National donut day. Huge long line at drive thru. We finally get to order, and no donuts.

I understand Covid still exist, but only a drive through at this point is silly. The parking lot is not designed for this much traffic. Then we get to the speaker and they ask "what would you like to order", which I happily provided, only for them to say," Sorry, all we have is glazed". Not wanting to have waisted 20 minutes in a drive through we ordered 4 glazed. We get to the window and she says, "you ordered 6 donuts". Not wanting to argue and being ok with paying for 2 extra, I said ok. We paid for 6 and then left. What a surprise it was to open the box and only get 4. Start to finish, the worst donut experiences ever. Go to Riverdale or another donut shop. read more

I'm sorry i have visited this place twice in the last month and they still don't have cake donuts or apple fritters, i recently decided to call them to see if they had blueberry cake donuts and the gal said yes we do, so i proceeded to get in line (8 cars back) and when i finally got to the order window, they told me they didn't have any cake donuts, the person said the gal didn't know but i had to wait 25 minutes in the car line to be told this. Donuts are great (as is the selection), but coffee is terrible. We've tried this place multiple times and this is always the outcome.

Ordered on their website, after 15 minutes of waiting after the estimated delivery, hearing nothing I called the store, was told that apparently door dash delivers for them. THEN TOLD THAT THEY TRIED TO CALL ME because they could find my house. Which no one ever tried to reach me I've been sitting here waiting to hear anything. Said that I needed to contact door dash when I didn't even order through them. Then all of the sudden I was told that they got delivered and they said they would try to figure out what happened, THEN CONTINUED TO HANG UP ON ME AND AUTOMATICALLY SENT A FULL REFUND. Grateful for the refund but I spent almost an hour waiting for these donuts for my son because he's been asking for them all morning to get nothing. Don't offer the service of delivery if you're going to just hang up on your customers and refund them instead of trying to contact them to ensure they get their order. Website says they are open. Drive-through is closed. Sign on the door of the lobby saying it is closed and the doors are locked. Parking lot full of employees cars. What the hell? It is so frustrating when I call the day before to ensure they will be open in the morning prior to 8:00 AM for me to get donuts for my classes. Once again, Krispy Kreme disappoints. I ordered the Halloween donuts for Halloween day I went and picked up my donuts went to my child's school and they were not the specialty Halloween donuts that I thought I had ordered and I paid extra so I had called and talked to a manager about my situation and she said that she would save a dozen under my phone number so it is now December I haven't been back there since October so I called tonight and ask them about my credit and not only was the guy on the phone rude but apparently the manager I spoke to did not save my phone number because they said it should be under my app well it isn't there is no free dozen on my app so I will not go to this location anymore I would rather drive 30 minutes to the Riverdale store read more

Terrible service!! We were in line for the drive thru on a Sunday morning around 9am they opened at 8am. There was maybe a total of 6 cars and we were last in line. All of the sudden an employee comes out and puts a sign up in front of the car in front of me, and the sign said "our new hours are from 11-8" thus not the last two cars to go through the drive thru. I asked the employee what the deal was and he did not answer me and walked inside and gave us no explanation. Will not be coming back to this location! read more

I'm a self-proclaimed donut addict. The only reason I drag myself out of bed at a ridiculously early hour, on a daily basis, to run; is because I want to be able to eat donuts- and not pay the weight-gain price. Krispy Kreme certainly doesn't serve up the best donuts I've ever had. Nor, do they charge the lowest price. But this Krispy Kreme location has two things going for it, that regular donut places do not: #1- they serve donuts all day, not just in the AM. Do you want a donut for dessert, after dinner? Or, even as a late-night snack? Krispy Kreme'll have them. #2- this particular location has a drive thru! For a Mom like me, with 3 kiddos- drive-thru's are very convenient! Personally, I'm a fan of Krispy Kreme's glazed donuts. I think they're good. And the last time we were there we tried a carrot cake donut that was pretty-darn tasty! Krispy Kreme isn't the best donuts in the whole world but they're one of the funnest bakeries to visit. My daughter loved watching the assembly line of donuts roll on by and we got 6 free donuts with vouchers. Good service and the product tastes great. read more

It's been yrs since I've visited a Krispy Kreme, now I remember why. The service was good, the store was just ok. But for the size of business, so well known for the area I was hoping for better. I chose four donuts out of about maybe nine different kinds. I think 1.20 each. Why isn't there a bigger selection? Even Walmart has more to choose from...I also ordered an Iced Mocha which was just ok too! I would of given this a 2 star, but the girl was nice. Had a frustrating experience through the drive thru. They were out of multiple types of donuts which I understand can happen; however, I asked for napkins and was told they didn't have any. This post is not about the doughnuts but about our experience in the shop. The lobby was extremely slow, there was a small family finishing up at a near by table, we were looking at the options then went to the registers to make our order. There was a young lady and young man near the registers who did not acknowledge us, not a nod, smile or a "I'll be with you shortly". My husband at one point said "hi" and smiled at the young lady (who at this point was behind what I assume was the coffee area) I thought for sure she would at least say or do something but no. The young man walked back and forth between the back counter and the display, he didn't say anything either. My dilemma at this point was knowing who was working the front counter because neither one of those two didn't seem like they were. There was another customer behind us at this point who raised her eyebrows at us confirming our confusion. The girl went back to the drive through line and kept staring at us but still did not smile or nod. The young man finally came to the register after I said "hello, anyone here?" but even then he seemed like we had inconvenienced him. I'm sorry but when someone walks into your establishment as a customer at least acknowledge them, most of us understand if you're busy or are in the middle of something...a smile goes a long way. read more

I don't know how many times lately I've gone to this Krispy Kreme during the "hot light" hours (they list 10 AM and 4-9 PM) and the light is not on and the doughnut making is not even occurring. I don't buy dozens - just one or two and the free one makes it worth it. Without out, I don't find the bite-sized doughnuts are worth the money in such small quantity. If they advertised a "hot light" time, they should honor it or else it just turns into a bait and switch. read more

I went to get 2 dozen donuts for my best friends birthday. Half of the Donuts I wanted to get they had already ran out of. The girl taking my order acted very irritated with me because I had to find other donuts to buy because they didn't have enough!!!! Went to this location on a Saturday to get the BOGO on the dozen donuts. We were told they only work with glazed but a family friend ordered delivery and got the deal with the assorted box. I went here early in the morning for the buy one get one dozen for 80 cents. It was super busy, as expected. There were people waiting outside for it to open so my boyfriend and I decided to just go through the drive thru. The girl at the drive thru was so so sweet, especially considering it was 6am and they were already bombarded with customers. It probably took me less than 5 minutes to order and get my dozens. The donuts were warm and super soft. They tasted amazing. The iced coffee was my favorite. It was sweet and bitter at the same time. I actually came back a few days later for more and the worker was just as nice and it was just as quick as last time. Definitely would recommend this location. read more

Got in line around 12-12:15 and picked up my donuts around 1. I understand how busy they are so I didn't mind the wait. The staff was working hard and still friendly, my biggest complaint is that the manager wouldn't let me give their team a $5 tip, because they really deserve it. Other than that, my experience was great, but I can always go somewhere else to get donuts. I say let your teams accept tips, it doesn't negatively impact you, and it let's your customers show their appreciation for the hard work. read more

I guess we chose the wrong time to come in, they were out of everything. We needed 2 doz but took the last 4 glazed donuts, no cinnamon twists, no raspberry filled, no custard filled...we settled for some others and a few maple bars at no additional cost. They apparently were slammed today (Black Friday.). The Production team had just arrived and so they should have some nice fresh hot ones of everything within an hour. Don't get coffee here at least not in the afternoon because they have no idea what they are doing. I went last week and ordered an iced mocha I mistakingly thought was part of the $1 special, it wasn't ok, no biggie I paid $3.99 for it and went on my way and I thought it was really good. So I went back today and I ordered the same drink and this time it looked completely different and the cashier told me it was the same only looked lighter because of fresh brewed coffee. I explained that last time it had whipped cream and a different top on it etc and chocolate and looked nothing like what he gave me. Well he continued to argue that this is what I ordered so I left. We ordered a box of 6 donuts--maple bar, chocolate custard, birthday cake, cinnamon twist, chocolate cake and blueberry cake--and every one was STALE!
