This location, recommend. There are two Dunkin's in Florence this one is good the other is not. Dunkin is a staple for our family I have gotten Power breakfast sandwich about 20 times my wife prefers sourdough sandwich. Only slight negative is we request sandwich be cut in half on intercom then face to face w person. Get sandwich guess what, it's not cut in half it's funny but it's not. This store is so bad that people who like DD can't even make excuses for it. This is absolutely the worst DD I have even been to and I am a DD lover. Every few months I stop by this one and a few things happen without fail. There is never a car in the parking lot so riding by it looks closed. When you go to the drive through no one, and I mean no one, will respond. I go to the window and knock and again no one responds. I walk in and have to yell for help to get someone to come to the counter. Two people always come from the back, clearly annoyed that a customer is there wanting service. They only have regular coffee, only basic adds like sugar and vanilla, a few flavors of donuts, if not only glazed only. This is not a time or two this has happened and not over a month or two. This store has been like this for over a year. And this is every time and I am not the only one who experiences this at this store. Today was my last trip to this store, not that anyone at this location would care, as my husband and I had to get a refund because apparently nothing is working, will I get it? Who knows. At this point it's not the workers fault, it's management. It's time to shut it down because you're just paying two people to exist in the store during hours. Good location we hit on the way through Florence. Staff was courteous considering how busy it was, morning rush on a Monday. Ordered a mix of drinks , donuts , breakfast items, and even merch (tumbler), and everything came out fine with a 5-10 minute wait. We ordered in person and sat down to eat; it was pleasant, clean enough, and orderly. The whole place was very on-brand, which I strangely appreciated. Lots of DNKN kitsch and plenty of coffee-related inspiration wall hangings around. By chance, it started getting really slammed right when we left; I feel for the staff who were clearly doing their best to juggle the high demand. My bacon egg and cheese on a bagel was as legit as it ever is at a Dunkin's, which is to say only a letter grade or so below an actual NY deli. Of note: I read another review on here that expressed true scandal ("Ridiculous") that they were out of everything bagels one day. This is a teachable moment for all of us. Things like that really make me realize our society would never survive a zombie apocalypse or foreign invasion or an attack by hyper-intelligent space arachnids. A word to the wise: be more thankful for whatever bagel you have. Smile at the hardworking people who made your food; eat your bagel without aquarium gravel on it, drink your coffee, and respectfully adjust your cryhole. I was SO hungry after a long, HARD (night) shift in ICU...i stopped by dunkin on the way home & im so glad i did. after receiving my food at the drive thru, the employee said "you have a beautiful/nice smile"...ik it sounds stupid, but that compliment, along w amazing customer service...yeah it really made my day. i didn't catch the employee's name but they were SO upbeat, smiley, & all around friendly. i wanted to call the manager just to let them know what a great team member they have, but i didn't want to interrupt an already fairly busy morning so here we are hahaha! it really the small things in life that matter. PS...if the manager can find out who that employee was, they deserve a raise...seriously. i only got 3 biscuits (2 sausage & cheese & 1 plain )...i was there around 08:10, if that helps. i hope y'all can figure it out who it was! Management is HORRIBLE to their employees. Every-time i go in the management wasn't helpful at all. My drink was wrong and everything was wrong. Treat your employees better and maybe they would get the orders right. The only good thing was the bathroom but it had no toilet paper. I did not ask whose name was who - both were fantastic I believe Marilynn could be one cleaning, mopping the floor and also trying to serve, Mccallum does the drive through -these are my assumptions. My family is visiting from out of town and my sister has been craving her iced caramel latte which has been pretty difficult to find. The lady helping us at the window was an absolute doll and even gave us some extra chocolate glazed munchkins to apologize for something that was out of her control. Things have gone downhill. They used to have regulars that came in everyday including myself but they became less customer oriented and more greedy. They stopped allowing refills (Starbucks allows it). They began charging for a cup of water even with a purchase. Their prices have continued to rise. They don't fill the cup up all the way. There have high employee turnover. They also used to send out mailer coupons which they stopped doing. They don't have specials like some other DD like the one in Hartsville. Even the one in Conway is much nicer. All the ones in Florence suck. read more

This was a stop for myself and a couple of friends returning to Richmond after a weekend rager in Charleston. We were hurting on that Sunday morning, and I have to say this was the absolute best experience I have ever had at a chain coffee shop. Pleasant employees, polite patrons, and exceptional management. Coffee was perfect, our breakfast sandwiches were put together personally by the manager and with such care that they looked like the pictures on the menu. This place had a warm welcome of the temperature and how it looked it looked really nice on the inside and out. One of the workers which was at the register was very nice and kind. The only problem is probably the bathroom and the food. The food had no bad taste it was perfectly fine it's just the way they made it was wrong like the donut didnt have enough frosting on it. Every day literally EVERYDAY, I go to this store. as a New Yorker we dont do krispy kreme we love our dunkin. But to my daily disappointment this store never has glazed jelly doughnuts past 9 am. They always offer me powder as an alternative, BUT I HATE POWDER. Everyday they offer me this alternative of powder and i cant help but think, if you run out of glazed jelly in the morning and always have extra powder to throw in the trash at closing.... Wouldn't common sense tell you make less powder doughnuts and more jelly. The staff even knows me at this point when they see my car they just tell me they are out of jelly. SO if they notice I come daily for this disappointment, wouldn't they have some customer service skills and say hey lets make more glazed jelly. All I wish is that Florence could get a Dunkin Doughnuts that is half way decent with some customer service skills and the intention to satisfy their customers. Amazing customer service!!! Taking our order they were energetic and positive and it put me in a good mood. They were out of some of the items I wanted, which they were extremely apologetic about, and they gave me a larger coffee for the inconvenience. We were traveling through and stopped here on our way home to Florida. I left my wallet not realizing. When I finally realized, five hours later, I called and spoke with Kendrick. He politely calmed me down as he explained to me that they had found my wallet and would kindly mail it back to me. How relieved I was to know that Lavell had found it, turned it in, and I was going to get it back! I was so pleased when it arrived back to me from Richard the manager. This Dunkin' Donuts could be perfect for travel apart from the fact that I had a bothersome time simply ordering munchkins (donut holes for the newbies). We went through the drive through and after ordering our coffee we asked for a 10ct of munchkins then the lady says "we offer them by counts of 3" so I simply say "okay well can I have a 6 count please 3 blueberry and 3 glazed" then she says "Do you want a 3ct or a 5ct". This is when I became confused... How can you offer me a 5ct but not a 10ct? Then She then starts over and says we have 3,5,10, 25 and 50 and I was just replied "okay ma'am can I have a 10ct with 5 blueberry and 5 glazed"? Simple? Nope, because Low and behold she says "we don't have blueberry how about chocolate?" thank you but no thank you. We ordered 10 glazed (I'm not a fan of chocolate ) we finally pull around to the window. Once at the window we hand her a $50 and she looks at me and says "we don't take anything larger than a $20" okayyyyy well let me get to work looking for smaller change that I don't have then since this is s whole job ordering from here in itself. so finally I somehow manage to scrape up change for these dry munchkins... and I'm just so not happy at all.
