Standard Krispy Kreme. This location is easily accessible via bus, has a drive thru, large lobby, and free spacious parking lot. Lobby has booths and tables available. Staff is efficient. My recent visit I had an original glazed which is necessary and the best doughnut here. Also tried the Skeletor Double Chocolate collab Masters of the Universe doughnut which was yummy but the filling was too sweet for me. I still recall lining up for hours at the first Krispy Kreme in Issaquah eons ago. Folks have their regional favorites like KK, Dunkin', Winchell's, Tim Hortons, as well as, local indies like Top Pot, Mighty O, Donut Factory and lots of mom & pop shops. Just about everyone loves a tasty doughnut. Plus they seem to run random campaigns that keeps the interest going. I'm glad in WA State there are seven Krispy Kreme locations: Issaquah, Seattle/SoDo, North Seattle, Tacoma, Vancouver, Yakima, and Richland. Spread that love around. The closest one to me is the North Seattle site at 125th/Aurora. I've had no issues purchasing doughnuts onsite, via drive through, or online for pickup. It's great that the production line is visible upon entering, fun times for the young at heart. Always a variety of fresh doughnuts, beverages, and some limited swag. Even better when the red signage is lit up for super fresh doughnuts! The staff are okay, but most of the time they seem exhausted, indifferent, or totally out of it. Plus often the dining area looks rather questionable. Located in the sketchy stretch of Aurora with its colorful cross-section of humanity, including some scantily clad street walkers. Just saying if you have some impressionable littles along for the ride. Minus two stars. This is an infrequent sweet treat and boy do they disappear fast once the box(es) is/are opened! read more

I've been to this location multiple times, and they're always fast and fully stocked with all sorts of donuts. Their hours during the COVID years were annoying, so I'm glad they now have longer hours where I can make it in time after work and later on the weekends. Lately, I came to redeem a recent free dozen glazed donuts offer. The app wasn't letting me select a dozen glazed donuts to check out on my phone at this location - saying it was unavailable. As soon as I walked in and showed the offer to one of the workers, she knew about it. Luckily, they did have the glazed dozen available, but I don't know why the app was wrong. The cashier (different person) knew how to process the deal on my phone, which is a surprise because I've run into issues at other chain restaurants with phone/app deals where the cashiers don't know what to do or aren't familiar with the deals. read more

We all know Krispy Kreme has great donuts but man, this location is terrible about every other aspect. Stopped by during a double dozen promotion - lobby closed, so we wait in the drive thru line for 20 minutes. Once we get there and order, we're told they are out of glazed donuts and that's it. We ask further if they're making anymore and are told that the worker who makes the donuts decided to leave early (this is 4 hours before closing). So they just don't want to make donuts anymore and won't honor promotions, that's cool. They could've at least told everyone in line that they were out or told us as soon as we reached the speaker rather than have us ask for more details. Came back later to buy donuts - the original glazed are good as always but the assorted variety didn't feel the freshest. Donuts alone would be 2-3 stars compared to the 5 I'd have given back when I was a kid. Place has fallen apart, visit another local donut shop. read more

Let me start by saying, this krispy cream has a "good" safety rating, and after asking the worker, it seems I'm not the only one confused by this. if you experienced the horrors of my visit today, you would question reality itself. Firstly, pulling into the parking lot of this dingy shack, there were multiple workers smoking weed. We then went inside, a very sad, old smelling, empty building. As we approached to order, we caught a worker in the back picking up dough from the floor and putting it back into the container, like seriously scooping it up with both hands and putting it back into its container. We ordered 4 donuts, including 2 valentines edition flavors. To say the absolute least, they were abhorrent. we should have taken the floor dough as a warning sign. After eating, the symptoms started, we could physically feel the dirt, germs, and sickness in the donuts entering our bloodstream. It immediately started bubbling in our stomachs, it wasn't sitting right, our bodies rejected these donuts. We had to make an EXTREME effort to not vomit. I genuinely believe that if you tested these donuts in a laboratory you would find traces of the fucking bubonic plague, this might be the end of my life, final words, don't go here. read more

Lately I have been getting Krispy Kreme donuts on Friday's for all of my hotels to show appreciation to the employees. I usually go to the North Seattle location, in which my favorite so far has been the limited time, Island Time dozen. The flavors it came w/ is the pina colada, island time, & the key lime pie. The pina colada consists of original glazed donuts filled w/ pina colada flavored Kreme, dipped in pina colada-flavored icing, sprinkled w/ toasted coconut shreds, & topped w/ a candied cherry. My box of assorted looked better. Flavor was fine on what i ate. But the Bavarian cream filled was sooo stale. Maybe over cooked. Bad oil. Bad cook. Who knows. I want to toss these all but i hate to waste $40. I only tried 2 glaze and 1 Bavarian cream. Im just disappointed so i had to write a review. I had to stop by Krispy Kreme Doughnuts as my dr appt was nearby. I need to watch out my carb and sugar but can't resist.. I love doughnuts and this place in particular since they opened up the store a while back. No more hype about this place anymore but they still make pretty solid doughnuts. And they are different from grocery store doughnuts. Soft, light texture of glazed originals are my favorite of all. They had seasonal flavors like strawberry glazed and cinnamon/cream cheese frosting glazed today, and I gave a try. Still original glazed tastes better to me. Their price is decent, $15 with a dozen doughnuts and a small cup of coffee plus a free doughnut upon signing into the reward program. We just left the Aurora store where we had ordered one dozen of original glazed and one dozen of the pumpkin spice assorted that were on the sign as advertised. We pulled away with an incorrect order- one dozen glazed and one dozen of the same pumpkin spice glazed (not assorted). All of the donuts seemed old. We went into the store where there were three young men with no customers in store or in the drive through to try to correct the order. One of them told us they'd be happy to take care of the issue. Another one who seemed to be a member of "management" said they didn't have any of the types we ordered. I walked over to the case and all of the doughnuts pictured seemed to be there. Then they switched tactics and said they heard what we ordered, that basically we were lying and that they would not be willing to correct the issue. We live out of the area near Canada and were hoping to surprise our two sons as we don't have Krispy Kreme in our area. I am extremely disappointed in the lack of customer service and rudeness I experienced at this store. The manager seemed to have something to prove rather than making a customer happy. It is no wonder the stores don't seem to be more successful in our area. There seems to be a genuine lack of training and knowledge of how to treat people in general. I love Krispy Kreme donuts but when I visited today I left in shock. After I purchased my donuts I asked if I could get the key to use the bathroom. The employee gives me the key, and when I enter the bathroom I noticed there was no toilet paper or paper towels. We drove up from Snohomish for the worlds best doughnuts. And well we were very disappointed in not only the selection but also this store is gross. The selection. Is less than half what is listed on the website with many slots being duplicates and jelly/cream filled being even fewer and not filling the shell as one should be. Everything was dirty, seats are all ripped, we ended up bussing a table and cleaning seats. Should have looked around before committing to eating. And once outside since I was now paying attention the parking lot is another mess that should be someone's first warning.
