up time of 2/14/22 at 9:45 am. I got there before my time, waited in the long line. I had to get someone's attention to get service. This employee then proceeded to look for his lost iPad. Once found he located my order and proceeded to put my order together barely. it was not ready to pick up at time requests. I then noticed that he was just picking random donuts and putting them in my box. I pointed out that I had ordered the valentines dozen. He then said to me, "I box the donuts you don't." I then asked to speak to someone else. While I waited I noticed that he gave two of my box donuts to a different customer that was waiting in line. After waiting a while for a different employee to approach me, 15 minutes had gone by. I explained my situation to that employee I also explained that customer service was lacking in the previous employee that he told me that he was boxing the donuts not me and that I was simply asking for what I paid for she said for me to wait five minutes and she would take care of it I proceeded to wait an additional 10 minutes before she returned. At that point I noticed that she also was not giving me exactly what the box stated I should have at this point I was waiting for so long that I just took what I was given and left the store I am completely disappointed I will never shop at Krispy Kreme again. This krispy Kreme (only one in tucson) consistently misses the mark. I buy lots of donuts (10 + dz) for my church every sunday, rotate though all places in town Krispy creme consistently has the word customer service I call ahead at least 30 mins ahead bc I have a large order; they arent ever ready Always have 1 cashier helping entire lobby, and 3 helping drive through? Always out of donuts in the morning....makes no sense when all they sell is donuts. Needs new management or will be closed soon read more

Worst ice coffee I've ever had in my life. It looked like ice tea and tasted like water.

It pains me to write this bc I love krispy and it's always been my go to but my most recent visit a couple days ago will likely have me not returning for a while. I can always tell when the oil hasn't been changed out for a while. This mostly happens in smaller businesses it seems as I know it's costly to change it out so often. But the donuts were just terrible. You could see immediately that they were darker in color and then when eaten they tasted terrible and were a harder consistency. This is probably for the better anyway as I like to support local... time to try out some more donut spots! read more

Krispy Kreme, don't say you open at 5:30 when you don't. Stop turning your "Open" sign on at 5:30. You don't open at 5:30. Tried to pick up 2 dozen donuts this week and last for work. Despite signs on the door saying open at 5:30, website saying 5:30, and the lit up "open" sign, this location does not actually open at 5:30. Two times I went doors are still locked up. I even walk to the front of the store so the employees can see me - look right at me and still don't open. I waited around until 5:45 both times I went before having to leave. I'm generally meh, when it comes to eating Krispy Kreme donuts, and prior to the other day, I had never gone to one of their standing locations. That tidbit about me did not sit very well with a friend of mine, who insisted that we come here during peak hours, when the donuts were fresh made and warm. She insisted that I was going to like it better than the packaged stuff. Unfortunately we were both disappointed. The customer service was terrible. It seems they cared more for their drive through customers than walk ins. We were not greeted at all. We stood there waiting at the counter for several minutes, while the woman served all of the drive through customers, some of whom arrived after we did. When someone did come out to help us, they didn't seem to know what they were doing. In addition to that, the donuts we received were not warm and did not seem fresh as advertised. Despite that, the person who helped us insisted they just came out, when they clearly weren't. Now, normally, after an experience like this, I try to come back to give the place a second chance. Not sure if I will be giving this place a shot. There was absolutely no good excuse for the experience that we had. read more

As I'm walking out I hear staff talking about using coupons. This is the second time I have used coupons at this location. The first time was to bless teachers and received the same treatment. Now, for the past 2.5 years I've lived here, I have been desperate for Kreme filled glazed. Everytime I'm in Phoenix, I plan to stop by but run out of time... So I was thrilled when this decided to open. I have gone roughly once a week since they opened, and thankfully haven't gained extra weight and every time they are soooo good. I love my Kreme filled and the cake ones. I will say they have gotten my order wrong at least three times, too many similar options, custard filled and regular glazed... It is frustrating going through the drive thru then having to park and go in... But then they offer you free donuts for the screw up and you take a bite and forget what you were complaining about!!! I have decided that the best thing to get at Krispy Kreme is their classic glazed donut. Everything else tastes like chemicals. I am so spoiled by Donut Wheel on Kolb, which has the best donuts in town. This new location for them is gang busters! They have been busy since opening. I'm glad to see that. Their cake donuts are really decent, too. But again, anything but their glazed has a hint of chemical in the taste for me. It was that way with their Boston Creme filled. But oh, well, The glazed are certainly worth a trip. However, the service. I've been in Krispy Kremes before and this one is definitely on the slow side. Sure, they just opened, but they've been open for a couple of weeks or more now. And it is no secret on how to run a Krispy Kreme. When I went, there were a few people in front of me. A party of five ordering individually, and a party of three ordering a dozen together. 20 minute wait. What's the deal? I've been at Krispy Kreme's with longer lines and got my order in 5 minutes. How difficult is this, folks? Also, in speaking with an employee when I asked when they would have the apple fritters (they were out) and she said she doesn't know. They do not make them on a regular schedule, and when they do, it's not that many and when they run out for the day (which is pretty quickly) they run out and no more are made. What kind of business practice is that? And she also said in passing that there were a few days when they were completely out of donuts. Wait--you are in the DONUT business and you run out of DONUTS?!!! I wonder what it would be like if McDonald's ran out of hamburgers. Well, good luck at this store. Seems like a hit or miss.
