In South Carolina, Krispy Kreme is the doughnut of choice for most people. Sure, there are Dunkin locations around but Krispy Kreme seems to have more fans. It's probably because their glazed doughnuts are always just out of the oven and warm. I bring my customers a few dozen of these every two weeks and they are a big hit. Krispy Kreme donuts have always been my weakness. The 'Hot Now' sign was on when we arrived--yaaaay!! The glazed donuts are amazing when they are hot! This shop is small. I feel like it doesn't have a large variety of flavors. It was clean. There is plenty of seating. The young lady who helped us was super friendly and attentive. She provided great customer service. We had a page of coupons. She looked over them and informed us which ones would provide the best deal. We ended up leaving with five dozen donuts--4 dozen glazed and 1 dozen assorted. read more

We went through the drive-thru on the way home from SC, and I was excited because they handed me a box of hot donuts. When I bit into one, however, my heart sank. Instead of the light, fluffy donuts I've come to expect from Krispy Kreme, it was dense and greasy. Clearly, the oil was not at the correct temperature. This was a goal of mine to stop at a Krispy Kreme on my road trip down south... I was so happy we found one! There was a line, which went fast, and I got to see the oozing glaze waterfalling down the machine. I wish I could have stuck my head under there. So yummy! Staff was friendly and the place was clean. They made me a decaf iced coffee which kind of sucked, super weak and watery... but I will give them the benefit of the doubt, that their hot coffee might be decent. The light was not on when I arrived, but that's ok, I still stopped in for a quickie. One chocolate frosted donut with a chocolate milk was all I needed to boost my energy to continue along my trek up I95. Service was quick, because we were the only ones there, and there was plenty of parking, because we were the only ones there. Easy access off of the interstate. Selection of donuts was not large, but it was about 9pm, so I don't expect things to be rocking and rolling like it normally would be in the morning. read more

I had promised my son that we would stop at Krispy Kreme to get him some donuts on the way home from McCloud Hospital. We went threw the drive threw and placed out order and we did t open the box till we got home. When we got home it was the incorrect doughnuts and they were hard as a rock. We love Krispy Kreme but this isn't the first time we had wrong order or old doughnuts at this Florence SC At I95 location. Please stop making the other Krispy Kreme shops look so bad . This is one of the smaller KK's I've been to. They have their own donut making machine so you will be able to get the famous fresh "Hot Now" donuts. Since this is a smaller facility, their machines are also smaller than the ones I'm used to--just translates to smaller volumes = a little longer wait. The facility is fresh and new looking. Also checked out the bathroom facilities after reading other reviews. Nothing out of the ordinary; bathrooms not spotless but not a "disaster". The clerks were average--maybe not the friendliest, nor the meanest, and certainly not the fastest nor most motivated. Four stars because they sell a 5-star product but could improve on the experience. read more

Today while traveling I was excited to see a Krispy Kreme. I ordered a large coffee and some donuts. The coffee was way too weak and too sweet with added hazelnut I pad for, so I poured out about a fifth of it so I could get it topped off to at least enjoy it. Cashier would only top it off for $1.45!!!!! Will not go back there. An extra slap in the face was when a guy walked in and she gave him a free cup of coffee!! Donuts were superb though. read more

Saw the billboard on I-95 that said "always hot" donuts. Our KK offers free donuts when the light is on. So we pulled off the highway, got the kids all excited, and walked in to the smallest KK store. Now size doesn't matter BUT the selection was small. Really small. We asked about the hot and fresh donuts and the lady said yeah we can get them for you and then we put our order in for a half dozen. We paid and then asked for the hot and fresh samples. The other lady said, oh we don't do that. Well boo! I get that it is the franchise's decision but I felt like the marketing on the highway was a bit deceiving. Anyway, no worries on that. We grabbed our donuts and loaded up the car. Opened up our box and the order was wrong. It was not worth turning back around. So, my two stars is for a tiny selection (they didn't have any donut of the month's special donuts or chocolate cake donuts), for misinformation from workers, for wrong orders, for lack of friendliness in one of the workers, mislabeled donuts or none at all, and boo on no free donuts.) read more

We can't pass this place when we are traveling South or North on I-95. So good, very friendly and they bend over backward to make sure you have hot glazed if you are getting glazed donuts. The other flavors like chocolate sprinkle, cheesecake, cinnamon twist, cake are equally delectable. And the coffee is very good. Driving I 95 and saw the sign. Stopped in for a break. Bathroom a disaster. Pee all over the floor. Smelled to high heaven. Tables were dirty and sticky. Service was fast but little choice. I go to this krispy kreme at least once a month to bring donuts to my place of business...usually 3 or 4 dozen. This morning I arrived just before 7am... No outside lights were on but I stopped anyway. I ordered 3 dozen original glazed and an assorted dozen and a large coffee. The total was just over $40. In my wallet, I had 2-$20 bills and a $100 bill so I gave her the $100. Immediately the lady in the window got an attitude, sighed heavily and closed the window, then another lady came over and said "so...you don't have a credit card? We can't change this."
