This location is never busy and I can get a nice warm donut within seconds. The donuts are always a decent size and they recreate the specialty donuts just like the photos which I appreciate. This location is a little tricky to get to since it's in a dead end corner, but I'll always choose to come here over others because of convenience. We don't come through too frequently, but when we do- it's such a treat! I bring my toddler through and we will get a few doughnuts to share, and I'll get a latte or coffee if I hadn't had on yet. The service is usually pretty quick, and most the time friendly. I have their app so I'm able to see when the fun limited edition flavors come in. We went at 8:30 in the morning to get donuts and there wasn't even making them. The donuts they had were yesterday's.

I haven't been to Krispy Kreme in years, but my daughter requested birthday donuts for dessert, so I stopped by today to pick some up. When I pulled up, they had a sign out front saying that the lobby is for online orders only, but that the drive thru is open. No big deal! I just pulled around to the drive thru. As soon as I pulled up, they were immediately ready to take my order. I asked a few questions and then ordered 5 dozen donuts. I had some old coupons from a fundraiser, so I technically only paid for 3 dozen. I noticed they had signs next to the menu asking customers to please be patient since they have been short staffed since covid. I'm sad that that any business has to put up a sign like that. What is wrong with people? Life is too short to be a "Karen." I pulled up to the window and paid for the donuts. Before I could even blink, they had my 5 dozen ready! I squeezed all 5 dozen through my vehicle's window, had a laugh with the cashier, and then was on my merry way. All in all, I had a great experience at the Krispy Kreme drive thru. Recently, I had to hear my buddies complain that there wasn't a Krispy Kreme in Salt Lake City for more than a week while on our yearly ski/snowboard adventure. Visiting from Michigan and drove by Krispy Kreme everyday waiting for the light to go on. Looked online and it said everyday from 5-8 the light would be on. One evening my daughter drove to Layton, we're in Syracuse and asked for a variety box. The girl was confused so my daughter said "you know, a mixture". They gave her a mixture, not one glazed and they were NOT hot and fresh. $17 for some stale donuts I could have bought at a grocery store. I've tried really hard to love this place, but at the end of the day.... it's a donut shop. And when I say donut shop, I mean a very average donut shop. I think this is one of those national chain type places that people love because they've been told how wonderful it is and heaven forbid you be so edgy as to say "meh." Well, "meh." I was able to get buy one dozen and get the second dozen for a dollar. I bought four dozen and took them to my daughter's class and it was a huge hit. I don't typically buy donuts because I'm always try to eat healthy, so I like to splurge when there's a promotion. We decided to take the kids for a treat the other evening to sample your new Reese's flavor. First off, that flavor is way too sweet. The reason for this Yelp review, however, is because I'm really irritated that you charged me a 1% "restaurant" tax on top of the standard sales tax. We went into the restaurant and ordered them to go. I think back in the day Baskin Robbins used to charge extra tax if you ate inside the restaurant because I guess they had to account for cleaning up your mess. But I got the order to go. I'm irritated enough that I probably won't come back. At the very least, I won't come back unless there's a great promotion. Sometimes you need to start your day with some donuts. Krispy Kreme's donuts are small but they are delicious. There are other donut shops around but Krispy Kreme always seems to have all their varieties in stock throughout the morning. This location does a good job at getting customers served quickly. Most of my experiences have dealt with the drive thru so I cannot speak to the interior experience. The drive thru is right next to the dumpster which at times is messy with carts and other supplies. A couple times I've gone through, I've seen employees hanging around smoking as they throw out old donuts. It made me question the cleanliness of the shop. read more

Really?!?! I made an on-line order for the two specials they are advertising today. When I got there to pick them up they have neither special! Some one couldn't take ten seconds to call me and save me a trip! So, substitute a dozen glazed for one and refund the other that way I still have something. She hands me two dozen at the window. Oh, they have one special. Just give me the doughnuts already. I get home and find the special she did give is wrong. A call to the manager informs me that they are not doing either special and substituting other donuts they do have. How about warning people of this!!! I ordered donuts through the app and sat outside the store at 0800 itself in Layton waiting for my order which the app says would 'approximately be ready by 0815. 0830: I call the store to ask about my order and at first the young lady says she couldn't find the order but then finds it and tells me it's not ready. I ask when it will be ready and she says it will be later in the day, I let her know I've been patiently waiting and expected it to be ready by the time the app said it would be ready. I asked if someone can deliver it but told deliveries are done through Doordash. I reaffirmed that I wanted the doughnuts three times during the conversation and through the confusion on her part. Suddenly, without asking, this employee did the unbelievable: she refunded my money, canceling my order, ASSUMING I was going to go through Doordash. I asked her why she did this and that I didn't tell her to do that. She said she did this because other customers usually go for the Doordash to which I responded that I'm not the usual customer and I still want my doughnuts. She breaks down over the phone complaining about being stressed and the only employee there and not enough staff to handle the orders which I get but that's not my problem. In my disappointment and disbelief I tell her to call me when the order is done and keep the order as it is. She says ok and I hang up: This was a $44.00 order. Ordered 4 dozen doughnuts for St Patrick's day. Ordered them On Friday for Sunday delivery at 7:00. I received an email on Sunday morning at 6:50 saying they cancelled my order and to call the store. Spent the next hour trying to call with no answer or any way to leave a message. Then they continued to charge my card for the order. The place is very close to the highway, which is good for a quick snack stop. The cashiers/servers are mostly nice. The lines are no too long. The donuts are not always fresh (a day old) and sometimes seems like they forgot to put enough filling on the raspberry or lemon pastries. read more

This is the third Friday morning that I've gone out of my way to stop to pick up donuts for my staff only to find the doors locked and drive thru closed. Went to get our kids donuts, 4 donuts were unavailable and I asked if they had chocolate cake donuts which didn't have an unavailable sticker on them and they said they didn't have either of the cake donuts and all they had were glazed, maple and the Jelly and kreme filled donuts. Who doesn't have a love-hate relationship with Krispy Kreme?! Their donuts are good but so naughty to eat! If it wasn't for the fact that I can get freshly made (and still hot!) off the line donuts I'd most likely not bother with getting Krispy Kreme. However, where this location makes all the donuts for the about a 40 mile radius the opportunity to get a fresh, hot (and free!!) one are abundant. PS If the "red light" is on not only are the donuts being made then and (usually still) hot but you can get a free one as a sample! Yum! This location is always clean and the staff are consistently friendly. PPS They give 1 donut per A on report cards-up to 6 free donuts per child. I would give zero stars if I could. I ordered 4 dozen donuts for a birthday "cake" for a party, paid in advanced. I arrived 30 minutes AFTER my pick up time to ensure they would be ready. I arrived to a closed store. When I called the store number, I was advised the fryer was broken and they could not fulfill my order. I asked why I wasn't contacted and the response was, "We don't really have a way to do that." They don't have a way to contact catering order customers? Well, they had my phone # as I received a confirmation text, as well as an email. The icing on the cake was getting an email, advising of the order cancellation with the reason, "Customer did not want." Seriously? Terrible customer service and accountability for the error. I will never buy Krispy Kreme again.... Not because the fryer was broken... But because they couldn't fill my order, they knew they couldn't, didn't offer an apology, nor offer to have another store fill the order. They basically couldn't have cared less. read more

The drive thru line was the only thing open because someone decided to close the inside so everyone had to wait in the drive thru and that line was long, we clocked it we waited 39 minutes to even order and another 27 to get our food, literally the worst experience. Sooo disappointed. I was planning for things to be pretty busy considering everything going on right now as we pulled in I thought about how lucky we were! No one was in the drive-thru so we pulled in. We mentioned the strawberry glazed dozen for $5 and someone said we had to have the coupon on hand. So we said "okay someone is pulling in behind us so we'll pull around and come back in a minute once we find it" So we pulled around instantly because I had found the coupon. We roll back in, "Hey it's the person one car ago who asked about the strawberry glazed dozen promotion." We proceeded to order the strawberry glazed dozen, a medium iced coffee, and a mix and match dozen with a lemon filled donut and the rest to be randomized. As we pulled through, the car that had been behind us but was now in front was pulling away. We pulled up to the window and the cashier asked what our order was. We thought he just needed a reminder because he had on a headset and must have heard our order that we placed a few seconds earlier. So we said it was the two dozen- one strawberry glazed and the order mix and match. He didn't ask for our coupon. He charges us and while I wait on the drink I tell him I'm confused because we got the coupon out but wanted a receipt because he had not asked for the coupon and I wanted to make sure he had applied it. He didn't give us a receipt but I don't totally blame him as he did continue starting to talk about how he didn't get the drink on the ticket and he would need our number. This was confusing and eventually I asked "Do you need the coupon code number or a phone number? What are you asking?" He kept talking about reward points but that had absolutely nothing to do with the interaction because I had asked about the coupon and being over charged. Anyway we get home and after everything, there is not a SINGLE lemon filled donut in the whole box. 3 strawberry filled and the rest were almost entirely chocolate. But no lemon. Furthermore, the iced coffee tasted more like milk than coffee. We drove 25 minutes out specifically for donuts. Please tell your employees to listen and pay attention to orders. Tell them that if they don't know the entire order, it's more appropriate for them to ask for the order in it's entirety than to screw it up. I have sympathy regarding what is going on right now and I would understand if things were busy.
