Great customer service, and every kind of sweet delight you could ever want! Cookies, cinnamon rolls, and everything in between. Cakes too! I didn't eat anything but my customer was super stoked to receive it all. Was about 30 bucks for 12 different treats. I would definitely come again. There are a lot of different choices that would love to sample in future. Have quiche in front glass, banana bread in baskets; have diff style birthday candles. So glad we found this place!! Awesome display of baked goods. Wide variety. Happened to notice the ad on Trace's Golf score card. Decided to check it out. This bakery is amazing. Danish, turnovers, Napoleons, cream horns, cakes, cookies (including fancy frosted ones just waiting for a celebration) , pies, quiche and so much more. Everything we bought was delicious. My brother currently lives in SC and my family and I wanted to surprise him with a birthday cake. So glad I found this place! They have a diverse menu and it was really easy to coordinate with the staff. They do deliver and there is a fee, however, this worked out perfectly for us given that we wanted to surprise my brother. My niece said I couldn't leave SC without trying this bakery and I'm so glad she took me. There are so many great and tasty selections. Hard to decide, so probably best to just order a big box and get a good selection. I appreciate that they take cake and provide small cuts. This place is usually hit or miss. Most of the staff are pretty friendly. One or two could be a little more friendly. The wait is usually an issue. I have left before being helped a few times because I didn't want to keep waiting in the long line. Their baked goods are decent. I have purchased from Freeman's a handful of times and each time has been a good experience. Most recently I bought cookies for nurses's week. I love the variety of cookies, cakes and desserts that are always filling the cases. Everything I have every gotten from Freeman's has been delicious. They also offer a military discount which I truly appreciate as a military family. I only took of one star because each time I have gone in, the front desk people haven't always been that pleasant. I wouldn't say rude but not friendly. Otherwise, great baked goods! I'm hungry for more just thinking about it. :) read more

If you're looking for some sweet-type noms in the FLO, Freeman's should be your first (and will probably end up being your only) stop. Their display cases are always full of a large variety of cakes, cupcakes, pies, cookies, muffins, etc. that should make it easy for anyone to find something to like. They usually have half cakes/pies ($10-14ish) available as well as wholes ($20-24ish), which is nice. Personal faves include their carrot and red velvet cakes. Only cons are that they're closed Sun/Mon, so plan accordingly (plan in advance for busy holidays too, especially if you're putting in a big order). Otherwise, if you've got a sweet tooth and are in the neighborhood Freeman's should be able to take care of you. read more

I called here after many attempts looking for a local bakery that could make macaroons or some other Jewish pastry. The person who answered the phone was extremely courteous and said she would check for me. She returned after a very brief wait and said that they could indeed make macaroons as a special order item. I arrived on a Friday morning to pick them up and I was greeted immediately by an incredibly friendly staff. They had my order ready and the presentation was extremely professional. I took the macaroons to work to share with my coworkers. These were absolutely divine. Everyone raved about them and for many, it was their first experience with this pastry. As usual, I had over-purchased on the quantity and I gave the leftovers to a friend from New York to take home. Her family (who are used to only the best from bakeries) raved about them as well.
