I agree with most of the reviews on here that the experience is hit or miss depending on who is working and when you go. The drive thru line is almost always spectacularly long, and the parking/door is on the side of the store where the drive through order board is, so if you go in, you get stuck in traffic trying to back out of the parking spot. However, the coffee and food are standard for a Dunkin' and the employees are typically pleasant, just trying to make it through their day with grumpy, non-caffeinated patrons not always being the nicest. That said, my current town doesn't have a Dunkin', so I'm always happy to go visit my parents and get my fix. read more

This place is so slow and the food wasn't good. Waited 15 min for wake up wraps and Avocado Toast. There was one employee who was a real go getter making the coffees. My husband and I love the coffee and during the week the service, the servers, food and coffee are good. This is the 2nd time in the past 6 months that I've had a terrible experiences at the drive through. Today I pulled up to order with no wait. The young man said, "Hello, welcome to DD would you like to try our Coca Mocka (whatever) today?" I said, "yes, I would like a large iced Coca Mocka and a large iced Carmel Craze" He gave me the price and drove around to the window where I waited for a good 10 minutes on someone to just open the window. At least 3 people were working the front. By now there's 5 cars behind me that have ordered. A lady finally opens the window and asked, "what did you order?" I'm proceeding to tell her and she turns around and closes the window. About 7 mins passed and she opens the window again and asked, "what did you order?" By now I'm looking at her like, "do you really want to know?" I told her what I ordered. I waited a few more minutes when an older gentlemen comes to the window and took my money, then asked if I'd pull up to the curb. I sat watching as 4 cars behind get served and left. Then the fifth car gets served. By now I have sat another 10 minutes waiting. I understand that things happen and orders get mixed up or lost, but at least tempt to explain or show some kind of "I feel bad this happened." The young man that took my order at the drive through window comes strolling out with my drinks and says, "here you go! I said, "I guess after all this time I would expect a free donut or something." No, I'm sorry for your wait, not a word, he just turned and started walking away. I said, "I'm sorry but I don't understand how 5 people behind me got served before I did....." and as he opened the door to enter the building, he looked back at me and said, "YOU'LL BE ALRIGHT!" 09/25/2020 10:35 am Not only was the order wrong twice....the drive thru operater charged my card for someone else's purchase, refunded the card, and recharged my card for the correct order. While speaking to me thru the intercom and in person, she called me "Baby" at least 10 times....I do NOT find that acceptable or entertaining. However, bathrooms could have been cleaned a bit better, and although there was only one other customer in the store, several of the tables were dirty and in need of a good wipedown. Its amazing how inconsistent this dunkin is. I get the same frozen coffee everyday and its always different. On average its maybe a 4/10....but on days like today where they only put ice in it and they struggle to get it out of a blender.....why would you serve that?? I've been drinking Dunkin for a long time in multiple different states and this is by far the worst location I've ever been to. I've had ONE positive experience where my drink was what I ordered and it was quick and that was because I ordered it ahead on the mobile app. All the other times, it's takes FOREVERRRR to get your drink and they have made the complete wrong drink multiple times and then get annoyed when you tell them it's wrong. Hit or miss on the coffee depending on who is working. Some Employees are slack and roll their eyes and have an attitude when they make your drink wrong. We have stopped at this Dunkin' Donuts several times when driving to and from Georgia/South Carolina destinations (it's about a 5 minute detour from the highway), and it never lets me down. Clean space, friendly staff and they've even have a drive thru if you're in a hurry. The staff here make the Dunkie's brand proud! Pro Tip, careful if you're pulling in or out off W. When this store opened, it was great. I literally came everyday. There were regulars that I saw all the time. As time goes by, the quality decreases. The prices in Florence are greater than in Myrtle Beach which is surprising. There is a lot of turn over with employees. My biggest pet peeve is they don't fill up the cups all the way. For the cost, I expect my cup to be filled up. I asked them to fill it up and she said, we don't do refills. That's how much was missing from the cup. Enough that she thought I was asking for a refill despite just having picked up my drink. I saw another employee slide a bag across the counter to a customer. Three customers including myself were missing items from our order and the manager and maybe even district manager were present but clearly not actually present. I hate this location. If I'm running behind schedule, I have to stop to at this location versus my preferred store off of W. Lucas St. Every single time I come here, it's a nightmare. Totally unprofessional when taking orders because they don't know how to turn off the headset while talking to their co-workers RIGHT AFTER they ask for your order, and when you tell them, you have to repeat it. The most recent trip I made was 7/2/20. I asked for a large hot coffee with cream, sugar, and caramel, a small frozen chocolate, and two maple frosted donuts. Since I am from the great Northeast, when I'm in Florence there is no stopping at Starbucks for me. It's directly to DD for my two daily coffees. DD's in the Northeast have quick and uncomplicated service. Not here in Florence. Even the clerk that took my coffee order had a dirty uniform, gave no greeting or thank you, and shuffled around the store like her feet were stuck to the floor. So I returned to this location to see if things had improved and I was desperate for coffee and had no options. It is impossible to believe but things were actually WORSE! As I walked in I could hear some hag behind the counter shouting at a little old lady customer that had returned some kind of breakfast sandwich because it had black char or crust on it. The hag told her that nothing would change when she remade it because that comes of the oven. The poor little old lady waited for the second sandwich and when it arrived with more black char on it, she returned it. The hag exploded, "I told you that's how it would be sweetie" as if adding sweetie would make herself less of a skank bitch. The hag continued to press the issue into the poor little lady's very soul. I tried to catch the hags attention from across the room to put a stop to the situation but could not distract her from her prey. As I started toward the hag she relented and said she was giving the sweet lady customer a refund. I approached the sweet old lady and offered her my apologies then tried to confront the hag but she had crawled into the back to hide like a bully. I then, because bad Yelp reviews are not making a difference, called Dunkin Doughnuts hotline at 1-800-859-5339 and waited on hold for a very long time with no one answering. This has to stop. The hag's name was Tad or Pad or something like that. She was a white lady, about 45 years old with medium length purple/auburn hair and I assumed she was the manager so asking to speak with the manager was pointless. This happened 4/10/18 at about 12pm. I will continue to press Dunkin Doughnut corporate for some kind of action on this. The hag's actions are at least uncivil and could quite possibly be construed as criminal as the victim was an 80 year old little kind black lady. Have stopped here many times one my way to and from Atlanta. Last week we stopped I wanted my usual ice coffe and I picked up 2 boxes of k-cups. I stood waiting for just under 10 minutes waiting to be waited on. A manager walked by saying "hello" and kept walking. A young girl came over and said something to the manager which made her stop. The girl acknowledged me and punched something into the register while telling the manager "I am clocked out". Another manager came over and the girl said again " I'm clocked out". She said she couldn't sign on to the register. The second manager told me to go to other register which was by the takeout window. I went over and she, the other manager did not come take care of me. I was looking at the backside of 4 employees. I waited another couple of minutes, pushed my items on the counter and told the manager on my way out I would go somewhere else! A full review isn't necessary since many people have been to a DD. I don't pick one chain over the other. A fat man can be happy with both places. Well, same town but a different restaurant. Second time is a charm. Not! Visited this location on my way out of town for a little boost of energy for the long ride ahead. I asked to have my beverage made with almond milk, to be told by the cashier that it was not available. (It's clearly on the menu) After further investigation, I was told they were out of it but I could come back tomorrow when the truck delivering the milk would be there. Um, what? No ma'am!
